The patient\u0000presented with heavy menstrual bleeding and lower abdominal pain, and after initial treatment with endometrial biopsy\u0000and hemostatic uterine curettage, a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was performed. The gross examination of\u0000the specimen revealed a hypertrophied cervix with a cyst lled with grey-white substance, as well as a polypoidal mass in the fundus and\u0000intramural broids. Histopathological examination conrmed the diagnosis of a cervical epidermoid cyst as an incidental nding. Squamous\u0000metaplasia was conned to the cervical mucosa. The precise etiology remains unclear, but post-parturient implantation of vestigial embryonic\u0000tissue might be a contributing factor as there is no other associated etiology in this case. This case report emphasizes the importance of considering\u0000epidermoid cysts in the differential diagnosis of cervical masses and highlights the need for further research to better understand the formation and\u0000management of these rare cysts.

Life style\u0000modication is the rst step in the management of Diabetes. Sleep quality and other Quality of life(QoL) indices are often\u0000neglected. There is a vast difference in the life style of urban and rural population and may inuence the course of Diabetes Mellitus and its\u0000management.Aim of the study was to (1). Examine sleep quality, QoL and glycemic control among rural and urban diabetic individuals. (2).\u0000Compare sleep quality, QoL and glycemic control between rural and urban diabetic individuals. In this study, 110 diabetic patients were grouped\u0000as rural and urban categories. Sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). WHOQOL-Bref was used to\u0000assessQoL. HbA1c was estimated using turbidimetry kit method. The mean HbA1c levels were 8.1± 2.6 in urban and 7.7 ± 1.7 among rural\u0000diabetics. Mean sleep score of the urban diabetics was 12.3 ± 6.7 and was 11.4 ± 4.8 in rural diabetics. QOL good scores were 68.3%, 76.7%,\u000086.7% and 76.7% among urban diabetics and 88%, 70%, 90% and 98% correspondingly in rural diabetics. This study concluded that the rural\u0000diabetic patients had better glycemic control. They had better sleep scores and QoL scores in all domains except social domain. The better\u0000glycemic control seen may be due to life style and environmental differences.

Newer antibiotics are required to treat drug-resistant\u0000pathogens. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are promising next-generation antibiotics that are naturally produced in all\u0000living organisms. They are crucial components of the natural resistance framework of an organism. Small cationic peptides of 10-60 amino acid\u0000lengths have been successfully used as antibiotics. Marine ecosystems have an immense diversity of organisms and microorganisms that interact\u0000with each other, and thus have unique defense mechanisms. Marine cone snails are an untapped source of small, cationic AMPs. These snails\u0000secrete various proteinaceous venoms to deal with predators and preys. These cone snail venoms remain unexplored for their potential as\u0000antimicrobial peptides. The structural analysis of the venomous protein, Turritoxin PaIAa, from cone snails showed a high content of amino acids\u0000commonly found in AMPs. However, it did not exhibit any antibacterial activity. This protein was further investigated by overlap fractionation to\u0000identify hidden antimicrobial and cell-penetrating peptides. The unique peptide stretches obtained from PaIAa were evaluated against the toppriority ESKAPE pathogens. All peptides were active against A. baumannii. All peptides had cell-penetrating properties. These AMP candidates\u0000also showed promising physical, physicochemical, and pharmacokinetic properties. The AMP candidates identied in this study can be further\u0000evaluated by in vitro and in vivo testing.

The purpose of this study was to observe the play skills and developmental trajectory, as well as to explore their\u0000correlation, among children diagnosed with mild to moderate ASD.\u0000The play abilities of twenty preschool children, with ages ranging from 2 to 6 years, who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate Autism\u0000Spectrum Disorder, were assessed using the Knox Preschool Play scale. The assessment of developmental trajectory was conducted utilizing the\u0000Ages & Stages Questionnaire-III (ASQIII). The relationship between them was examined through the application of the Pearson correlation test.\u0000The play skills affected to moderate level scores ranging from -0.47 to 0.75 out of maximum score 2 and the developmental domains such as\u0000communication, ne motor skills, problem solving abilities & personal social development showed moderate to severe involvement scoring\u0000between 8.75 to 28.36 out of maximum score of 60 in each domain.\u0000Space and Material Management displayed a moderate level of impairment. There is a notable impairment in both participation and\u0000pretense/symbolic play. The impact on the development of personal social skills and problem-solving abilities was notable when compared to\u0000children with typical development. This suggests a deviation from the usual trajectory of overall development and play capabilities. Researchers\u0000have noted a moderate positive correlation between material management and the development of both ne motor skills and problem-solving\u0000ability. Participation has been observed to exhibit a similar correlation with ne motor skills. The signicance of executive functions, planning,\u0000and ne motor development in the development of play skills is emphasized by these ndings, suggesting the necessity of Occupational Therapy\u0000intervention for child development.

Swedana helps to relief stiffness\u0000heaviness and coldness of the body and makes the body to perspire. It removes toxins from the body through hair follicles present all over the skin\u0000.The perspiration brought about by the swedana is more than the normal. Swedana is preventive, supportive as well as therapeutic. Acharya\u0000charak has mentioned the root of origin of swedavaha srotas (channels) lies in Meda (fat, lipids, Adipose tissue) and lomakoop (minute pores of\u0000the skin located around base of hair follicles). Sweda is considered to be excreta (Mala) of meda dhatu. The root of origin of medovaha srotas\u0000(channels) are Vrikka (kidney) and vapvahana(peritoneal membrane). The Vrikka (kidney) is originated from prasada bhag of Rakta (Blood) and\u0000meda. In Chronic kidney disease (CKD), the hemodynamics of the kidney is hampered which leads to accumulation of toxins and unltered\u0000excretory wastes. So with the help of swedana the hemodynamics of kidney and the body is improved which facilitates the expulsion of\u0000accumulated toxins through activation of sweat glands to produce more sweat.
