The suggested architecture of the converter is focused on the AC-DC converter of the H-bridge rectifier and then boosts the DC voltage. This boosts the reliability of the converter since only a fraction of the power travels into the converter, thus improving its efficiency and then use a push-pull converter for the conversion of DC to AC and stepping it down by flyback transformer and then rectified the AC voltage to get the pure required DC. For charging of an EV battery, demonstrations of the actions of the suggested conversions of voltage and PWM control of the MOSFET of the boost converter and push-pull converter by PIC16f690 microcontroller are described. The positive response of the suggested method is demonstrated by the results. It is checked that only a fraction of the power factor of about 96% is processed by the proposed converter for the overall power output spectrum.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129374111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multiple strategies are followed in designing these converters. The primary purpose of the distinct design is to minimize the harmonic contents from the output waves of the converters and ensure maximum efficiency. In this paper, a three-phase bridge converter feeding a rectified dc input is interfaced with an RL load in the MATLAB/Simulink platform to compare the operational characteristics of these techniques. The total harmonic distortion is also analyzed in all these techniques to illustrate their performance in drive control. Moreover, the impact of varying dc-link voltage, load conditions, switching frequency and duty cycle on these techniques' operational char-acteristics and performances are investigated, primarily focusing on resulting harmonic contents evaluation.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130640207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, different parameters of CNTFET from previous works have been studied and analyzed. Then, leakage current and leakage power of the proposed D flip-flop were compared with different reference circuits. The main goal is to improve, develop and design a CNTFET based D flip-flop. CNTFET's leakage current and leakage power consumption reduced drastically by decreasing diameter of CNT and number of CNT used in the CNTFET, which affected overall CNTFET's power consumption obviously. The proposed D flip-flop exhibited exquisite performance in case of leakage power consumption, having an average of 10.306 nW only, which is extremely low compared to the contemporary circuits. The chosen thickness of oxide and CNT's length for all the CNTFETs are 5 nm and 16 nm respectively. These CNTFETs are based on the results gathered from so that not only they can act as a D flip-flop correctly but also total power consumption of the device would be reduced as much as possible.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"52 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131673790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These methods share the same pipelines to detect the infancy level of PD. But to detect the early stage of PD is very challenging. In our study we have used deep convolutional neural networks to detect early stages of PD through patients' handwriting images. To increase the performance, we have combined four datasets of PD handwriting images without the additional signals and used an ensemble method of transfer learning technique. High handwriting sample variability presents a difficulty that is tackled by the transfer learning approach. We have used accuracy, loss, precision, recall, AUC and F1 score as measure metrics to evaluate the models. Many noteworthy works have been done by researchers from different parts of the world in tackling this issue by using the Internet of Things (IoT) yet very few in Bangladesh's perspective. In this work, we propose an efficient IoT-based integrated streetlight framework that offers cloud powered monitoring, controlling through light dimming as per external lighting conditions and traffic detection, as well as fault detecting system to ensure low power and electricity consumption. We analyzed data from Dhaka North and South City Corporation, Narayanganj City Corporation and Chattogram City Corporation where our proposed model demonstrates a reduction in energy cost of up to approx. 60% than that of the existing system. Each cancer-infected cell's refractive index (RI) is contrasted to the RI of its own healthy individual, and significant variations in optical properties are discovered. Moreover, the concentration of cancerous cells in liquid is estimated at 80%, and the finite element method (FEM) is used for detection (FEM). A thin indium tin oxide (ITO) film coating (50 nm) separates the silica and cancer cell parts, allowing for a plasmonic band gap to vary the spectral shift. The suggested sensor has a significant level of birefringence of 0.035 and a length of the coupling of up to 70 μm, On the other hand, the proposed model gives an ideal wavelength sensitivity level of around 10357.14 nm/RIU and 17750 nm/RIU, with a sensor resolution of 1.41x10−3 RIU and 7.37x10−3 RIU. The proposed antenna can excite horizontal and vertical linear polarization (LP), +45°and -45°LP, right-hand and left-hand circular polarization (CP). To attain polarization reconfigurability, a square shaped patch antenna is excited by either single or dual-feeding mode with two orthogonal aperture-coupled switchable feed networks where each network has either a quadrature length shifter or a 180° phase shifter. Single port is used to excite horizontal and vertical LP. On the other side, switchable dual port excitation can produce +45°LP, -45°LP, RHCP, and LHCP. Basically, 180° phase shifter helps to achieve ±45° LP and quadrature length shifter is used to excite dual-CP sense. For wireless applications, the suggested antenna is more appealing due to its low cross-polarization level and good isolation in each polarization state. The proposed antenna has 10-dB impedance bandwidth (BW) of 1.17% for LP, 0.72% for LHCP, and 0.60% for RHCP. Moreover, 3-dB axial ratio (AR) BW is more than 2.50% for both CP senses. Better isolation characteristic (<-25 dB) is attained at resonance frequency of 3.356 GHz without utilizing any isolation improvement techniques. Besides, the maximum gain of two CP modes and the LP mode are 7.82 dBic, 7.68 dBic, and 8.90 dBi, respectively.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133038972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quality of education that a university provides is crucial to this progress. Almost every university stores the assessed grades on the local server, making them vulnerable to different security attacks e.g. DDoS, SQL injections, cross-site scripting, etc. Any alteration to the assessed grades highly affects the students' personal, academic, and professional lives. This study proposes a blockchain-based secure approach for storing, managing and recovering students' grades by employing both a local server and a blockchain server. The immutability feature of blockchain ensures grade integrity and facilitates the implementation of a grade recovery system. Grades are encrypted before storing on the local and blockchain server to protect privacy. The blockchain server returns the index number of the corresponding block to the user for further use. Finally, the experimental analyses demonstrate the system's effectiveness over state-of-the-art works.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117270449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper investigates the techno economic justification of transmission line capacity expansion in the ever-increasing generation supply on the national power system grid. An optimal power flow model of the southern zone of the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) is developed and Lagrangian method is used to validate the model. The small test system consists of 9 buses, several generators run by 6 different types of fuel to serve the load connected through transmission lines. Using practical data set, several plausible case studies have been simulated. Focus is given on Sikalbaha-Anowara transmission line capacity expansion planning. The results show that generator operating cost and selling price of energy are 9493.32 $/Hr. and 22 $/MW-Hr. respectively despite the increasing capacity of the generator at bus 4. The simulation results show that the cost of energy reduced to 1475 $/MW-Hr. per day compared to highly congested line. This reduction is further improved to 1296 $/MW-Hr. per day for uncongested transmission line. Both the operation cost and electricity selling price is significantly reduced if the capacity of the heavily loaded line gets expanded.","PeriodicalId":131537,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering (ECCE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124905868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
