This study aimed to calculate the calcium and phosphorus requirements of female Arab chicken until the first age of laying eggs in a semi-scavenging system with a free choice feeding system in tropical climates. The research design was a completely randomized design with four treatments and each treatment was repeated 4 times and each replication consisted of 18-day old chick female Arab chickens. The treatments were (a) control feed, (b) high calcium high phosphorus feed and high calcium low phosphorus feed, (c) high calcium high phosphorus feed, high calcium low phosphorus feed and low calcium high phosphorus feed, and (d) high calcium high phosphorus, high calcium low phosphorus, low calcium high phosphorus, and control feed. The protein and energy content of all the feeds were based on the results of research by Adrizal et al (2017), while calcium and phosphorus were based on standards from Hy-line International in 2018. The data collected are feed consumption, calcium and phosphorus consumption, calcium, and phosphorus concentrations in the feed consumed. Data were analyzed by using ANOVA. This research has only been going on for 3 weeks. Consumption of feed was not different (P> 0.05) between treatments until week 3. Calcium intake was different (P<0.05) between treatments in weeks 2 and 3, Phosphorus intake was different (P< 0.05) between treatments in week 3. The calcium concentration of the feed consumed was significantly different (P <0.05) between treatments each week. Calcium concentration in control diets was significantly lower between treatments each week, except between T2 in week 3. Calcium concentration in T2 was lower than T3 in week 2, but it was similar to T3 dan T4 in week 3. The phosphorus concentration of T1 was lower than that of T3 and T4 in week 1 and of T2 and T3 in week 3. The body weight gain did not differ between treatments (P> 0.05) each week. It can be concluded that the concentration of calcium and phosphorus in the control diets was the limiting factor to support the growth of female Arab chicken as shown a numerically higher growth rate based on the free-choice feeding system.","PeriodicalId":131374,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Green Development International Conference (GDIC 2020)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128764034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of these impurities can reduce the activity of zeolites. To improve the character of natural zeolite, activation and modification are carried out first. In addition to removing impurities contained in natural zeolites, zeolite activation processes are also used to modify the properties of zeolites, such as surface area and acidity. One of the advantages of zeolites is that they have a surface area. and readily modifiable acidity when used as an adsorbent. This research aims to; find out the natural zeolite coating process using phenantrolin; find out the pH of the solution against the adsorption process of iron (III) metal ions using phenanthrolin coated zeolites; find out the effect of other metals on the adsorption process of iron (III) metal using phenanthrolin with coated zeolite. The stages carried out in the study began with the preparation process of 250 mesh zeolite which was activated using 1 M HCl solution. Then the zeolite coating process was carried out by mixed it with 10 ml distirer for 1 hour, the residue was dried, and then it would be ready for the adsorption process. After that, it was followed by the characterization of the adsorbent with FTIR at a wavenumber of 3400-250cm-1 and repeated for the adsorbent that had adsorbed iron (III) ions. The final step is to carry out the adsorption of iron (III) ions, where the process is carried out with variations in pH 2,6,8 and variations in contact time, that were 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60 (minutes). The results showed that natural zeolite after the activation process with hydrochloric acid had increased crystallinity. The results of pH variations showed that for the natural zeolite the higher the pH, the higher the adsorbent's effectiveness, while for the activated zeolite, the higher the pH, the lower the adsorbent's effectiveness. the variation in contact time showed that the longer the contact time, the effectiveness of natural zeolites and activated zeolites will decrease. The results of the concentration variation showed that the greater the concentration, the lower the effectiveness of natural zeolites and activated zeolites. Adsorption of natural zeolite on Fe (III) metal ion follows the Freundlich isotherm pattern with an n value of 0.09. Activated zeolite adsorption on Fe (III) metal ions followed the Langmuir isotherm pattern with a maximum capacity (Qm) of 1.18 mg / g.","PeriodicalId":131374,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Green Development International Conference (GDIC 2020)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115860938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the increasing environmental damage due to human behavior and activities, a solution is needed that must be sought immediately. Through the learning environment, these skills are used to analyze problems, look for causes and effects of problems, find out how these problems occur and find a solution plan. Learning mini research projects that are integrated with the value of Pro Environmental Behavior (PEB) facilitates the development of this ability by exposing students to \"real life\" problems which are then carried out a critical study, determining the solution to these problems and followed up with the project. This study aims to see the effect of the learning environment based on a mini research project integrating PEB and ecosystem knowledge to students' critical thinking skills. This research is an experimental study with a 2x2 factorial design. The research variable is a learning model in the form of a mini research project learning model integrated PEB and conventional models, and the attribute variable is ecosystem knowledge which consists of 2 factors: high and low ecosystem knowledge. The instruments used were questionnaires, tests, observation sheets and documentation. The research sample consisted of 97 students. This research was conducted for 6 months. The data analysis technique used descriptive data analysis and 2-way ANOVA inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of this learning model on critical thinking skills; meanwhile, ecosystem knowledge has no effect on critical thinking skills. There is no interaction between the learning model and the level of ecosystem knowledge on critical thinking skills. Thus, these learning models can be implemented in a learning environment.","PeriodicalId":131374,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Green Development International Conference (GDIC 2020)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123892095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the prevalence has decreased which might be contributd to national immunisation programme starting in 1997. As a protective effort, since 2014, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Riau (FK UNRI) has implemented mandatory hepatitis B vaccination programme for students enrolling into clinical rotation who have anti-Hepatitis B surface (anti-HBs) titer less than 10 IU/mL. However, post-vaccination anti-HBs titer has never been measured. This research aimed to analyse post-vaccination anti-HBs titer on FK UNRI students enrolling in the vaccination programme. Surveyed respondents claimed to have been vaccinated on < 1 year old (40 people, 34,2%) or >1 year old (0,8%), while 77 people (65,8%) did not know or could not remember their vaccination status. Pre-programme initial screening showed that more than 80% students were nonreactive for anti-HBs. Followup anti-HBs titer measurement post-programme was conducted on 24 out of 42 students who have received third doses in FK UNRI hepatitis B vaccination programme. Result showed that all tested respondents have protective anti-HBs titer (≥ 100 IU/mL) within at least 2 months post-vaccination. Until now, Hepatitis B vaccination program has not been mandatory for healthcare workers or students working in various medical institutions. Therefore, a mandatory hepatitis B vaccination programme policy could be implemented by medical institutions to minimize hepatitis B infection cases among healthcare workers and students.","PeriodicalId":131374,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Green Development International Conference (GDIC 2020)","volume":"468 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122393066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Decision-making in such cases can use scoring systems such as Thwaites diagnostic score. However, this requires analysis of cerebrospinal fluid, and this is not a commonly performed workup among patients in Jambi. To illustrate the role of routine cerebrospinal fluid analysis, including how the Thwaites scoring system is implemented. Patients who present with the clinical presentation of suspected intracranial infection undergo the lumbar puncture procedure, and other supporting diagnostic procedures were performed where applicable. Results are then summarized and Thwaites score is calculated. Three patients are presented in this case series, and the Thwaites score for two patients were below 4, indicating that tuberculous meningitis is more probable. The score for the third patient was +7, which indicated that bacterial meningitis is more probable.
