The dynamical analysis of the respective unimodal maps is performed using symbolic dynamics techniques. The complexity of the correspondent discrete dynamical systems is measured in terms of topological entropy. Different populational dynamics regimes are obtained when the intrinsic growth rates are modified: extinction, bistability, chaotic semistability and essential extinction.","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133240752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sheer volume of data and complex biological problems that need to be answered increase the demand for effective data analysis and visualization tools which provide intuitive visual representation and allow full exploitation of the data. Most common usage scenarios include using the resources for automated lexical tagging or named entity recognition. Also manually annotated language resources are used for benchmarking of new automated approaches. To allow any processing on a large scale and considering the complexity of natural language (words can have multiple meanings within the same general context) the resources have to be quite large. In this paper we focus on lexical resources in ontology form.","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123866708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Frequently we are challenged in developing software with speed of development and time required when software needs to be developed. Therefore, we have used the advantages of framework development approach, where we have developed strategic programming approaches. Concerning the e-application development, we applied it for electronic training system. The various different techniques were discussed. The system is designed to be intelligent and to propose the level of each participant of the system. With respect to generic usage, this paper tenders experimental methods, simulation techniques and information model for experimenting usage of electronic web-based applications. The project has been implemented and tested in practice. When TCP/IP protocols extended its development and we became frequent users of the internet, we could say that software development has changed. From traditional software development with .exe installation we are now increasing web software development which operates with client server protocols.","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127773477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We carried out a didactic experiment to test the effectiveness of virtual laboratory from pupils' perspective. We asked ourselves the question whether the learning outcomes of pupils are better when they do experiments in a virtual laboratory in comparison to science classes without visualization elements. The results showed, that in terms of knowledge acquisition, using the virtual laboratory is better than science classes without visualization elements.","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130339166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, the finding of a long-term business partner becomes more difficult, as market conditions change rapidly, and so does the financial stability of the business entities. In this article, we discuss how valuable information can be extracted from the Business Invisible Web (BIW), the part of the collaborative Web (Web 2.0) used by business entities in order to make transactions and report them, by use of Large-Scale Collaborative Systems. The research literature has shown that valuable knowledge can be derived for predicting the dependencies between various business sectors from the economy. Such knowledge can be extracted from the Web and used in a variety of Business Intelligence tasks, such as choosing a new Merger or Acquisition partner (strategic decisions) or simply choosing between a variety of available suppliers (operational decisions).","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130917561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We use the results derived to emphasize the new measure of savings in the production process resulting from the substitution of the more expensive production factor with the cheaper one [5]. The results are illustrated numerically due to their importance in empirical studies. Thus we demonstrate the practical application of general and abstract theoretical understanding of the economic savings in the production process and emphasize the didactic value of the paper. Numerical example also serves as the motivation for the new issue of compensating the change in elasticity of substitution with the corresponding change in scale.","PeriodicalId":135105,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ITI 2012 34th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123385588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
