Warganda, Agus Ruliyansyah","doi":"10.26418/plt.v12i2.60051","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26418/plt.v12i2.60051","url":null,"abstract":"Seedlings of oil palm in the main nursery take place from the age of 4 to 12 months of seedlings, in that period the oil palm seedlings already need additional nutrients in the growing media. Utilization of PMK soil as a growing medium is faced with low soil fertility, low levels of organic matter availability, and lack of nutrient content. The limited carrying capacity of PMK soil needs to be overcome by adding organic matter and nutrients to improve soil fertility of PMK as a growing medium for nurseries in the main oil palm nursery. This study aims to determine the effect and dose of the best combination of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer on PMK soil for the growth of oil palm seedlings at the main nursery stage. The study was conducted in Ngabang, West Kalimantan on January 17, 2022 to May 17, 2022. This study used a field experiment method with a completely randomized design (CRD) one factor, namely a combination of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer. The combinations in question are A= Chicken manure 0 % + 100 % NPK, B= Chicken manure 20 % + 80 % NPK, C= Chicken manure 40 % + 60 % NPK, D= Chicken manure 60 % + 40 % NPK, E= Chicken manure 80 % + 20 % NPK, F= Chicken manure 100 % + 0 % NPK. The variables observed in this study were plant dry weight (g), root volume (cm3), plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), and number of leaves (strands). The growth response of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery on the 100 % NPK treatment was better than the 100 % chicken manure treatment on the variables of plant height, stem diameter and equally good on the variables of plant dry weight, root volume and number of leaves. This research aimed to study the characteristics of the Jetak watershed. Jetak sub watershed has an area of 18734.27 hectares located in District Dedai Sintang.This study was conducted at two observation points that were on the downstream and upstream conducted on 6 consecutive days and subsequently analyzed in the laboratory TSS Land Quality and Health Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura.The results showed that the pattern of Jetak’s  river pipeline that was dendritic pattern and it shaped like a bird feather. IKD value was 0.0143 km / km2 and included the low category while the transverse profile of the river at the downstream and the upstream parabolic square shaped. Orde the river consisted of 2 ordes and water quality with an average pH value in the upstream was 6.01 and on the downstream was 6.46, the temperature on the upstream side had an average value was 27,90C and downstream has an average value was 27,70C, the brightness on the upstream side has an average value was 75.5 cm and the downstream section has an average value was 96.08 cm. Flow rate at the downstream has an average value was 7.418 m3 / sec and the upstream section was 0.790 m3 / sec. Discharge curve (r) of downstream was 0.084 and upstream was 0.746 with R2 downstream was 0,007 and the upstream was 0.557. The concentration of suspended sediment downstream had an average vaue was 9.5 mg / liter and upstream was 8.33 mg / liter. Downstream sediment discharge has an average was 6.13 tons / day and upstream was 0.57 tons / day. Research conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture experimental field Tanjungpura in August to December 2014. Identification and data processing carried out at the Laboratory of Plant Pests Tanjungpura University . Research using observation method with weeds growing vegetation analysis after tillage. Observations were made after 1 times tillage , 2 times , 3 times and 4 times. Results of this study indicate that there are five species of weeds that have the highest amount of seed bank with a value of SDR above 10 % and is considered an important weed that is, Borreria alata, Cyrtococcum sp, Ageratum conyzoides, Ludwigia parennis and Phyllantus debilis. Therefore, deforestation not only causes a direct loss of forest habitat but also leads to indirect impacts as ecosystem services deteriorate or fail. Forests provide ecosystem services that include the regulation of weather and climate at local, regional and even global levels. Existence of protected forest Pinang Luar ± 3.228 acres take an important part and people living in the area has a high dependency on the forest. Farming activities become a treat to the forest and their indications show that cropland and palm estate already in the forest area. Land cover changes in protected forest Pinang luar at 2003 – 2012 impacts on villages at ring 1 area hierarchy decrease cause by population growth are not followed by the additional of infrastructures in economy, health and education. It is also caused by landconversion that occurred in the protected forest Pinang Luar. In the period 2003 - 2012, the villages directly affected (ring 1) have a level area hierarchy is much worse compared to villages that are not directly affected (Ring 2). And it affected to the development of the villages in the ring 2 which is better than the village at ring 1. These conditions happen because at the village in ring 1 change only on land not on the impact on the level of development that could affect the region hierarchy. This study was performed in oil palm plantation at Rasau Jaya, Kubu Raya Regency, Kalimantan Barat Province. Vegetation analysis was conducted by using the square methods. Herbicide application carried out by a spraying method. Experiment arranged by randomized block design with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The results showed at 12 weeks after application the average density of weeds covering is 2,4-40%. This research was conducted in the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura Pontianak, started from February to July 2014. This study used a field experiment with completely randomized design consisting of single factor i.e composted coconut coir dust, with six level treatments: S1 (800 g/polybag); S2 (900 g/polybag); S3 (1000 g/polybag); S4 (1100 g/polybag); S5 (1200 g/polybag); dan S6 (1300 g/polybag), consists of 4 replications, with 3 plant samples each. The variables observed in this study include, plant height (cm), number of fruit per plant (fruits), the fruit biomass per plant (g), total dry biomass (g), and root volume (ml). It can be seen from the vast oil palm plantations has increased and the production of crude palm oil (CPO) is also increasing, in order to meet the demand for food and non-food industries. At home, in a span of 14 years from 1990 to 2003 the consumption of palm oil has increased every year, in 1990 the new consumption of 1.2 million tons, in 2003 increased to 3.2 million.The purpose of this study was to determine the Plasma Farmers Satisfaction Of Service Partnership in PTPN XIII PIR V Ngabang. The method used daam this study is a survey method of research that is conducted to obtain the factors of the symptoms and seek factual information from a group or area. The questionnaire uses primary data with respondents numbering 50 people, the variables studied were Smallholders Satisfaction, Reliability (reliability), Tangible (Embodiment / physical evidence), Responsiveness (Seize Power), Assurance (Assurance), Empathy (Empathy).The results of the study are presented in tabular form and are described in the narrative, the result obtained is of 50 respondents regarding the services and materials in the guidance states Unsatisfied 27 respondents (54%), the quality of the means of production is satisfied by 32 respondents (64%), the service factory in TBS less able to accommodate as many as 25 respondents (50%), the core enterprise assistance in tackling pests and diseases of oil palm plantations is satisfied by 25 respondents (50%). The aim of this reasearch is  to know kinds of entomopathogenic fungus that endemic of Kalimantan Barat peat soil. This research used descriptive methods which as exploration of peat soil fungus on several locations in West Kalimantan are Rasau Jaya, Siantan and Tanjungpura University forest. Entomopathogenic fungus was obtained by trapping which apply on Tenebrio molitor larvae and isolation of peat soil. Pathogenecity of entomopathogenic fungus has been tested on T. molitor larvae. The first steps make kesum leaf extract with methanol, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, the fraction of methanol and methanol-water fraction.Each extract with a concentration of 1000 ppm RBDPO emulsified into the oil, then proceed with testing antiphotooxidation activity and total phenol content using a completely randomized design consisting of a treatment factor is the type of preparation (S) consisting of methanol extract (s1), hexane fraction (s2), ethyl acetate fraction (s3), methanol fraction (s4), methanol-water fraction (s5) is repeated three times.Observation variables involved testing antiphotooxidation activity and total phenol content.The second steps is the preparation antiphotooxidant best on first steps, the extract concentration (0, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 ppm)emulsified into the RBDPO oil, then proceed with testing antiphotooxidation activity and emulsion stability on RBDPO oilusing regression correlation, each treatment was repeated three times.The results of first steps study is the best type of preparation with methanol extracts with antiphotooxidation activity of 47.42% and total phenol of 22.03 mg GAE/g.The results of second steps study showed that increasing the concentration of the methanol extract significantly affected the antiphotoxidantion activity while methanol extract concentration no significantly effect on the stability of emulsion RBDPO in water.Emulsion stability was measured on days 0, 1, 2, 3, and showed no significantly effect.Emulsion stability did not change until three day, showed that the type of surfactant Tween 20 were used effectively in the system RBDPO palm oil emulsion in water.Keywords: kesum leaf, methanol extract, antiphotooxidation activity, total phenols, emulsion stability.","PeriodicalId":145290,"journal":{"name":"Perkebunan dan Lahan Tropika","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116807588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research was conducted in the farm of agriculture faculty in Tanjungpura university from 6 july 2013 until 14 august 2013.This research used field experiment method with randomized system, consists of 6 treatments and 4 tests, each test consists of 3 sample of plants. The treatments is: k0 = without give compos, k1 = give compos about 38,43 g /polybag  same with  4720 kg/ha, k2 = give compos about 74,43 g /polybag  same with    8720 kg/ha,  k3 = give compos about 110,43 g /polybag  same with 12720 kg/ha, k4 = give compos about 146,43 g /polybag  same with 16720 kg/ha, k5 = give compos about 182,43 g /polybag  same with 20720 kg/ha. The variable that has examined is the volume of root (cm3),  amount of leaf clorofil (spad unit), wide of leaf (cm2),weight of dry plant s(g), weight of fresh plants(g),  weight of leaf (sheet).The result of this research shows that the given of biomassa weeds broad leaves compos can increase the growth of mustrad greens on aluvial land.
