At present, hip and knee replacement is one of the important means of treatment, and it is of great significance to promote the recovery of limb function as soon as possible. In order to evaluate the effect of Otago exercise on hip and knee replacement after hip and knee replacement, this study conducted a meta-analysis of relevant clinical studies to provide a theoretical basis for clinical care. Meta results showed that Otago exercise had a good effect after hip/knee replacement, which could reduce the level of phobia, improve fall efficiency and balance ability, promote the recovery of hip/knee function, reduce joint swelling, and further improve patients' daily living ability.","PeriodicalId":129141,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Medical Science Research","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131024997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods One hundred and twenty patients with knee osteoarthritis were selected and randomly divided into acupuncture group and manipulation group, with 60 cases in each group. The acupuncture group was treated by acupuncture therapy, and the manipulation group was treated by manipulation. WOMAC scale was used to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups before treatment, 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment. Results After 2 weeks' treatment, in the acupuncture group, the pain score was(71.52±36.81), the stiff score was(32.94±31.06), and the joint function score was(286.33±208.92). In the manipulation group, the pain score was(83.39±42.73), the stiff score was(21.17±36.54), and the joint function score was(292.46±213.48). The pain score and joint function score of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P0.05). The difference of the stiff score in the acupuncture group before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P0.05). The stiff score of the manipulation group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P0.05). Two weeks after treatment, the pain score and joint function score showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05), but the stiff score of the manipulation group was significantly lower than the acupuncture group(P0.05). Four weeks after treatment, the pain score, stiff score, the joint function score were(43.86 ± 35.31),(13.69 ± 12.32),(179.41 ± 165.18) in the acupuncture group, and(51.79±42.68),(11.52±10.74),(195.39±158.92) in the manipulation group, respectively, which were significantly less than the scores 2 weeks after treatment(P0.05). But the differences between the two groups 4 weeks after treatment were not statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Compared with the therapy of acupuncture, manipulation treatment for joint stiffness results in faster onset. Two kinds of therapies are all effective for patients with knee osteoarthritis, which are ideal non-drug therapies for the disease.","PeriodicalId":129141,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Medical Science Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130638258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

POF is a common reproductive endocrine disorder in gynecology that seriously affects the physical and mental health of women of appropriate age. Western medicine mostly uses hormone replacement and assisted reproduction techniques in clinical treatment, but in the long run, the side effects are large. With the development of Chinese medicine in recent years, the efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of POF has been recognized. A large number of studies have shown that the combined effect of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of POF is better than that of Chinese medicine alone. The treatment methods mainly include Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine therapy, Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture therapy, Western medicine combined with acupuncture therapy treatment and Chinese medicine - Western medicine - acupuncture triple therapy. It is found that the combined effect of Chinese and Western medicine is better than the treatment of Chinese medicine or Western medicine alone, with significant clinical effect, which can effectively improve the endocrine level of the body, restore normal menstruation and improve fertility.","PeriodicalId":129141,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Medical Science Research","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128797586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At present, depression has become one of the risk factors of coronary heart disease, and coronary heart disease can increase the incidence of depression, both of which can be seen in the same patient. With the society entering a new era, the traditional medical model has gradually changed to the bio-psycho-social medical model, and it is particularly important to explore the co-disease mechanism of coronary heart disease and depression based on the framework of bicardiac medicine. it has important clinical significance for disease prevention, early intervention and late treatment.","PeriodicalId":129141,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Medical Science Research","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126928376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
