The aim of the project is the development of an automatic photography system. Argus is built on a special hardware system (central server, minicomputers with NFC(Near Field Communication) card readers and cameras) and it is controlled by a specific software system. The software system contains a server, a web application and a desktop application, which is running on a Raspberry Pi 2 minicomputer. The architecture of the system is general, so it can be used by companies from different domains. Photo taking is triggered by the NFC cards provided as tickets for different locations (adventure parks, ski resorts, etc.). As opposed to other similar systems, Argus is made up of well-known, inexpensive hardware components, available on the market to everyone.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"2010 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127350748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method is based on a task-oriented control through task prioritization which enables execution of multiple robot tasks in parallel, exploiting system redundancy. The tasks with lower priority are handled without affecting execution of the primary ones. The proposed control algorithm provides compliant behavior of the robot end-effectors, in order to enable their physical guiding by demonstrator for skill acquisition, while preserving dynamic balance of a free standing humanoid, by keeping the zero-moment point (ZMP) inside the support area, in the presence of multiple constraints and contacts. The framework takes into account torque saturation, joints' mechanical limits and exploits system redundancy to maintain the desired realization of imposed tasks. In the proposed approach all imposed tasks and constraints, including the maintenance of dynamic balance, are handled without direct influence of a human, which allows a user to focus on the end-effector guidance. The proposed method has been tested by a simulation of manipulation task on a humanoid robot. Hip-ankle strategy, for the maintenance of dynamic balance, emerges as a consequence, without explicit programing.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121697568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this paper is to analyze various measures obtained by using different ways of computing the information content corresponding to entities in a taxonomy and by aggregating different types of measures. The discriminative power of these measures is evaluated by analyzing their ability to explain existing groups in data. A case study based on medical records containing lists of ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes is presented and the proposed dissimilarity measures are used to identify prototypes in groups of patients.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131273048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also calls for development of various tools for analysis of such datasets. Collected traffic data are used for characterization and modeling of network traffic, analysis of Internet topologies, and prediction of network anomalies. In this talk, I will describe collection and analysis of realtime traffic data using special purpose hardware and software tools. Analysis of such collected datasets indicates a complex underlying network infrastructure that carries traffic generated by a variety of the Internet applications. Data collected from the Internet routing tables are used to analyze Internet topologies and to illustrate the existence of historical trends in the development of the Internet. The Internet traffic data are also used to classify and detect network anomalies such as Internet worms, which affect performance of routing protocols and may greatly degrade network performance. Various statistical and machine learning techniques are used to classify test datasets, identify the correct traffic anomaly types, and design anomaly detection mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133966615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DSS will be in the form of web application in order to bring the most practical solution. The design of these algorithms is only one of the five stages of the research in field of data analysis. That means, the other stages will be described in this article only marginally - mapping the currents situation in this IT field, identification of parameters entering into the designed models, implementation of web application and verification of DSS using case studies. For each of these areas, a separate paper will be published later. Models presented in this article are ranked from the simplest to the most complex, in each case, the algorithm is demonstrated on a model example. DSS itself, which is the output of all research should facilitate decision of organizations about selecting a suitable analytical environment, application or platform. In other words, if the company has some amount of data and does not know what to do next. The only one thing the organization knows is the fact that data are a source of knowledge and time precious.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133415889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, investment return prediction represents a significant challenge, especially because of its great diversity, unsteadiness and unstructured data with a high degree of instability and pronounced hidden connections. It is known that accurate prediction of the stock market indexes is very important for the development of effective trading strategies in investments. The main objective of the research is to perform the comparative analyses of different nonparametric methods, that is, fuzzy artificial neural networks (fuzzyANN) and genetic algorithm artificial neural networks (GAANN) for predicting the movements of the stock market indexes. The survey is conducted on the BELEX15, SBITOP, BUX and CROBEX stock market indexes. Model estimates were carried out through the prediction error MAE, MAPE and RMSE. The research results point to the adequacy of the nonparametric methods application in investments.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125073603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With regard to the driving forces, the aims of developing the smart systems in the future will be explored. The basic concepts of the envisioned system are defined in order to avoid any problems with creating the real model. The technical and technological questions of the implementation are also examined. For this reason, besides basic conditions considered during the development of the intelligent system, particular attention will be paid to the safety risks of software and hardware products. This is especially true for devices that require minimal human control, or, in case of railway, machine-controlled trains. The aim is, clearly, to ensure the highest reliability of these systems. The question is how this aim can be achieved and how can the probability of failure be reduced to the greatest extent possible.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129288421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results are presented using data in the form of captured images by a wide angle lens video camera mounted on the vertical stabilizer of a two-seater sailplane during flight. The pixel coordinates of the visible horizon line are firstly obtained using robust image recognition techniques, successfully managing problems posed by the varying exposure levels in captured images. Adaptive contrast detecting methods are employed, solving challenges caused by different ground patterns and varying color intensity of the cloud base. A means for optimal projection of the detected horizon line on the image plane is also implemented. Distortion correction caused by the wide angle lens is employed, using the a-priori identified internal camera parameters. A method for alignment of aircraft and camera coordinate frames is also proposed, based on image processing. The pitch and yaw angles of the aircraft are calculated based on a concept tested and validated both in the laboratory and in the field. The presented method can be used for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control when supplemented with additional sensors.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126473069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Egg-hunters are small shellcodes whose goal is to search for a usually longer and less restricted egg that executes the next phase of the attack. Here, this method is investigated from several new aspects. First we try to establish the length of the minimal egg-hunter code under various assumptions. Next, we study how this technique can be combined with a modern exploitation technique of return oriented programming (ROP). Lastly, a brief evaluation is given of both the advantages and drawbacks of egg-hunting.","PeriodicalId":144551,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131248765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
