In this paper, we proposed a novel QoE model with test samples and methods for video streaming service on mobile internet. This model consists of two key points: one is a whole QoE structure composing of some individual video streaming QoE indicators and their parameter ranges adapted to the mobile Internet environment and smaller-size handheld terminals, the other one is the procedure of test samples generation and the subjective assessments based on the proposed QoE model. This includes the license-exempt access to TV White Spaces (TVWS) as defined in IEEE 802.22 standards for Wireless Regional Area Network (WRAN). In our previous studies [12], a simulation model based on the existing keep-away region algorithm is first established and verified to explore the potential TVWS resources with the Cognitive Radio technology at any given location in the UK. Then, the newly proposed power control algorithm based on the maximum allowed transmission power is to replace the keep-away region algorithm and improve the availability of a cognitive radio (CR) operation. In this paper, both of these two algorithms' performances are evaluated and compared with the results obtained from Digital UK [13] and a third-party company Wolfbane [14]. Finally, the correctness of the proposed power-control algorithm is validated and proved to have a better performance than the traditional keep-away region algorithm in terms of numbers of available channels. With the rapid development of general purpose processor (GPP), SDR based on GPP (GPP-SDR) attracts more and more developers' attention. Using USB 2.0 as the data and control interface between RF front end and personal computer (PC) further increases the flexibility of GPP-SDR systems. In this paper, we focus on the application and capability of USB2.0 and investigate the possibility of using USB 2.0 as data interface for SDR systems. According to the experiments, USB 2.0 can achieve peak data rate up to 320Mbps under Windows OS. Furthermore, the round-trip data transfer latency is measured and proved to be low enough to support TD-SCDMA. An unconstrained adaptive algorithm is first derived and then the case with signal transmission power constraint for each individual relay node is considered. However, due to increasing cognition information, it is an interesting problem to achieve optimal strategies in numbers of adjustable parameters for relatively wide adjustable capacity in resource management of wireless cognitive networks. In this paper, an intelligent decision strategy with learning-reasoning mechanism and decision-evaluation process is proposed to classify, select and optimize the large adjustable parameters for network traffic end-to-end QoS requirements in wireless cognitive networks. Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm and Fuzzy Decision Making are introduced in learning-reasoning strategy to abstract cognition information to “knowledge”, and save the “knowledge” into history-case database. Complex Combinatorial Optimization Probability method is used in decision-evaluation process to search for optimal solution of resource management in wireless cognitive networks. Previous research on router security is mostly about the technology of exploiting known flaws of routers. Fuzzing is a famous automated vulnerability finding technology, however, traditional Fuzzing tools are designed for testing network applications or other software. These tools are not or partly not suitable for testing routers. This paper designs a framework of discovering router protocol vulnerabilities, and proposes a mathematical model Two-stage Fuzzing Test Cases Generator (TFTCG) that improves previous methods to generate test cases. We have developed a tool called RPFuzzer based on TFTCG. RPFuzzer monitors routers by sending normal packets, keeping watch on CPU utilization and checking system logs, which can detect DoS, router reboot and so on. RPFuzzer'debugger based on modified Dynamips, which can record register values when an exception occurs. Finally, we experiment on the SNMP protocol, find 8 vulnerabilities,of which there are five unreleased vulnerabilities. However, it is hard to achieve the balance of cell-edge and cell-center user throughput in practice as all base stations (BS) are configured with static transmission power for each sub-band in traditional FFR. To solve this problem, a gradient projection based self-optimizing (GPB-SO) algorithm for ICIC is proposed to adjust transmission power of each sub-bands set by exchanging the gradient direction information, aiming to maximize the overall network utility. Furthermore, a closed-form of gradient direction is attained to update the transmission power of each BS in a distributed manner. But the efficient trust chain is required during boot and whole system running time. This paper describes a transitive trust model for mobile terminal. We propose a static trust chain by locating boot-code and OS image into TCB, which is more safety, reliability and efficiency than the trust structure of TCG. After boot, resources are protected by Trusted Agents (TA). Based on this mechanism, dynamic trust chain is proposed. Only the processes granted trust property by TA could access specific resources. The authors have also developed a prototype of trusted mobile terminal system. System booting time is shortened by 5.2s. The experiment results of files and network accessing indicate that the proposed model may cause system performance decrease between 0.1% and 16%.
