Lesions are classied on CT as benign or malignant\u0000based on bowel wall characteristics of wall thickening and staging is done in case of colorectal carcinoma. The ndings are then compared with the\u0000histopathological diagnosis. Results- Overall, CT had a sensitivity of 94.9%, specicity of 93.8%, Positive Predictive Value of 97.4% and a\u0000Negative Predictive Value of 88.2% in the diagnosis of malignant lesions. Accuracy of CT in diagnosing malignant lesions is 94.5%. Positive\u0000likelihood ratio is 15.2. and negative likelihood ratio is 0.05.CT is an excellent modality for tumour (T) staging in colorectal malignancy, as per our\u0000study, K=0.806 (excellent agreement).CT, though not highly accurate, can be used for lymph nodal (N) staging in colorectal malignancy, as per our\u0000study, K= 0.213 (fair agreement). Conclusion- Due to its high sensitivity and specicity, MDCT is an excellent modality in the diagnosis and\u0000differentiation of benign and malignant lesions of the colon and rectum,.It offers early detection of colorectal malignancy, provides staging of\u0000malignancies, helps in detection of metastasis, thereby aiding in the choice of treatment strategy. Hormonal\u0000alterations leading to post-traumatic pituitary dysfunction (PTPD) usually become apparent in the rst hours or days after TBI.In this study, we\u0000focused on the prevalence of anterior and posterior pituitary hormonal alterations in the acute and chronic post-TBI period in adults. Material &\u0000Method: The study design is a prospective study done in RIMS, Ranchi from March 2021-March 2023. Patients of TBI who were fullling our\u0000inclusion criteria were randomly selected. All pituitary hormonal assessmentwas done both in the acute phase (within 14 days of post-TBI) and\u0000chronic phase (1 month, 3 months & 6 months post-TBI). The outcome of patients was analyzed by Modied Rankin Scale. Result: Mean ± SD\u0000(range) age at the time of TBI in the 80 patients (62 Male:18 Female) was 40.24 ± 16.77 (18-65) years with moderate TBI (GCS 9-12) in 59\u0000(73.75%) and severe TBI (GCS < 8) in 29 (36.25%). Hypothyroidism was seen in 5% and hypogonadism in 2.5% of study population.
