The Internet of Things paradigm is now under consideration for developing and improving Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The intelligent transportation systems are mainly focusing on emergency message dissemination as well as general information. For this message dissemination IEEE has approved Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment (WAVE) as the standard. This WAVE supports two MAC layer protocols called IEEE 802.11p and Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC). For emergency message transmission, broadcasting is the generally adapted methodology. Due to rebroadcasting of incoming messages by the vehicles, a problem called broadcast storm occurs. To overcome this main issue along with other issues many protocols have been proposed by many researchers in academia and industry. In this paper a comprehensive survey of broadcasting protocols which are developed over the above said MAC protocols are given. This paper also deals with their implementation and limitations of those protocols.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127115348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most popular sites have made default choice as HTTPS. This development of encrypted traffic has brought in new challenges in the areas of network security monitoring and analysis. This paper makes a survey through various study done in the area on novel approaches for identification and investigating HTTPS traffic and its effect on network security monitoring. This work makes a complete analysis and evaluation of HTTPS protocol-is it ensuring security or are we entering in a vicious cycle of finding weaknesses and tryingto fill the gaps in Network security Monitoring. There are couple of vacuums that exist along with encrypted data, namely firewalls, IDS becoming blind to data being exchanged, enhancing vulnerabilities by making it tough to implement security policy and probability of malicious activities hidingin the ciphered traffic. Most of the current techniques namely DPI to port based to IP address to DNS to SNI filtering is prone to be ineffective in front of HTTPS traffic. The emphasis is upon the new ways to explore the expanding HTTPS volume with security breaches to cover new challenges related to Network Security Monitoring. Data collected from couple of up to date research and their conclusion hasbeen discussed to provide a brief overview so as to provide the reader with an in-depth understanding of the research progress in thisarea.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127964744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, it is not so easy -sometimes impossible- to involve students into an old-fashioned learning process. This led us to modernize our classic teaching process using new technologies which are much closer to their needs. To involve and inspire students we started to use two different real-time applications: E-Lection (developed by us) and Veyon (free, ready-made system). We use E-Lection during the lectures to make them interactive and more motivated adding the possibility to ask and sign in real-time. Veyon is working in the time of laboratory work to enforce the students' common work and present the best practices. In this paper we publish the details of this experience and its acception by the students.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"24 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123047393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However the digital marketplace is flooded with number of business models vying with each other. Manufactures are selling directly thorough their website but cannot ignore strong players like Make My Trip, GoIbibo etc. and are present on these sites as well to reach the customers. The current paper looks at the digital marketplace in India and delineates where the customer is shopping for their travel needs and why they are going to these sites. It delves into the customer satisfaction level with the websites and identifies the gap therein. The paper is relevant for various stakeholders as it provides clarity about the reasons why customers are going to the third party sites for making their purchases when the companies own website is present for the same and the gap between their expectations and perceptions.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126278950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Churn is irresistible thus it is better to develop models to predict the churn. In this paper, weka tool is used to perform various operations on data set and first of all data is converted into nominal form. It's divided into classes and cross-validation is performed on churn class. Hoeffding tree algorithm and Logistic algorithm have been applied on the dataset. Classifier performance evaluator is used to classify the data. To observe the results text viewer is used and the graphical representation is cast-off to demonstrate the comparisons. Confusion matrix suggest that Logistic algorithm is a better algorithm to predict the customer churn over Hoeffding tree algorithm.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121217159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Internet of Things (IoT), it's a conception that indicates how it would be if all the things (physical objects) of the world that are used in daily use are connected to the Internet. In this IoT, it is supposed to recognize all the connected devices that are connected with the Internet. The meaning of IoT is the connection among “things” such as controllers, machines, people, and sensors with restricted networks through the internet or other communication techniques throughout a novel approaches to built intelligence networks. All of the daily things used within these devices include washing machines, coffee makers, all wearable devices headphones, lamps, cell phones, and everything we can think of. So we can say that IoT is a conceptual environment of physical things that interacts with other things (devices). Security is a major concern of IoT nodes such as users, servers, objects and things with the association of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA). Privacy is the subpart of security its role is very much important in various IoT Services and applications, which may be harmed by an eavesdropper.","PeriodicalId":136544,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computation, Automation and Knowledge Management (ICCAKM)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123767880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
