Abstract

The main aim of the biomedical signal processing is to extract information from a biological signal. Biomedical Signal Processing begins with the temporal record of the biological event of interest. Correlators give the Statistical Relationship between the two random variables or two sets of data. Correlations are useful because they can indicate a predictive relationship that can be exploited in practice. Correlator is designed with a basic principle of morphological operator Erosion and Dilation. Distortions present in the ECG signal can be avoided with the help of morphological operators.
