Abstract

The problems of determining fractional-polynomial relationships between parameters of Electric Power Systems (EPS) mode and those of its equivalent circuit have been considered. These relationships are intended to optimize static modes in electric power systems while estimating one or more quality criteria. Various algorithms for constants determination included in fractional-polynomial relationships have been established. The best results have been obtained based on an algorithm using the principle of repeated measurements with saving in computational time compared to other methods. The proposed method is implemented on IEEE standard 14and 30 bus systems as a test system using MATPOWER package.
