This research uses the Research and Development (R D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 2 expert lecturers to validate guided inquiry-based LKPD, 17 SMP Negeri 3 Lhoknga students, and 2 Physics teachers. Data collection techniques were obtained from teacher interviews, LKP validation sheets, through student questionnaires, and teacher questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis showed that guided inquiry-based LKPD validation on straight-motion material \"was feasible\" in the systematic preparation. LKPD can be used by students as student learning aids. Student responses to guided inquiry-based LKPD obtained a percentage of 85% of students giving agreed responses to LKPD. And the teacher's response to this LKPD was 88%. Based on the results of the research conducted, guided inquiry-based LKPD can already be used in the learning process in the classroom. ","PeriodicalId":138020,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Science Education","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127107521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 4, amounting to 24 people in state senior high school Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires validation media experts, content and learning tools and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the learning device for EduPlasa media is effectively used. This can be seen from the results of the percentage of media rated by experts at 81.5%, the percentage of media content assessed by experts as much as 85% and the responses of students about the media reached 86.68% so that the media can be said to be suitable for use in learning. Development of learning tools for EduPlasa media in the form of learning implementation plans (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD), power points as supporters of interactive media. The results of validation by evaluation experts and practitioners for RPP and LKPD obtained an assessment of 75% so that the learning device met the criteria of valid, practical and effective use.","PeriodicalId":138020,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Science Education","volume":"143 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133760989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this training is to hone the teacher's skills in preparing HOT-based tests and find out the participants' responses to the activities carried out. The stages of community training activities are: coordination of the implementation team with partners and LPPM Unsyiah, preparation of materials, identification of problems by partners, training of teachers, data analysis and reporting of activities. The subject of this training is Physics Teacher at the SMA Negeri 1 Meulaboh. The target of this activity is to equip partner teachers with basic knowledge and experience in developing HOT-based tests, able to properly compile HOT-based physics questions. The outputs produced are (1) service report; (2) HOT question preparation module and (3) Articles that will be published in the Journal. The results of the training activities carried out went well, targets that had been set previously had been achieved well. Physics teachers already have the knowledge to develop HOT-based questions and will continue to develop further. Through the results of the questionnaire analysis the responses of the participants obtained good responses. Where the physics teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Meulaboh felt helped by the existence of this training activity and wanted to be applied in the learning process.","PeriodicalId":138020,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Science Education","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121322410","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The object of the research was the first-level D-III students of Radiology Engineering in the first semester of the 2016/2017 school year who contracted the Basic Physics course. The study was conducted in November 2016. The method used is descriptive method. In this study the CRI Three-Tier Test decision matrix is used to identify student misconceptions. Identification is done by using a structured choice diagnostic test that is equipped with an index of student confidence in the test answers and also equipped with a column of reasons from the answers given by students. To find out the cause of the misconception conducted interviews. The results of CRI diagnostic data analysis showed that of the 37 students who were the object of research it was found that as many as 26.35% did not know the concept (LK), 20.95% knew the concept (KCC) where the students were in accordance with scientific conceptions, 0.51% students guessed LG), 40.88% of students experienced misconceptions (Mis), and 11.32% of answers to students who were not confident (NC). The highest percentage of misconception was found in the sub-principle of ohm's legal concept (41.08%), kirchhoff's legal sub-concept (41.89%) and sub-basic concepts of electric and parallel circuits (40.54%). The results of the interviews showed that the causes of the misconceptions included the character of abstract electrical concepts, lack of understanding of the concept, difficulty analyzing the sequence, and the unpreparedness of students to accept material delivered by the lecturer.","PeriodicalId":138020,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Science Education","volume":"379 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116000931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
