The purpose of this application is based on the improvement of controlling an industrial process. The variables studied were the values relatives of the gap between products in the production line and the deviations related to this gap, in order to increase the productive flow and reduce the variation of the process respectively. For the gap value the applied technique presented some significant numerical results, but for the deviation did not have the same behavior. Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo estudar a aplicação da técnica de regressão linear múltipla para um estudo de tendência de variáveis em uma plataforma de dados dirigidos. O objetivo dessa aplicação se fundamenta na melhoria de controle em um processo industrial. As variáveis estudadas foram os valores de espaçamento entre produtos na linha de produção e os desvios relativos à esse espaçamento, com o intuito de aumentar o fluxo produtivo e reduzir a variação do processo respectivamente. The performance of the controllers was verified through simulations, where the robot was subject to disturbances, such as variation of ground friction coefficients, mass and battery level. The robot’s kinematic and dynamic models are used for controller tuning and simulation. Most students do not have contact with real risk situations of electrical instlation shock. In this context, we present an evolution of an extension project work, at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, Cornélio Procópio (UTFPR). Thus, the main goal is to present a tool for the cognitive quantification of electrical shock and fire risks by means of a simplified-Rule-based Dynamic Fuzzy Cognitive Map (sRBD-FCM). To aid training and awareness methods for the inhabiants. It uses historical data from electrical shock and firehazard principles to modify the critical risk levels aspects for fire propagation or increased occurance of electrical shock. Through the initial results it was possible to detect the desirable effects in the proposed cognitive tool. Therefore, future works will address the proposal validation in real case studies. Specifically, we present the performance investigation of an affine combination of two individual adaptive filters of different classes, considering the mixture parameter of the combination calculated adaptively through the stochastic gradient algorithm, called of 𝝆𝜼 -LMS. The aim of the combination is to obtain, in stationary environment, an RLS-LMS adaptive algorithm that outperforms the classic algorithms in terms of convergence speed. The proposed design investigates the possible advantages of a proportional-integral UIO (PI-UIO) to solve the problem of states and disturbances estimation when the industrial plant is subject to parametric uncertainties. Existence conditions to obtain the PI-UIO structure are provided, as well as Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) conditions to ensure the robust stability for the closed-loop system. A practical comparison using a proportional UIO widely used in the literature and the proposed approach is made. The proposed design procedure is based on Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) and considers that the control input is subject to saturation. The formulation is done in terms of active and apparent power, leading to a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) problem, and take into account power factor rules. The uncertainties on the load prediction are addressed by using a chance constrained approach. This work describes the development of a fuzzy controller to perform as a dynamic setpoint generator to control the i-pentane molar fraction present in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas. As a hard-to-measure variable, the amount of i-pentane will be estimated by an artificial neural network based sensor. Results have shown that the proposed system is capable of controlling the molar fraction of i-pentane.
