Shrikhand is a traditional Indian sweet popular in western Indian states of Maharashtra & Gujarat. Sweet is a special component of Indian food. High intake of sweet can lead to various health problems. Thus, people are now more conscious about eating sweets. Diabetic and obese people are restricted to have sweets. Thus, it is the concept of making sweet available to generic population in a healthy form. The developed Aloe Shrikhand is rich in protein. It contains 50% less sugar than the product available in market. It also contains Aloe vera pulp that has added nutritional benefits. It was formulated and analysed for its physical, biochemical and sensory properties. The nutritional properties were determined on the basis of physiochemical characterization such as moisture content (49.8%), ash content (0.76%), total fats 7.72g /100g, Carbohydrates 20g/100g, protein (20g/100g) along with microbial testing. Organoleptic analysis based on the attributes of colour, favour, texture, taste, and odour showed that the product was liked very much (Hedonic rating 8) by the panelist. A suitable packaging of the product was selected taking into considerations the properties of the product and shelf life study was carried out and observed that the product has shelf life of 15 days from the date of manufacture. Thus, it can be a healthier alternative for the sweet Shrikhand available in the market and can be included in diet.","PeriodicalId":14043,"journal":{"name":"International journal of home science","volume":"53 1-2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140517275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It increases the risk of insulin resistance (IR), type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. It seems to be a familial genetic syndrome caused by a combination of environmental and genetic factors. It can be linked with metabolic disorders in first-degree family members. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the causes of up 30% of infertility in couples seeking treatment. Despite the growing incidence of this syndrome, limited research has been done that encompasses the entirety of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) spectrum. Women with PCOS produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones. This hormone imbalance causes them to skip menstrual periods and makes it harder for them to get pregnant. PCOS also causes hair growth on the face and body, and baldness . A total of 60 respondents were interviewed and were interviewed and were investigated for Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).A predesigned and pretested was used to collect the information about the participants. For the research survey method was used for the collection of data. Results shows that mostly 95 (%) respondents were aware of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and 5 (%) respondents were not aware of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The teacher’s personal qualities and her enthusiasm and passion for children are more important for quality programmes. The flexibility and facilities provided by school management are also important for the teacher to provide quality education to children. The present study was conducted to assess the competencies of early childhood educators according to their personal variables and type of school they are working. The study sample were 120 pre-school teachers (60 Government and 60 Private teachers), selected from six ICDS project areas of Bangalore, Karnataka state using stratified random sampling technique. Self-Evaluation Checklist developed specially for ECE educators was used. Results revealed that the pre-school teachers differed significantly in their competencies according to their age, marital status and type of family. The sample teachers also differed significantly in their competency scores according to type of school they are working.","PeriodicalId":14043,"journal":{"name":"International journal of home science","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74101286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a part of the biliary system, also known as the biliary tree or biliary tract. The biliary system is a series of ducts within the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas that empty into the small intestine. There are intrahepatic (within the liver) and extra hepatic (outside of the liver) components. The gallbladder is a component of the extra hepatic biliary system where bile is stored and concentrated. Bile is a fluid formed in the liver that is essential for digesting fats, excreting cholesterol, and even possesses antimicrobial activity. The gallbladder lies in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen affixed to the undersurface of the liver at the gallbladder fossa. It is attached to the rest of the extra hepatic biliary system via the cystic duct. The liver produces bile that is drained into the gallbladder and stored until needed for digestion.
