Multi-physics coupling code is developed using FORTRAN and parallel computing to solve the problems of multi-physics coupling of fluid mechanics, solid pyrolysis, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and chemical kinetics. Simulations are carried out for the proposed design then the results are compared with the classic design of the solid-fuel ramjet. It is found that the proposed design has improved the regression rate significantly; besides, the amount of released solid fuel is increased for the same size. Two widely employed test systems, namely, two-areas and four-areas hydro-thermal power utilities are concerned to validate the efficacy of the suggested method. To enhance the performance of the system, series flexible ac transmission system (FACTS) like thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC) and thyristor controlled phase shifter (TCPS) are considered. The simulation results indicated that the system performance is improved with the inclusion of FACTS devices. The adjustable parameters of the proposed FACTS controllers are optimized using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm employing an Integral of Time multiplied Absolute Error (ITAE) criterion. The investigations showed  that the proposed controller provides better dynamic performance than others from the point of view of settling time, peak over/undershoot. Finally, the sensitivity analysis of the system is inspected by varying the system parameters and operating load conditions from their pre-specified values. It brings new feature to modern power system protection such as high accuracy, low weight, easy installation, and no-saturation. In this paper, a new OFCT is designed and implemented a long with a digital numeric system to protect electrical-feeder from over-current due to faults. Both the optical sensing head and electronic processing block are illustrated. A detailed experimental study to confirm the performances of the device is also reported. According to the measured values of ac rms current up to 2 kA, a calibration procedure was performed. The operational characteristics of the OFCT are investigated and three different scenarios based on Prototype were carried-out to evaluate the operation of the over-current protection using OFCT. In these types of networks the solution can be obtained by what is known as general solution of free datum networks. Actually, the datum in free networks is defined by additional datum constraints to solve the problem of singularity of the normal equations matrix. To solve the problem of datum defect, the unknown parameters of the datum are required to be fixed. These constraints can be established for a part or all points of the network to define the reference frame of the control network in several ways. The adjustment obtained using full datum constraints is called free or relative datum adjustment. In this research, the various forms of datum constraints are established and investigated in order to distinguish between them. More than one solution models applied individually as different cases to be compared with others. Conclusions drawn that the optimum solution with minimum norm and minimum trace is that the general solution using full constraints matrix, it gives the same coordinate differences obtained by others. Then it can be widely used in solution of survey control networks used in many types of networks such as these applied in deformation monitoring field.  Another conclusion is that the suitability of the general solution form for all other chosen datums. Elsalmawy","doi":"10.52981/fjes.v8i1.100","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52981/fjes.v8i1.100","url":null,"abstract":"Deposits of low grade and high-phosphorus iron ores are spreading globally, however, the usage of this kind of deposits in the manufacturing of steel bounded because of the high-phosphorus content as well as depression of iron in which affect the quality of the produced steel. The Bajrawia iron ore deposit is one of the largest in Sudan but it only contains (35.5% Fe) and undesirable amount of phosphorus (0.37% P). This paper investigated the utilization of reverse anionic flotation (RAF) for the upgrading of iron and dephosphorization. Additionally, the effect of microwave pre-treatment on forth flotation performance on a laboratory scale. Microwave pre-treatment was applied on optimized reverse anionic flotation parameters in an account of iron grade (47.31% Fe), iron recovery (86.43%) and phosphorus content (0.167% P). The findings into the microwave pre-treatment are quite promising. The chemical analysis was conducted using atomic absorption spectroscopy, X-ray Fluorescence, Energy Dispersive X-ray and titration. The mineralogical characterization was obtained by optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The physical properties such as densities, water content and porosity were determined. It was found that Bajrawia iron ore contains about 35.5% Fe and some impurities like phosphorus and silica. Goethite is the major iron mineral associated with minor contents of hematite, kaolinite and quartz. SEM photo showed that the main minerals are goethite, clay minerals and quartz. The ore has low density because it has high porosity degree. The beam was discretized into rectangular elements using finite element method. Three patterns of different dimensions and numbers of rectangular elements were used to verify the results of vertical displacements and stresses obtained by MATLAB and SAP 2000.The development of four noded isoparametric quadrilateral membrane elements in MATLAB programming language is presented. The membrane elements developed are plane strain condition. The considered patterns were analyzed as shell elements using SAP2000. This paper discussed the behavior of TNT loaded storage (a framed reinforced concrete (. the results of calculated pressure Using Reference (UFC)-3-340-02 [1] Equation and investigated that the average peak reflected pressure close to 5000 Psi.
