How can social media literacy help to fight against misinformation and maintain digital hygiene? Conventional media literacy is the ability to distinguish fact from opinion, and to comprehend how media can be used to influence people. Facts are truthful reports of when, where, why and how the event has happened or what exists, and opinions are the interpretations of the meaning or impact, usually from an individual's point of view Kerry Gallagher & Magid (2017). The study analyzed the contents and competencies, required for an individual to become a social media literate and thereby distinguish fake and fact news in social media using a conceptual framework developed by Cho et. al. (2022). Results reveals that there is no “One size fits all” solution to develop media literacy among youth, but more initiatives and awareness programmes can be conducted and included in curriculum to educate and make aware on the pros and cons of using social media and also various tools available for fact checking in the internet.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":" 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138959790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Basically, the humans’ history is traveler’s history and it is related to the primitive needs like food, cloth and residence. In the modern world, the purpose of travel has explored the diverse cultures and creates a sense of understanding. Besides all this, people like to travel as per their current requirements in the 21st century. It is mentionable that the governance of Assam has handed over to British in 1826 and a new law and order has formed. Assamese society is changed in all fields i.e. political, economic, social, educational and cultural etc. Due to all these, the people of Assam showed their interest in many fields and necessarily made some internal and external journey. As the result of this, the Assamese travel writings have gradually increased. Assamese travel literature is the next form of that tradition which have a unique identity and characteristics. As time passes through, the tendencies of primitive travel has converted into practical travel and the Assamese people have gathered some experiences which are the main sources of writings. Mentionable that these writings can be perfect travel literature only after merged with literary virtue. It is true even in the context of Assamese travel literature too and the prosperity and development of this genre is proved today. But a deep study of this genre has not done yet and that’s why the necessity of the study encourages for this research paper where the pre and post-Independence Assamese travel literature will be analytically discussed as Assamese Travel literature-trend, classification and characteristic.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"39 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139007006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More than 94 percentage of the world’s student population has been affected by the indefinite closure of educational institutions. This has resulted in significant changes in every aspect of human life. This paper focuses on the Teacher Education sector; teacher education institutions and the various strategies adopted by teacher educators to tide over an unplanned and forced shift from face to face to online education. Teacher educators had to envisage new learning environments for student teachers, the prospective teachers, taking into account the requirements of teacher education programmers’ as well as the conditions in which both the universities and schools have to function. This paper intends to examine the various forms of online teaching modes adopted by colleges of teacher education, affiliated to different universities of Kerala state during covid-19 pandemic and throws light on the effect of conducting practice teaching sessions through online mode in enhancing teaching competencies among student teachers. The method adopted for the present study is the Normative Survey method in which the perception of 50 teacher educators were taken into account and samples were selected through random sampling technique. The findings of the study clearly give notions regarding the various online teaching modes adopted by teacher education colleges during COVID19 Pandemic like, Google meet, zoom, slack, Cisco, WebEx, and configurable cloud-based learning management solutions like Moodle, Skype, and big blue button as well as the challenges faced by student-teachers while conducting practice teaching sessions through online mode. Analysis of the data makes it clear that among the selected 7 core teaching skills and their components skills, acquisition of skill of stimulus variation, skill of probing questions and skill of reinforcement were not effective when student- teachers practiced the same through online mode as per the perception of teacher- educators. At the same time, acquisition of skill of introduction, skill of explaining, skill of illustrating with examples and skill of achieving closure were very effective according to the perception of teacher educators.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"10 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139009255","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

E-government growth ambitions do not include administrative simplification, lack of infrastructure and human resource capabilities, there is a mismatch between supply and demand for e-services. the Ineffective government regulations, scarcity of technical skills and exorbitant technological costs. Politicians, civil servants, and all public servants are seen as the actual enemy in these two countries, depriving them of progress and national development. This quantitative study proposed that the Azerbaijan ASAN service model be adopted as an alternative public services reform approach for reimagining Nigerian and Sudanese public services sectors. The findings indicate that Strongly Agree (n=3). Agree (N=21) contradicted disagreed (n=17) and strongly disagree (n=9). To summarize, n=25 respondents genuinely disagree that people in their country were aware of e-government services, which runs counter to (n=24). This result showed that almost everyone who participated in the survey agreed and recognized the value of using the Azerbaijan ASAN services model to make it easier for residents to receive government services in a corrupt-free digital environment. In conclusion, the adoption of e-Government services that are more advantageous, user-friendly, effective, and efficient may be significantly impacted by the study's findings, in our opinion. We recommend that the government to adopt and provide electronic services like ASAN service E-government of Azerbaijan.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"42 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139007232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Vitro experiments are presented whereby cells isolation by air bubbles could interfere with chemotherapy treatments.Methods: Author’s own saliva sample was spitted out onto the center of a clean 25X75x1mm glass slide. The sample was placed and focused on the viewing platform of a video microscope. A toothpick was used to harvest inner cheek cells and gently transfer onto the spitted out sample. After focusing, areas were selected showing floating cells and air bubbles. Different laminar levels were observed by cells migrating at different levels.While microscopically observing the sample, the glass slide was disturbed by finger tapping, the aim to induce bubble bursting.Results: Deformed cells were observed when adhering to the outer surface of air bubbles. Additionally, undeformed cells seen at two distinct perpendicular layers when trapped within the floating bubbles. Noticed was a selective attraction of cells by the outer edge of the floating bubbles. Cells attached to the bubble’s edge were being deformed and attracted to each other. Cells were also observed passing unattracted when in a separate laminar flow under the floating bubble. The provocative tapping causing air bubbles to cavitate and burst.Conclusions: The bursting of an air bubble is not the only factor in floating eukaryotic cells deformation. In this manuscript video microscopy and still images are introduced demonstrating a newly found horizontal flat parallel energy field in the periphery of the oxygen bubble. This energy is evident in the free-floating air bubble interface as cheek eukaryotic cells adhere only to the flat round edge of a bubble. Cells are attracted, adhered to each other, and deformed by their own intrinsic attraction. Once the bubble bursts, cells and debris are dispersed, with cells adherence partially disturbed. Cell deformations persisting. It could be hypothesized that cancer cells trapped at different laminar layers inside the bubble be refractory to external chemotherapy agents thus retaining their cancer characteristics.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"52 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138602180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is therefore the tool of communication in both official and non official contexts.For instance, Taifa Leo newspaper presents environmental information to readers in Kiswahili. This means that many people who can read have access to news on environment. The environment is a cross-cutting and sensitive issue nationally and internationally. Environment affects the life of every creature on a daily basis in one way or another. The print media, the Taifa Leo included, which has been tasked with informing the public about the world's environmental issues, ought to do so in a way that will enable people to understand the importance of the environment and thus interact with it in a positive way. This argument stems from the belief that a person values and cares for what he or she understands. This study therefore aims to determine whether the choice of language in conveying environmental information in the Taifa Leo newspaper contributes to how the audience understands the information and ultimately the behaviours generated by that understanding. This study analysed the language features selected by journalists in reporting on environmental news in the Taifa Leo newspaper to ascertain if the choice of language contributes to the reporting of intended environmental issues and finally to explain whether the choice of language elements has any relationship with the meaning of information emerging from the environmental news.This study was conducted in a library where environmental discourse was analysed. Taifa Leo newspapers published from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected purposively, by extracting texts from the selected newspaper that had environmental information. Data was analysed based on language used in presentation of environmental information in selected texts from Taifa Leo newspapers.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"109 28","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135138424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
