Hence, this essay endeavors to assess the viability of environmental security as a determinant of conflict in Turkey, a country that has witnessed an environmental degradation over the past few decades. This article posits that, with regards to potential conflicts between Turkey and its neighboring nations, it is unlikely that any environmental issues, aside from transboundary water sharing, would serve as a primary catalyst for war. However, they may indirectly worsen Turkey relations with bordering countries. This is because resource scarcity, environmental degradation and climate-induced mass foreign migration and asylum seekers can cause political and social disorder and cultural corruption in Turkey. The potential consequences of these indirect impacts pose a risk of social, political and cultural deterioration in Turkey and its ties with neighboring countries through worsening dynamics linked to security.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136304123","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Warfare, occupation, and cultural absorption all contributed to this fragmentation. Their alphabet changed several times over time, and their language encountered difficulties. As a result, their communication, and ties with one another degraded to the point that they appeared unable to effectively communicate, agree, or collaborate. The existing links between the Turkish World and Turkey were mostly severed during the Soviet era. However, with the fall of the Soviet Union and the subsequent declarations of independence by new Turkic Republics, these links were quickly restored. Today, Turkish states cooperate closely in various fields, engaging in significant joint projects, particularly through organizations like TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency). One notable initiative is the quest for a \"Common Alphabet,\" aiming to foster better communication and unity among Turkish-speaking communities","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"263 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135653449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ghanem, Amira M B Saleh","doi":"10.59671/qgure","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.59671/qgure","url":null,"abstract":"Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) are a major component of Gram-negative bacteria and are released when bacterial death occurs. LPS has detrimental effects on development, including embryonic resorption and intrauterine fetal death, and intrauterine growth retardation. Exposure to LPS during gestation is a major causative factor for zinc deficiency, which results in poor development of foetuses. This work aims to evaluate the therapeutic role of zinc nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) instead of traditional zinc against testicular damage in rat offspring maternally induced with LPS. 24 pregnant rats were allocated into four groups at random: control, Zn-NPs, LPS, and LPS +Zn-NPs groups. After birth, the male offspring for each group were kept with their mothers till weaning day (post-natal day 21; PND21). At PND 21, the offspring were sacrificed, dissected, and the testes removed for histological and biochemical investigation. The results revealed that LPS during early gestation is implicated in the reduction of body weight in male offspring (at post-natal days 1, 7, 14, and 21) and remarkable histopathological signs in their testicular sections. Additionally, the testicular sections appeared strongly expressed for caspase-3 protein and negatively stained for Bcl-2 proteins, which indicated the apoptotic effect of LPS. Also, the testicular antioxidants (SOD and CAT) appeared significantly lowered, while the levels of MDA and caspase-3 appeared significantly higher in LPS-maternally induced offspring if compared with controls. On the other hand, treatment of mother’s rats with Zn-NPs from day 14 of gestation until weaning successfully alleviated the histopathological, apoptotic and biochemical changes in the testicular tissue induced by LPS.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135495300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Selecting a team leader from a group of individuals within an organization who consistently deliver superior outcomes, exhibit collaborative behavior, demonstrate cooperation, and share a commitment to a shared objective poses a challenging predicament for the enterprise to achieve. This issue can be approached as a Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem. The process of selecting a suitable candidate for the role of team leader and subsequently determining the duration of their promotion within the organization can have significant ramifications. The present study employed the integrated trapezoidal interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy DEMATEL-ANP-TOPSIS technique to address the issue of team leader selection. This problem entails the consideration of four primary criteria, along with twenty sub-criteria and twenty alternatives. The IT2 fuzzy DEMATEL-ANP approach was employed to derive the weight degrees of the sub-criteria. Subsequently, the IT2 fuzzy TOPSIS method was incorporated into the model to assign weights to the alternatives. The final phase of the study involved the utilization of sensitivity analysis to evaluate the robustness of the constructed model.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71124436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A field experiment was carried out at two different locations of North-West province during 2016/17 and 2017/18 planting seasons. The experiment was laid out as a split split plot arrangement fitted into a randomized complete block design with four replications. The main plot factors were higher plant density (33 333 plants/ha) and lower plant density (22 222 plants/ha). The subplot factors consisted of nitrogen fertilizer rates of 0, 100 and 150 kg/ha. The sub-sub plot factors included two sorghum cultivars, PAN 8625 and PAN 8816. The measured growth parameters were plant height, stem diameter, leaves per plant, leaf chlorophyll content and leaf area index. Sorghum fertilised with 100 kg N/ha had a significantly taller plant of 94.07 cm than sorghum fertilised with 0 and 150 kg N/ha at 51 DAP. During 2016/17 planting season, sorghum cultivar PAN 8625 had a significantly higher number of 13.29 leaves than PAN 8816 at 51 DAP. Sorghum cultivar PAN 8625 also had a significantly higher number of 12.71 leaves than PAN 8816 at 74 DAP. Sorghum growth was enhanced by application of 100 kg N/ha. In this study, sorghum cultivar PAN 8625 is recommended to farmers due to its superior growth performance.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71125031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, we investigate the impact of the fractal-fractional operators on the system's behavior and provide insights into the underlying dynamics. Fixed point theory proves the Lorentz-L\"{u}-Chen existence and uniqueness under this operator. Furthermore, we applied a numerical power series method to solve the proposed models. To illustrate the applicability and efficiency of this suggested method, numerical examples are provided. Landfills cause multiple problems, such as CH4 and CO2 emissions, landfill fires, odors, and groundwater pollution. Waste-to-Energy (WtE) incineration is a way to recover the waste's energy in the forms of electricity and heat. In this study, a model for estimating the profitability of a WtE incineration plant is presented and applied to the city of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Based on the data used, WtE incineration is economically feasible in the area, however changes in estimates impact the economic feasibility, and the changes in the revenues have the highest impact on the outcome.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135446966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Purpose: to experimentally find out whether aerobic classes included in the program of sports-oriented table tennis groups of a higher educational institution have an effect on the speed of students (running for 15 seconds in place) and to investigate the necessity of including these classes in the curriculum of physical education. Materials: 106 first-year students participated in the experiment (53 – control group and 53 – experimental). The R/S method was proposed for processing experimental data. At the first stage, a ascertaining experiment was conducted. At the second stage, the introduction of aerobic activities into the table tennis curriculum. At the third stage, a repeated comparative experiment was conducted, the purpose of which was to check the degree of influence of aerobic classes on the speed of students. Results: at the end of the experiment (May), the results of the students of the experimental group were qualitatively different from the results of the students of the control group. The results of the experiment indicate the need to include aerobic classes in the curriculum for physical education of students in sports-oriented groups, in particular (sectional classes) table tennis. The experimental program combines a training program with a sports orientation (sectional classes) in table tennis - 75% of the total and aerobic classes (cross training and basic aerobics) - 25%. Conclusions: the effectiveness of the methodological approach to the development of a physical education program for students of groups with a sports orientation, which combines generally accepted means of developing physical qualities and the latest methods for their improvement, has been experimentally proven. This experiment proved that the development and inclusion of table tennis, aerobic classes (cross training and elements of basic aerobics) in the educational program with a sports orientation (sectional classes) had a better effect on students' running of the 15-second run. And the method of exponential smoothing makes it possible to predict future results.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135611480","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It not only contains an essential micronutrient for human beings (sodium), but also is an important and safe preservative in food processing sector. Excessive salt intake is linked to the high prevalence of hypertension and other related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and stroke. A reduction in salt intake across the whole population will be conducive to improvements in public health. However, reducing the salt content in foods is not a simple but a challenging task, since salt not only impacts the flavor and texture of the final products, but also plays an important role in processing and preservation of foods. The present review introduced the salt reduction actions around the world and different approaches for sodium reduction in foods, and further summarized emerging technologies that utilized in salt reduction in foods.","PeriodicalId":13651,"journal":{"name":"Interciencia","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135612113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"综合性期刊","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
