Water demand is the amount of water needed for household, industrial and other needs. Population Projection is a scientific calculation of population in the future based on assumptions about the components of population growth at a certain level, the results of which will show the characteristics of the population, births, deaths and migration. EPANET is a computer program that provides hydraulic simulations and trends in the quality of water flowing in pipelines. It is the 4th most frequent neoplasm among women in Brazil. Its prevention is carried out in all women from 25 to 64 years old through cytopathological examination of the cervix, based on a screening that allows the detection of lesions and, thus, the early diagnosis of the disease. Objective: To analyze data regarding the coverage of the Pap smear test in women in the state of Pará, Brazil, and the factors related to not performing the test. Methods: Descriptive epidemiological study carried out with data collection from SISCAN and SISCOLO provided by DATASUS. Results: the total sample analyzed was 762,492 patients, among them, the search for disease screening was the main reason for performing it (95.9%); the age group with the highest achievement was 30 to 34 years old (13.33%). In situ and invasive adenocarcinoma subtypes were more prevalent between 40 and 44 years old (18.13% and 20.37%, respectively). Education level was ignored in 98.38%. The test was considered technically satisfactory in 94.71% of the samples and, among them, 39.40% did not have endocervical or metaplastic cells. Conclusion: the Pap test is the best method for tracking and preventing malignant neoplasms of the uterine cervix, directly impacting the epidemiological indices of the disease, due to its early recognition and treatment. {"title":"Evaluating the Dynamics of Capital Structure, Corporate Governance, and Bank Performance: A Case Study of Listed Banks in Ghana","authors":"Winnifred Coleman","doi":"10.22161/ijaers.1010.12","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22161/ijaers.1010.12","url":null,"abstract":"This study explores the interconnections among capital structure, corporate governance, and bank performance in listed banking institutions in Ghana, utilizing a comprehensive scorecard approach to assess corporate governance compliance. We identify a bi-causal link between corporate governance and stock returns, indicating that changes in corporate governance practices lead to subsequent fluctuations in stock returns. As stock returns rise, banks can attract more investors, reducing their debt and leverage (debt to equity ratio) ratios. Regarding capital structure and bank performance, we find no evidence supporting the notion that the equity ratio causes changes in stock returns, but a causal relationship exists in the opposite direction. Stock returns impact the proportion of total assets attributed to equity, as higher returns attract investors, facilitating bank expansion through new share issuance. Furthermore, we detect a bi-directional causality between stock returns and the debt ratio. Lastly, we observe a unidirectional causality where the debt to equity ratio does not cause changes in stock returns, but stock returns influence the debt to equity ratio. Rising stock returns enhance equity value, prompting banks to increase equity at the expense of debt, thus boosting operational funding through retained earnings. This paper takes Huizhou City as an example and conducts a fire risk assessment based on the various conditions of the city using the Gaode big data platform. The analysis shows that the low-risk area within the Fourth Ring Road in Huicheng District is about 91.8%, the medium-risk area is about 6.72%, the secondary high-risk area is about 1.16%, and the high-risk area is about 0.31%. Meanwhile, we use Python code to calculate the decision analysis plan for fire emergency route selection. By collecting data on fire site locations, fire stations, and hospitals, combined with dynamic information such as road conditions and traffic flow, and utilizing the functions of the Gaode big data platform, route calculation and optimal path selection are carried out. These changes can also be measured by, for example, air quality standards in urban centers. The objective of this work is to monitor and analyze the amount of carbon monoxide of vehicular origin due to the burning of non-renewable fuels around the Vaca Brava Park, and to evaluate the consequences that this pollutant brings to the health of the population and to the environment. Park Vaca Brava is in the municipality of Goiânia, has an area of 79,890.63 m2. Samples were taken at three points in the Park, in the main busiest avenues in its surroundings, and the fourth sample was carried out inside the Park to compare the amount of carbon monoxide with the other points. These points were chosen because they present a large volume of people that pass in the place for the practice of physical exercises, and also for having a large agglomeration of vehicle in its surroundings, as a result of the commerce being quite busy in this region, due to this, the traffic vehicle is quite intense. In the period of study carried out in the park, there was a small change of this pollutant in November 2022, February, March and May 2023, in the other months no CO value was detected. It was also observed that the values of carbon monoxide in most of the months studied were not detected by the device. The correlation between both is the subject of studies, since it is possible to analyze the benefits of BF in the prevention of childhood obesity. The aim of the present study was to identify and describe evidence about the correlation between breastfeeding and protection/prevention against childhood obesity. Method: This is a qualitative research with the application of integrative literature review standards, in order to obtain evidence from various types of studies on the researched topic. A search was carried out for scientific articles available in electronic media, published in the last five years, from April to mid-May 2022. Results: 140 articles were found, of which 10 were selected after analysis, according to research criteria. Conclusion: There is a direct relationship between the practice of breastfeeding and the prevention of overweight, especially when the offer is exclusive up to 6 months. This research is expected to be used as one of the references in making decisions to use water efficiently in the Takalar sugar factory's sugarcane plantations. The study used two varieties of sugar cane namely PS. 61 and Q 81. The two varieties were planted at various moisture content levels, namely 25-50%, 50-75%, and 75-100%. The results showed that having 50-75% available water content had a better effect on sugarcane growth during the dry months of September and October. The Q 81 variety is better able to utilize the limited water supply for growth and production.
