The essential input variables required for these modules are weather data such as solar irradiance and temperature. Output generated may be in the form of voltage, current or power which are necessary to plot and study the (P-V & I-V) characteristics of the PV modules. The outputs are immediately affected by any variation in the input variables and it is necessary to study the impacts of variation in physical data (input variables) on the power generated by the PV modules. Therefore, an accurate design of PV module is required before implementation in solar PVS. This paper presents a step-by-step designing of a PV module in detail. The configuration of PV cells considered in the design is single diode model-based consisting of series as well as parallel resistor for better accuracy. The model is step-by-step simulated and tested in MATLAB/Simulink. Behaviour of module in variable weather conditions such as solar irradiance and temperature has been studied and value of series and parallel resistance for optimum output have also been approximated.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115477833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Climate and precipitation are generally highly non-linear and complex phenomena that require advanced computer modeling and simulation for their accurate prediction. An artificial neural network (ANN) can be used to predict the behavior of such nonlinear systems. RNA has been successfully used by most researchers in this field over the past 25 years. This article examines the literature available on some of the methods used by various researchers to use the AN for precipitation forecasting. Weather forecasts have become an important research field in recent decades. In most cases, the researcher sought to establish a linear relationship between the meteorological data entered and the corresponding target data. However, with the discovery of non-linearity in the nature of meteorological data, the emphasis was placed on the non-linear forecast of meteorological data. The article examines the applicability of the ANN approach by developing efficient and reliable non-linear predictive models for meteorological analysis. Furthermore, they compare and evaluate the performance of the models developed with different transfer functions, hidden layers and neurons to predict the maximum temperature 365 days a year.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"538 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124529883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Continuous improvements in accuracy by eliminating all the radiometric and geometric errors, as well as the use of sophisticated statistical techniques goad to effective and optimized decision making. Although previous studies found mathematical relationships between final crop yield and different forms of spectral indices all around the world, few studies conducted in small areas. The relation of crop growth stages and sugarcane yield after applying the atmospheric and geometric corrections is also not considered by the researchers in the past. This study aims to estimate the sugar content of the sugarcane crop grown in a small area with machine learning models. The process based on correlation analysis to identify of the best periods for the reliable and efficient estimation of the crops is presented in this study. The study has been carried out in the Khedli Minor area near Bahadrabad District Haridwar Uttarakhand, which belongs to the Himalayan foothill region. The performance evaluation of the models has been analyzed using Mean Absolute Error and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The minimum value of RMSE =1.52 has been found with the cost parameter C=1 and Sigma = 0.1 for the Support Vector Regression (SVR) model. Compared with the other models, the SVR model exhibit better performances on Brix estimation based on the multitemporal vegetation indices. Although, this study exhibits some promising results in the yield estimation, a more generalized model can be developed with additional inputs from physical characteristics such as temperature, precipitation and soil moisture.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122017300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be used for chip authentication or identification and generation of the key. The most of the PUFs uses the delay to generate set of responses, however, because of linear separability of the response function it results in delay along circuit paths, hence, they are vulnerable to various kind of attacks. In this paper, a new physical Unclonable function is proposed that uses the concept of mismatch between MOSFETs arranged in a voltage divider configuration. All the transistors are subjected to stochastic variability, and they are operated in the subthreshold region. The random binary output is generated by comparing the analog voltages produced by identical arrays. The introduced PUF circuit is simulated using 45 nm Predictive Technology Models (PTM) in HSpice. The voltage divider array-based PUF demonstrates very good characteristics compare to its counterpart methods.
