We have carried out a basic experiment using delay lines consisting of GaN film on Al2O3 substrate. As acoustic waves, we used SAW and guide wave layer mode in GaN thin film and employed MSM detector having the same structure as that of input IDT. The results have shown that the DC out put signals are obtained at the output diode for both modes. However, we have observed a relatively complicated phenomena, such as change on DC output signal polarity depending on the intensity of UV, trapping effect of carriers. We clarified that excess carrier either electron or hole in transported carrier would reasonably explain these effects. The flux-splitting algorithm that is inherent to the FVTD method is exploited to compute the incident and reflected fields in a port. A novel correction scheme for the magnetic field is applied that yields accurate results of the scattering parameters in non-TEM structures by performing an artificial flux separation. An enlargement of the difference of the effective phase velocities for the cou- pled-modes is accomplished by loading a coupled micrstrip with periodic shunt capacitive stubs, and consequently the length of the coupled line section is considerably reduced to 18% of a tra- ditional coupled line section. Furthermore, a flat coupling, or a broadband performance, is achieved by use of asymmetrically loaded coupled line section. The new approach represents an advance on existing direct and optimization methods for coupling matrix synthesis in that it will exhaustively discover all possible coupling matrix solutions for a network if more than one exists. This enables a selection to be made of the set of coupling values, resonator frequency offsets, parasitic coupling tolerance etc that will be best suited to the technology it is intended to realize the microwave filter with. To demonstrate the use of the method, the case of the recently – introduced ‘extended box’ (EB) coupling matrix configuration is taken. The EB represents a new class of filter configuration featuring a number of important advantages, one of which is the existence of multiple coupling matrix solutions for each prototype filtering function, eg 16 for 8th degree cases. These platforms are very resource constrained which limits their application to more demanding tasks. These limitations were imposed by constraints on cost, power consumption and physical size. Intel Motes represent a new class of Sensor Network platforms that are motivated by several new design goals: increased CPU performance and memory capacity, improved radio bandwidth and reliability, as well as cost-effectiveness. The ability of polymer stereolithography process to fabricate thin flexible 3D structures with small fabrication tolerances enables the realization of highly loaded tunable evanescent-mode resonators. Tissue sensing adaptive radar (TSAR) has been proposed as a method for early tumor detection. Reflections from the differences in electrical properties between healthy and diseased tissue (tumors) are time-shifted and summed to create images. In this paper, the TSAR second generation experimental system is presented. An antenna is tested and characterized, reflections are recorded and the image formation algorithms are tested. Series resistors and quarter wave transmission line that has the role of inverter are synthesized to design the proposed attenuator. The proposed attenuator removes unexpected peaked insertion loss signal by its unique slope. It has various attenuation level and good return loss, so it can be used to the systems that have an unwanted peaked insertion loss. The various attenuation values are achieved due to pin diodes, as an example, 10~15 dB attenuation level presented in this work.
