Although the incidence of deliveries in OPP is low, the complications that accompany it have led to the consideration of a series of methods that attempt to favor the rotation of the fetal head and thus improve maternal-fetal outcomes. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the hands-knees and lateral decubitus positions towards the side of the fetal dorsum on the rate of rotation of the fetal head from an occipital posterior position to an occipital anterior (OA) position. Methodology: A bibliographic search has been carried out in different databases such as: Pubmed, Cochrane and Scielo. Results: Numerous studies have been carried out to find out which is the most indicated maternal position to rotate posterior fetal positions, demonstrating the effectiveness of the modified Sims position. For the quadruped position, statistically significant results have been obtained for the specific variable of persistent low back pain, notably reducing it during the first stage of labor. Conclusions: Postural changes have been found to be beneficial in favoring the rotation of the fetal head and descent through the birth canal; they are also simple and inexpensive techniques that help to favor the fit of the fetal head.","PeriodicalId":137638,"journal":{"name":"Enfermería Cuidándote","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115512220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Renal replacement techniques are considered an important technological advance to treat patients with ARF, allowing greater purifying quality and better control of complications and reducing mortality in these patients. Objective: For this reason, the main objective of this study is to analyze the most frequent complications of continuous renal replacement techniques, reviewing the scientific evidence from a nursing point of view in patients hospitalized in an intensive care unit. Method: A bibliographic search was carried out in four Health Sciences databases (PubMed, Elsevier, Ibecs and UpTodate) from which a significant number of valid articles were obtained for the review. Results: A total of 2436 articles were obtained, of which, after the exclusion criteria applied, 14 were selected for review. Conclusions: To guarantee success in continuous renal replacement techniques, it is essential to have a protocol in which the technique of the procedure carried out by the nursing staff must be collected, as well as the care required by patients, and a nursing team excellently trained in knowledge and skills, to be able to face and anticipate any type of complication in this type of therapy.","PeriodicalId":137638,"journal":{"name":"Enfermería Cuidándote","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121936484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: Qualitative, descriptive, phenomenological research. The participants of the study were caregivers of a patient with cancer, taking as inclusion criteria that they had more than 1 year of uninterrupted care of the patient. The information was collected through semi-structured interviews that were recorded and then transcribed word by word. The information saturation criterion was taken into account, at which time the information collection was completed; therefore, 10 interviews were carried out. The data analysis was carried out following the grounded theory in the data, emerging categories and subcategories from the discourse of the study participants; triangulating the data with previous studies and theoretical aspects on the subject. Results: The risk of caregiver stress is related to physiological, emotional, economic aspects and expectations with the recovery of the family member having as a basis the support of the family and the activities performed by them. Conclusions: The risk of caregiver stress was evidenced with greater relevance from the physiological point of view, since most caregivers presented body aches, tiredness and insomnia. From the emotional point of view, the caregivers presented alterations such as sadness, anxiety and from the economic point of view, there were resignations from their work places, their profession and their life projects.","PeriodicalId":137638,"journal":{"name":"Enfermería Cuidándote","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129483767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: Bibliographic searches were carried out in different search engines, highlighting PubMed and Cochrane. These searches were limited to clinical trials and systematic reviews published between 2016-2022. To assess the quality of the evidence, the CASPe and GRADE tools were used. Results: The High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and Non Invasive Mechanical Ventilation (NIMV) present an effectiveness in the prevention of reintubation against COT of RR 0.54 (CI 95% 0.32–0.89) and RR 0.55 (95% CI 0.30 - 1.00) respectively. Regarding post-extubation acute respiratory failure, the values are RR 0.66 (95% CI 0.43 - 1.02) and RR 0.86 (95% CI 0.54 - 1.38), respectively. Conclusion: HFNC and NIMV are significantly superior to COT in preventing reintubation, having both similar effectiveness. On the other hand, HFNC is shown to be slightly superior to NIMV in the prevention of post-extubation acute respiratory failure.
