Bu amacla 4’er adet eriskin Denizli horozu ve tavugu ile disi ve erkek sulunlerden alinan sirinksler materyal olarak kullanildi. Denizli horozunda kollagen fibrillerin Lateral Timpanik Membran lamina propriasindan submukozaya dogru genis bir alanda kalin demetler halinde oldugu; ozellikle tunika serozaya yakin submukozada cok daha siki bicimde yerlesim gosterdikleri saptandi. Medial Timpanik Membran lamina propriasinda kollagen fibrillere nazaran daha genis bir alanda kalin fibriller seklinde yerlesim gosteren elastik fibrillerin Denizli tavugunda submukozaya dogru daha yogun bicimde duzenlendikleri gozlendi. Because of the fact that it is crucial for protecting health. A feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of natural additives such as live yeast culture Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SC) and microalgae Spirulina platensis (SP) on the glutathione and leukocytes counts of rabbits. Forty male New Zealand white rabbits, aged 5-6 weeks, were studied in 4 groups. Treatments were control group, SC (added 3 g/kg diet), SP (added 5% of the diet) and, SC and SP (added 3 g/kg diet and added 5% of the diet) respectively. The experiment lasted for 90 days and the blood samples were obtained by ear venipuncture on the 90th day. In conclusion, according to the results of this study, although not statistically significant, supplementing rabbit with S. cerevisiae or S. platensis had increased on glutathione values. Glutathione tend to be positively correlated with the addition of SC or SP. No significant difference in white blood cell counts was evidenced, even if lymphocyte counts tended to increase and neutrophil counts to decrease in rabbits fed SC or SC+SP. Calisma materyali olarak 7 haftalik 40 adet BALC/c soyu disi fare kullanildi. Fareler, rastgele dort gruba ayrilarak, kontrol grubuna, 0.2 ml serum fizyolojik enjekte edildi. Diger uc gruba subkutan yolla sirasiyla 2.5; 5 ve 7.5 I. U. PMSG hormonu verildi. PMSG injeksiyonunu izleyen 48'inci saatte, deney gruplarina, PMSG'nin artan dozuna paralel olarak, gruplara sirasiyla 2.5; 5 ve 7.5 I. U. hCG, kontrol grubuna ise 0.2 ml serum fizyolojik subkutan yolla enjekte edildi. Anestezi altinda alinan ve tespit edilen ovaryumlara rutin histolojik metodlar uygulanarak; ovaryum follikullerinin ve corpus luteumlarin sayilmasi icin Crossmon’in uclu boyama teknigi uygulandi. Calismamizda 3 farkli dozda yapmis oldugumuz uygulamalarda tum deney gruplarinda follikuler gelisimin kontrole oranla daha fazla oldugu goruldu. Gelisen follikul sayisinin I. deney grubunda en cok oldugu sirasiyla III. ve II. deney grubu ile en az kontrol grubunda oldugu saptandi. Ovulasyon acisindan korpus luteumlar degerlendirildiginde en cok III. deney grubu sirasiyla II. ve I. deney gruplari bulunurken en az kontrol grubunda oldugu goruldu. Uygulanan protokollerin hepsinde kullanilan gonadotropin dozuna bagli olarak follikuler gelisimin ve ovulasyonun arttigi saptandi. Sonuc olarak; calismada en cok korpus luteum olusumunun saptandigi III. deney grubunun (7.5 I.U. Veri 2011 ve 2013 yillari arasinda buzagilayan 306 bas Holstein ve 276 bas Jersey olmak uzere toplam 582 bas sut sigirindan olusmaktadir. Bu calismada hayvanlar, ciftlik kayitlarina bagli olarak DGAT1 geni icin genotiplenen hayvanlar arasindan belirlenip secilmistir. Jersey ineklerinde buzagilama yili, yag verimi haric test gunu sut verimi (TGSV), 305 gun sut verimi (305 GSV, yag orani, protein orani ve protein verimi uzerine etkili olmustur. Holstein ineklerinde ise TGSV, 305 GSV, yag orani, yag verimi, protein orani ve protein verimi uzerine buzagilama yilinin etkisi istatistiki olarak onemli bulunmustur. Akarla mucadelede sentetik ve organik bilesikler iceren bircok akarisit kullanilmaktadir. Bu calisma, dogal enfeste bal arisi kolonilerinde birbirini izleyen iki sonbahar sezonunda, uc sentetik akarisitin etkinligini belirlemek amaciyla yapilmistir. Sekizer kovandan olusan deneme gruplarindaki akarisitler kumafos (sivi ve plastik serit), amitraz (duman ve plastik serit) ve flumetrinin (plastik ve ahsap serit) ticari preparatlarindan, bir grup da kontrol olmak uzere toplam 56 kovandan olusmaktadir. Varroa enfestasyon seviyeleri homojen olarak duzenlenmis koloni gruplarina, birbirini izleyen iki sonbahar sezonu boyunca tum ilaclar onerildigi sekilde uygulanmistir. Ilaclarin etkinlikleri, pudra sekeri yontemiyle elde edilip toplanan akarlarin yuzdesine dayanan Henderson-Tilton’un formulu vasitasiyla hesaplanmistir. Kovanlarin tabaninda blunan polen cekmecelerine dusen akar sayilari da istatistiki olarak degerlendirilerek ilaclar kendi aralarinda karsilastirilmistir. Alinan sonuclarin formule uygulanmasiyla ortalama %90’in uzerinde etkili olan ilaclar sirasiyla amitraz plastik serit (%98,5), flumetrin ahsap serit (%96,5) ve kumafos plastik serit (% 93,2) olarak bulunmustur. Amitraz dumani ise diger ilaclarla ve kontrol grubuyla karsilastirildiginda etkisiz bulunmustur. During 2015, a total of 86 samples including 43 coffee (30 instant coffee and 13 roasted coffee), 17 dried grapes and 26 grape pekmez were randomly collected from different markets of Burdur. The occurrence and contamination levels of OTA in the samples were investigated by the competitive enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA) method. OTA was detected in 24 (55 %) coffee samples (13 roasted coffee and 11 instant coffee samples) and in 1 (3 %) grape pekmez samples. The range OTA levels were 8.34 and 22.54 μg/kg in coffee samples and 20.48 μg/kg in one grape pekmez sample, respectively. The highest recorded OTA concentration was 22.54 μg/kg in instant coffee. Furthermore, 13 roasted coffee, 11 instant coffee and 1 grape pekmez samples were contaminated at levels above the Turkish legal limits of 5 μg/kg,10 μg/kg and 2 μg/kg, respectively. In contrast, OTA was not detected in all dried grape samples. Turkeys slaughtered at the age of 128 days. The females had an average weight of 11.5 kg and the males had 19 kg. We measured 14 features and determined 6 indices on the skulls of turkeys. Our study focused on morphometric differences and comparison of determined features of those skulls for males and female turkeys. Correlations between all features and indices of the skulls were examined for each male and female group, separately. All morphometric measurements were significantly higher in male group. All indices except skull index and foramen magnum index were significantly higher in female group. These measurements showed that males have bigger skulls. Cranial index, facial index, index 1 and index 2 showed that males have narrower and longer skulls while the females have smaller and wider. According to foramen magnum index, foramen magnum of turkeys is slightly vertical oval. Also, ratio of skull length and width is similar for both sexes. This study is the morphometric evaluation of the skull in turkeys. Bu hastalik bakteriyel, protozoon ve viral hastaliklarla birlikte gorulebilir bu durum ari kolonisi sagligini, ari urunlerini ve uretimini olumsuz yonde etkiler.
