Wet gases occupy an important place among VER. Deep utilization of the heat of wet gases in condensing heat exchangers (CTU) can significantly improve the efficiency of thermal installations and obtain a number of advantages in their operation. In addition, the topic is very convenient for the design and selection of utilizers, as the existing models of deep utilization of secondary energy resources are considered.","PeriodicalId":142369,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (REEPE)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114826716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some known insulation aging mathematical models are described. Since these models use partial discharges power dependence on voltage, it is studied. Experimental research of partial discharges characteristics dependence is performed. The 10 kV single core XLPE-insulated cable termination defect is used as a source of partial discharges. PD characteristics were measured in the range from 8 to 15 kV. The obtained results showed a presence of a harmful defect in the cable. PD at 8 kV were found insufficient. However, 10 kV voltage caused the occurrence of considerable partial discharges. PD at 15 kV had the most destructive effect on the insulating material. The obtained PD power voltage dependence curve correlates with the known research results. However, the obtained characteristic can change in time because of the defect growth, so this process has to be further studied.","PeriodicalId":142369,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (REEPE)","volume":"374 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114881098","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, this work presents a fast algorithm dependent on wavelet transform to differentiate a power swing from any fault that may occur in series compensated transmission lines. In this algorithm, the Piecewise Linear Spline Wavelet is used to analyze current/voltage waveforms into distinctive levels of frequencies. The eighth level of the single-phase current signal is used to identify power swing and thus to block the operation of the distance relay, whereas the first levels of the three-phase voltage signals are used to identify any fault case even in the presence of power swing, and thus to deblock the distance relay. To assess the efficacy of the presented algorithm, lots events of faults and power swings are examined on a test system modeled in MATLAB/Simulink. The results prove the advantages of the presented algorithm in terms of speed, reliability and efficiency.","PeriodicalId":142369,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (REEPE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114724338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each load is characterized by a different consumption of active and reactive power, depending on the voltage supplied to the load, which also leads to changes in the operating parameters in the network. Thus, when studying the modes of operation of the electric power system, it is necessary to take into account the static characteristics of the load. The results of the comparison of the equations obtained statical characteristics of consumer model it was shown that the introduction of energy saving technologies and the use of modern types of power receiving devices leads to the necessity of changing the equation model of statical characteristics of consumer. Under this condition, the power-voltage curve of SPVS contains one global and some local maximum power points. Traditional trackers like perturb and observe cannot extract the global maximum point. Therefore, to enhance PV system efficacy, mitigation of partial shading condition must be solved. Conventional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques are normally employed for maximizing the SPVS output power continuously under uniform solar irradiance without any problems. The main disadvantage of these techniques is failing extraction of global MPP under shadowing condition. This paper presents a performance of global MPPT based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The obtained results are compared with incremental resistance method. The results confirmed that PSO based tracker guarantee convergence to the global MPP under different partial shading patterns and they have the best performance in comparison with the conventional ones.","PeriodicalId":142369,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (REEPE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129963705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most applications focus on consecutive time periods with no seasonal variations. This study relies on a black box method to predict the heat demand profile for a single story building based on data from different seasons. The models produced satisfying results. The Neural Networks (NN) models in general, produced higher accuracy, however, at higher computational cost compared to the Support Vector Regression (SVR) models. The multi-hidden layer NN's led to over fitting and deficiency. When the target variable is near constant, the prediction accuracy of the models substantially decreases. The input temperature profiles have higher influence on the accuracy of the prediction, up to 6 times maximum, in comparison of the other variables.","PeriodicalId":142369,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (REEPE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121839152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
