We have considered a new scheme of the tightly coupled strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) and global navigation satellite system (GNSS), which is based on combined use of the optimal Kalman filter (OKF) and ordinary least squares (OLS) method. With the development of wind power plants and the development of a standard list of measures for the technological connection of wind power plants to the facilities of the electric grid, it is necessary to study the influence of the wind power plants on indicators of power quality, reliability, stability and operation modes of the power system. All methods that used to improve the power quality with wind stations are presented and discussed in this paper. The values of the Romberg test were analyzed according to the following stabilometric parameters: the average position of the pressure center, the area of the statokinesiogram, the LFS coefficient, the Romberg coefficient. Statistical analysis of the results in MS Excel allowed confirming the normal distribution law of the studied parameters. The fuzzy classification into categories pathology, cerebral palsy, deviations, and norm produced based on the results of the Romberg test is developed. A system of formulas is proposed for processing the results of experimental studies of the effectiveness of stabilometric tests. Furthermore, the optimal design of this system was conducted based on real-time meteorological data of Ataka area, Egypt. Minimizing the cost of energy (COE) delivered from the proposed system is the essential goal of addressed optimization problem. In addition, statistical measurements based on various metrics has been studied to validate the accuracy of developed Rao optimization technique. Moreover, the simulation results obtained from the developed technique are compared with other recent optimization techniques. Finally, from the obtained simulation results, the developed technique proved effectiveness as a good competitor to other optimization techniques in optimal sizing of grid-connected hybrid system. At the same time, there is a lack of unequivocal recommendations on the choice of installation locations for a wind turbines. In this regard, there are some difficulties in formulating criteria for choosing the location of installation of wind farms, taking into account not only climatic, but also technical parameters of electric power systems, for example voltage value in the nodes of the electric power system. The paper presents that the installation of wind farms in the nodes of the electric power system can increase their rigidity, thereby contributing to increment of wind farms efficiency. Also, representation method of the load influences the calculation results, which confirms the need of consumer's actual statical characteristics application. In this paper, modelling and simulation of the Iraqi 400 kV super grid has been provided. The model introduced in this paper and all performed studies are considered as the first step in the way towards grid assessment for increasing the penetration of photovoltaic generation in Iraq. In addition, this paper provided load flow study, transient stability cases, modal/eigenvalues calculation, and short circuit impacts on the generating units in the power system. An important role in solving these problems is played by the training process for students and employees of enterprises, which allows simulating the operation of real equipment. Volzhsky branch of Moscow Power Engeneering Institute (MPEI) developed simulators for studying the combination of alternative and renewable sources of electric and thermal energy and a training complex for means of control, automatic regulation and technological protection. The field equipment promotes to visually demonstrate functioning of existing equipment to students, including during laboratory work. The withdrawal of equipment to all modes is not possible for technological reasons and due to the random nature of weather conditions. The simulator of a geothermal heat pump was developed based on the mathematical models of the geothermal heat pump system elements. Electrodynamic modeling of the developed feed was carried out, its characteristics were optimized to maximize reflector antenna efficiency. A feed prototype was manufactured, its characteristics were measured. The proposed feed design based on a coaxial structure allows to expand functionality of reflector antennas by adding the feed operating ranges to existing systems. With the growth of the technical capabilities of the receiving and transmitting parts of antenna's systems - an expansion of working bands or an addion other frequency ranges to the existing feeds of the reflector antennas are quite an urgent task.
