Time sharing switching scheme is used to generate the gating pulses for switching devices. This scheme is more flexible as it provides wide range and choice of input sources. Instead of using two single input converters for different power supplies, the use of a dual input SEPIC reduces the cost and losses. The results of output characteristics of the converter are satisfactorily in match with theoritical values. Number of inputs can be extentended for any `n' values, thereby making it suitable for renewable energy applications. Simple and low cost zero- ripple filter technique at the load is suggested as a future scope of this work.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"452 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116069331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is reported that during life cycle of transformer, paper and pressboard insulation undergo deterioration because of increase in sulphur content in transformer oil. The reactive sulphur which forms copper sulfide and its deposition in paper-oil insulation system of in-service transformers results in degradation of insulation. The paper covered copper conductors (PCCC) in such oil medium leads to insulation failure. This paper presents tanδ behavior of insulation property of PCCC in transformer oil with reference to formation and migration of Mercaptans sulfur with online tanδ measurements.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115460644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here modular multilevel inverter is used as an interface between photovoltaic panel and grid. Modular multilevel inverters has been increased in the recent years due to its advantages such as better harmonic profile, reduced EMI, staircase waveform. This phase disposition pulse width modulation is based on selective virtual loop mapping method to achieve capacitor voltage balance in lower and upper arms of MMI. The concept of virtual submodule is established first, by changing the mapping routines between virtual submodules and real sub modules, the capacitor voltages of the upper/lower arms capacitors can be well balanced. This method does not require sorting of voltages from highest to lowest, it just picks the MIN and MAX capacitor voltages of sub modules. The percentage THD values of the multilevel inverter are analyzed by using PI control scheme and Fuzzy Logic Control scheme. Simulation has been carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125279161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The act of knowledge discovery from the data streams under notion adaption is a significant act to achieve the conventional learning of the streaming data. The concept drift for conventional learning of streaming data can be done under set of notions that can be either static or dynamic. Due to the large scope of concept drift that spanned to different domain contexts of data streaming, the existing models are partially or fully not generalized and compatible to different streaming and notion change context. In this context, this paper presents the review of these models that includes nomenclature of mining streaming data and notion evolution in concept drift adoption strategies.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128157466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several network simulators are utilized to analyze the performance of the network. Among them NS3 is currently trending network simulator and it is an open source library package developed using C++ and Python languages. Various new modules are being incorporated in NS3 as part of the development. The modules of NS3 are classified based on the dependent layers of the TCP/IP stack. The inclusion of new modules and new files into the modules could be carried out using certain simple and easy steps which are discussed in the paper. As a case study, authors of the paper consider Multi-radio multi-channel (MRMC) WMN to analyze the working of NS3 as it is the hotbed of research. For simplicity, the channels assigned to the radios of nodes in WMN are static. The performance of simulation is conducted with respect to throughput and delay. The results show that the performance of MRMC WMN is better than single radio single channel WMN.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124950205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It considers the unique patterns of the iris to identify personnel by applying pattern recognition techniques. As the usage of iris recognition system increases, the number of iris code to be stored and retrieved for matching in large database of irises increases proportionally. Searching for the iris match in a huge database of iris templates poses challenges to research community in terms of retrieval accuracy and efficiency. The non-homogenous K-d tree structure used in the proposed model stores and matches iris code, which improves the search accuracy of the iris recognition system. Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is one of such important wireless communication network. The open medium and wide distribution of node makes MANET vulnerable to malicious attacks. It demands for more secure intrusion detection system. The EAACK intrusion detection system solves the limitations of receiver collision, limited transmission power and false misbehavior report in earlier system. EAACK makes use of DSR routing protocol for network of small scale. However, as the network size increases and due to dynamic environment, performance of DSR protocol affects. Hence the evaluation of EAACK using DSR and AODV routing protocols in MANET is proposed. Results show that AODV performs better for the performance metrics Packet Delivery Ratio, Packet Loss Ratio and Throughput.","PeriodicalId":140556,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Emerging Research in Electronics, Computer Science and Technology (ICERECT)","volume":"160 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123263477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
