Abstract

The gestational diabetes is a complication that occurs during pregnancy characterized by an increase in the glycemic index (increase in blood sugar level) discovered for the first time during pregnancy. Objective: to describe the importance of multidisciplinary care for pregnant women with diabetes. Methodology: this was an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach.
