The need of home isolation to avoid getting the infection and to avoid its spread, have been associated with fear and other psychological consequences in population of affected countries. Music has demonstrated its positive complementary effect in management and improvement of anxiety, depression, pain and other clinical and social situations associated with negative effects in well-being and quality of life. To date, there are no clinical trials that examine directly the relation between music interventions and improvement of negative emotions for people in quarantine but based on previous research we know that it could be employed as an innocuous and safe complementary intervention to help people to alleviate these feelings. Since the pandemic was declared, musicians have taken different instruments and have even used their own voice to play live music from their balconies or even in the street, showing their solidarity and attempts to encourage their neighbors and other people nearby not to give up against COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":13982,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Family & Community Medicine","volume":"102 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80617403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One Unit blood was transfused pre Abstract Abdominal ectopic pregnancy is a life-threatening condition where the embryo or foetus is growing in the abdominal cavity outside the uterus excluding fallopian tube, ovary or broad ligament. It can be primarily located in the peritoneal cavity or secondary to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy or tubal abortion. We are presentencing here a rare case of advanced abdominal pregnancy (AAP) in a very young women. Very few cases are reported till now and there are no clear cut guidelines regarding management of advanced abdominal pregnancy. This case we received when Covid 19 pandemic was as at its peak, many hospital were shut down by order of government authorities as not having the facility of following covid protocol regarding screening and management and elective surgeries were also abandoned in India. On ultrasound there was a foetus of 22 weeks found in mothers left lumber/left hypochondrium outside the uterine cavity. Her urgent laparotomy was planned as patient may land up in catastrophe any time and managed successfully with good co-ordination and support of various teams from Microbiology, Surgery, Anaesthesia, Obstetrics and Gynaecology departments of Sarojini Naidu Medical College Agra, Uttar Pradesh India. This case report supports the importance of routine antenatal checkups and first trimester ultrasound which was missed by patient that again may be because of lack of awareness and terrific environment because of pandemic. Timely diagnosis and teamwork management also plays important role for such a life-threatening condition to avoid maternal morbidity and mortality.","PeriodicalId":13982,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Family & Community Medicine","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81813511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this survey, we will verify the usefulness of data utilization related to health from the viewpoint of self-management performed by “individuals,” such as persons with disabilities/families. To this end, we will first develop and evaluate onset/exacerbation algorithms in normal times using biometric information sensors and environmental sensors. Next, assuming an emergency with health risks, we will verify them by measuring their changes. In addition to a qualitative survey, we will propose “matters necessary for preparation for normal times” from the parties’ perspective. Through these, we will explore the advantages of utilizing data for both individuals and groups, such as enriching outcome information from the patients/ parties’ views, and obtaining data that contributes to evidence-based medicine (EBM).","PeriodicalId":13982,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Family & Community Medicine","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78906592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its signs and symptoms are produced by the mass effect, its superinfection or anaphylactic reactions secondary to its rupture. We present the case of a 24-year-old insulin-dependent patient with type I diabetes mellitus, hypertension and diabetic retinopathy with bilateral pulmonary hydatidosis. A cystectomy was performed without complications and a lobectomy that was complicated with admission to the ICU until the death of the patient. Its cause may be idiopathic, traumatic, iatrogenic or infectious. The symptomatology is associated with the size of the aneurysm and thrombosis within, may be asymptomatic or bleeding, meningeal signs, focal deficit, confusion, drowsiness, especially severe headache, which may be coming from the compression of cranial nerves present inside the cavernous sinus with retro-orbital pain or changes in extra ocular motility. Maternal age is a key element to be taken into account when managing obstetric patients, as it is related with obstetric and perinatal outcomes. We conducted a literature review to address the obstetric results of pregnancy in teenage mothers. We reviewed articles for the last 5 years in different databases including ‘Pregnancy’, ‘Teenager’, ‘Adolescent’, ‘Complications’ and ‘Outcomes’ as key words. We obtained 2260 articles after the initial search, but only 28 met the inclusion criteria and were therefore reviewed. Most studies were excluded for not clearly specifying one of more groups of teenage patients, lacking comparison of these groups with no-teenage patients, or not addressing the obstetric outcomes of those pregnancies. The outcomes were divided into complications of pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium and neonatal complications. We found that there is an association between young maternal age and preterm birth, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, fetal growth restriction and stillbirth, among others. For the newborn we found outcomes such as low APGAR scores and admission to intensive care were more frequent in teenage mothers. We conclude that maternal age is an important feature, as there are several obstetric and perinatal compications that are more frequent in teenage mothers than in other age groups.","PeriodicalId":13982,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Family & Community Medicine","volume":"41 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91209119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
