Nearly 3.5 million babies in India are born too early, 1.7 million babies are born with birth defects, and one million new-borns are discharged each year from Special New-born Care Units. These new-borns remain at high risk of death, stunting and developmental delay.\u0000Objectives: This study was aimed to assess factors leading to admission of newborns to Neonatal Intensive care Unit, their outcome and predictors for neonatal mortality.\u0000Methods: Quantitative- retrospective survey method was adopted for the study. The data was retrieved from the records of 440 babies admitted at Shree Sardar Smarak Hospital, Bardoli from 1st February, 2022 to 31st January, 2023.\u0000Results: The majority 260(59.1%) of babies admitted were delivered by primi mothers, 406(92.3%) were term at the time of delivery, 218 (49.5%) were delivered through normal vaginal delivery & 234(53.2%) babies were male. LBW (20%) which ranged from 900 gm to 2200 gm was the most common and tachypnea (0.5%) was the least common reason for admission. Concerning to neonatal outcome, majority 426 (96.81%) babies survived and 14 (3.18%) were not able to survive. The crude odds ratio with a 95% confidence interval (CI) and p-value <0.05, showed that age of mother, parity, gestational age at the time of delivery and mode of delivery were significantly related with neonatal survival status.\u0000Conclusion: Understanding the reasons for admission to NICU and predictors for neonatal mortality is significant for planning health services, improving the quality of care and reducing neonatal mortality rate.\u0000\u0000Keywords: Factors leading, NICU admission, neonatal outcome, predictors

The pain and fatigue in turn causes them to adopt improper movement techniques and can lead to injuries which is one of the main factors that leads to short lived dance careers.\u0000Aim: The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of musculoskeletal pain and fatigue among amateur hip hop dancers.\u0000Method: A cross sectional survey study was used. A purposive sample method composed of 103 amateur hip hop dancers between the ages of 10 to 30 years in and around Kerala. The outcome measures used were Modified Nordic Questionnaire for assessing musculoskeletal pain and Fatigue Assessment Scale for assessing the fatigue.\u0000Result: 70 people (67.9%) experienced musculoskeletal pain during the last 3 and 6 months. 34 (33%) people experienced low back pain, 25 people experienced neck pain (24.2%), 22 (21.3%) people have had pain in their wrist/hands, 18 people (17.4%) have had pain in their shoulder and ankle/feet, knee pain was felt by 17 (16.5) people. Malaria infection spreads through mosquito bites from infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. This study aims to apply mapping technologies to investigate the spatial distribution of malaria cases and incidence in Vietnam.\u0000Materials and Methods: Malaria cases in 2019 were first collected from the websites of the Vietnam Ministry of Health (VMH). The incidence of malaria will be then computed. The histogram is employed to study the distribution of malaria cases and incidence. Mapping technologies is then used to study the spatial distribution of malaria cases and incidence. In addition, a scatter plot is also used to investigate the relationship between population density and the incidence of malaria. Finally, results and findings will be discussed and summarised.\u0000Results: the study results showed that the highest rate of malaria infection was detected in Gia Lai, followed by Phu Yen, Dak Lak, and Binh Phuoc. Areas of high malaria infection rates were mainly concentrated in rural areas in the south-central region having with high vegetation coverage. Whereas, areas with no or low malaria infection rates were mainly concentrated in urban areas in the northeastern and southeastern regions of Vietnam. In addition, there was a negative correlation between population density and the incidence of malaria.\u0000Conclusion: It can be concluded that the combination of histograms, mapping technologies and a scatter plot prove their effectiveness in the study of malaria. The study focuses on five elderly, aged 65 and above, residing in an elderly orphanage in Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection involved in-depth interviews guided by considerations of spiritual, social, psychological, and physical aspects. The analysis reveals multifaceted dimensions of psychological readiness among these elderly residents.\u0000The informants emphasize the importance of acknowledging the inevitability of death as a fundamental aspect of their life journey, providing them with a unique perspective on mortality. They find meaning in their lives, fostering a sense of fulfillment and completeness, and contemplate the possibility of an afterlife, which offers comfort and solace. Importantly, they express a remarkable lack of fear when facing death, demonstrating a profound acceptance and equanimity. Religious and spiritual practices, particularly worship, play a pivotal role in providing comfort and tranquility.\u0000This study's findings align with previous research and highlight the significance of life satisfaction, spirituality, and social connections in shaping elderly individuals' readiness to confront death.
