The progression of technology will require preparation of students and teachers for the 21st century, including post-secondary students, necessitating a fundamental and systematic change for learning to become ubiquitous. Ubiquitous environments should be viewed through the lens of the learner and the learning environment. Equal access for all students should be prevalent so students can have access to mobile learning devices anytime, anywhere, thus, transcending the boundaries of the classroom. Integration of m-learning and ubiquitous technology in the K-20 classroom will require a new pedagogical framework for teaching and learning. At the heart of this framework, is the metacognitive teacher: a teacher who is metacognitively aware of the affordances and challenges of technology in education.","PeriodicalId":145240,"journal":{"name":"Int. Against this background, the major objective of this article is to give a brief overview of mobile device applications that enable continuous and seamless learning and work in all research phases. It is the intention of the authors to equip teacher-researchers with a practical user guide that encourages them to try out various applications for searching, collecting, annotating, analyzing, visualizing, interpreting as well as publishing information. Especially in the context of education, these complex processes may well be linked to Bloom's Digital Taxonomy, focusing on the actions and learning behavior of the 21st century. Owing to the dynamic nature of the issue under review, this contribution will undoubtedly only offer a snapshot.","PeriodicalId":145240,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Specifically, the study explores the techniques that guide undergraduate students to learn with digital support from mobile devices and wireless communication during their classroom activities and outside the classroom with use of PDF and WAP technology. This research uses mobile phones because of its easy accessibility to students and lecturers. The researchers are interested in finding out the benefit of effective use of mobile technology in teaching and learning, identifying types of mobile application used by students and examining the time spent on effective learning by students and benefits of receiving classroom material through pdf and WAP technology. Four research questions were raised, and 80 undergraduate students participated in the study. The research design was a descriptive survey, and frequency count, simple percentage and mean score were used for the research analysis. It was revealed that students always use their mobile phones for academic purposes and academic performances of students have been improved through the use of mobile phones to solve classroom questions. The time spent on using mobile phones for learning process was also unveiled and recommendations were made based on the researchers' findings.","PeriodicalId":145240,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Mostly, these forums are closed, because some discussions about critical information must be permitted only to registered club members. Indeed, various members are connected into a network representing a forum community that participates in forming the internal structure of a club and has taken an increasingly important role in solving the club affairs. This has influenced the classic way of doing business with meetings or calls and has allowed the community to participate in forming plans. This article deals with the deep analytics of data acquired from a web forum of a small cycling club located in Slovenia for a period of five years. The purpose of these analyses is to identify various members of the forum's community, track the dynamics of events as found in this forum, and search for hidden relationships.","PeriodicalId":145240,"journal":{"name":"Int. They typically predict the ratings of unseen items by a user and recommend the top N items based on user's profile. Moreover, the profile can be enriched further by using additional information such as contextual data, domain knowledge, and tagging information among others for improving the quality of recommendations. Traditional approaches have not been effective in exploiting these additional data sources. Hence, new techniques need to be developed for extracting and integrating them into the recommendation process. In this article, the authors present a survey on state of the art recommendation approaches their algorithms, issues and also provides further research directions for developing smart and intelligent recommender systems.","PeriodicalId":145240,"journal":{"name":"Int.
