The study extracted airline data from several online sources. The results suggested that the airlines used a product and service differentiation strategy to gain some market shares under the circumstance. In addition, using data from traveler reviews, text analysis techniques provide insightful information about service characteristics that differentiate positive and negative reviews. Results suggest that satisfied travelers seek sympathetic and responsiveness, while negative reviews suggest complaints of poor operational activities such as IT operations and flight cancellations.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123588209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Improvements in performance and service can be done by improving health workers’ performance, one example of which is improving the performance of medical trainees. Medical trainees are required to be able to serve patients well, timely and on target for 24 hours, hence scheduling is needed. Medical trainees scheduling in this case is to allocate 179 medical trainees divided into 26 groups, followed by scheduling it into 16 units/clinics/hospital departments for 2 years (96 weeks). Each hospital department has criteria for mental workload, physical workload, fatigue level, group capacity and different duration of time. Therefore, there is a need for scheduling that takes the whole thing into account. Scheduling in this case is still conducted by plotting medical trainees manually and has not considered ergonomic factors (the physical workload, mental workload and fatigue level) at each hospital department. Medical trainees scheduling considering ergonomic factors can be adopted to reduce ergonomic risks and achieve better performance of medical trainees. In this paper, the authors propose an integer nonlinear programming which aims to find optimal scheduling to minimize the deviation in mental workload, physical workload and fatigue level that ware experienced by medical trainees in every month. The mental workload, physical workload and fatigue level were evaluated using the NASA TLX method, pulse rate recall questionnaire and Subjective Self Rating Test (SSRT). Optimal scheduling is needed to reduce the fatigue felt by medical trainees during 96 weeks of clinical clerkship. The results revealed the effectiveness of the model because the scheduling in each department was proven to be done in according to the capacity and time vulnerability based on the regulations and could create a balance of physical workload, mental workload and fatigue level of medical trainees on a monthly basis.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123931918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is located in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The problem in this research is the lack of fulfillment of electricity needs in the hydropower plant due to the summer season. Adding scenario is needed, such as planting trees as water conservation. The method used is a stock and flow diagram to model the relationship between tree planting, water balance, and biomass. The methodology uses historical data, field surveys, qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this study found that Singkarak has decreased in lake water level every year. This is because there is a population growth factor that causes water demand to increase. Tree planting policies need to be implemented to keep water levels stable.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125464425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even though we know that in developing countries, street-vended food is one of the biggest contributors to employment, it is difficult for the government or the authorities to control and ensure the safety of street-vended food. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumer behavior in buying street-vended food and consumer knowledge on food safety. The conceptual model proposed describes the relationship between these factors in shaping consumer behavior using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to street food consumers in Jabodetabek with an age range of 25-40 years (Millennial Generation). The collected data were analyzed using the partial least square (PLS) method to determine the factors that influence consumer behavior. As a result, As a result, 6 of the 8 hypotheses were accepted, while the rest were rejected. From these results, it is clear that, the tendency of consumers in Indonesia to recognize the importance of food safety and also to understand food products that are good for their bodies to consume. However, in their application, they underestimate the food safety of the food products they buy. It's hoped that the output of this research can be used to facilitate recommendations in the formulation of policies regarding food safety and consumer protection in Indonesia and to improve the available data for risk analysis or food safety strategies in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116618862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Good governance of an incubator will result in competitive start-up companies. Many factors can affect the capability of the incubator to perform this role and also to provide good services in developing a business based on innovation. The purpose of this study is to develop a model that can be used to measure the performance of an incubator business technology based on user perceptions. In this study, these factors have been defined namely aspect 7S (space, share, support, service, skills, seed capital, and synergy) to support the business start-up development and the performance of the incubator itself in providing these services. These factors become a reference to develop the incubator performance model by using the PLS-SEM approach. 13 initial hypotheses were tested based on the correlation of each of these factors. From the test results based on 93 respondents, who are involved in the technology business incubator services, it was found that 5 hypotheses were rejected, namely space, skill, seed capital, and synergy factors which has a positive correlation but has no significant value to the incubator performance. Besides, it is also founded that the support factor also has a positive correlation but has no significant value to the business start-up development.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121316809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quality in logistics services needs to be improved in line with the increasing demand from the market. Improvements in service quality and performance need efforts from all parts of the business process, one of which is the last mile delivery stage, which is the delivery of goods from retail locations to customers. Delivery speed and accuracy are important factors for measuring the performance of the process in the last mile. The performance of the process can be seen by measuring the relative efficiency of the last mile station using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method which is able to evaluate the relative efficiency level of a DMU (Decision Making Unit), in this case the DMU analyzed is 137 last mile stations in the DKI Jakarta and West Java. The input variables to measure efficiency are the number of couriers, the number of parcels that must be sent, and the cost to pay employees, while the output variables are in terms of delivery speed and customer satisfaction. Of the 139 stations, there are 51 stations (37%) that are relatively efficient (above 95% efficiency), and 88 stations (63%) that are not yet efficient. Station with low efficiency needs to improve its performance based on the benchmark value of each variable in the DEA analysis. Part of negotiation is creating price estimation by a purchaser. Price estimation factors are debatable for procurement experts. This research aims to determine dominant factors for price estimation in a procurement and creating a model based on the factor especially lease asset procuring. Leasing price estimation factor is never yet on the research. In addition, the research consider factors from previous research on price estimation and add novelty factors as a consideration such as vendor performance rating, quantity order, and tenancy of assets . A confirmatory factor analysis is conducted in this study, because some factors taken from research previously and additional factors from some researchers but not yet be determinant of estimation factor. This confirmatory factor analysis need to test what indicators have been grouped according to latent variables and find dominant factors can be considered for the price estimation model. The confirmatory factor analysis results shows that in price estimation model in leasing are location, amount of competitor, and quantity order grouped as one model factor predictor.","PeriodicalId":129225,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Research in Industrial and Systems Engineering","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126904776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The apparel industry produces fashion items, such as jackets, bags, shoes, wallets, and others. The production process uses chemicals so that the waste can damage the environment. Therefore, to reduce environmental damage, the apparel industry needs to apply sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) concepts. Supply chain activities involve significant warehouse roles because the warehouse is the center of goods flow. Therefore, the warehouse's sustainability aspects must be considered, by designing a sustainable warehouse. The sustainable warehouse implementation needed to be supported by a system to monitor the warehouse's sustainability aspects. This study focuses on designing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) based monitoring dashboard to monitor sustainable warehouses to realize a comprehensive SSCM in the apparel industry. The result of this study is a dashboard system design for a warehouse to realize a comprehensive SSCM in the apparel industry.
