This paper presents a new hybrid feature selection algorithm based on Discrete Firefly optimization technique with dynamic alpha and gamma parameters and t-test filter technique to improve detectability of hidden message for Blind Image Steganalysis. The experiments are conducted on important dataset of feature vectors extracted from frequency domain, Discrete Cosine Transformation and Discrete Wavelet Transformation domain of cover and stego images. The results from popular JPEG steganography algorithms nsF5, Outguess, PQ and JP Hide and Seek show that proposed method is able to identify sensitive features and reduce the feature set by 67% in DCT domain and 37% in DWT domain. The experiment analysis shows that these algorithms are most sensitive to Markov features from DCT domain and variance statistical moment from DWT domain.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129551137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Optical properties and LSPR characteristics were analyzed with Titanium Nitride (TiN) as an adhesion layer at gold(Au)/silver(Ag) interface. The reflection spectra of bimetallic layer nano-holes was compared with various metallic layer thicknesses of Au and Ag, hole radii and lattice period. When compared between single and bimetallic Ag/TiN/Au nano-hole layers, it showed that the layer with 70nm-thick Ag/5nm-thick TiN/50nm-thick Au (Ag70/TiN5/Au50) gave greater LSPR-based sensor performance with narrower plasmonic line width and better full width at half maximum (FWHM). Change in geometrical parameters such as lattice period and hole radii was affected the sensitivity and detection accuracy of Ag70/TiN5/Au50 nano-hole layer, which maximum of 90.9% reflection intensity and minimum of 18nm FWHM were obtained.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128184599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The new model using input orientation with constant returns to scale (CRS) assumption is derived based on Economics concept of production function. The new approach provides alternative means of evaluating system performance with multiple inputs and outputs. This type of evaluation using empirical DEA method to study a program provides adequate technical efficiency measurement compared to the effectiveness performance measurement using a computational method. It is found that the proposed model is able to further minimize the transmission energy by the ad hoc wireless networks without altered the output.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131063696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Transformers are the most mineral consuming devices of the power distribution systems as the use of core and winding has a high mineral content. In this paper a solution has been proposed to solve this problem and provide with an optimization technique for the minimum volume used to develop transformers. The technique models the materials, using the dependence of material on the magnetization parameters and uses genetic algorithm to perform optimization.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114594507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, gait disorder may improve by using the external stimulus on sensory system. However, there have not been many studies on biomechanical changes of gait, a dynamic posture of body, when a somatosensory stimulation is applied. Gait experiment was performed to validate this hardware in actual situation with 3-dimentional motion analysis and gait analysis. The results showed changed ground reaction force and angle of joint, which was considered that local somatosensory stimulation gave immediate feedback and changed the characteristics of gait during the gait. The study used a real-time analysis of patient's movement and external stimulation applied at proper timing and its results would be usefully applied in patients who requires gait guidance and have gait abnormality due to lack of balance for rehabilitation.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123182522","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medical teaching models are commonly used to explain to patients details about the procedure before the surgery. However these teaching models are generic, not patient specific and not anatomically accurate and also lack visual understanding of certain aspects of the diseased heart, such as fibrosis on the muscular tissues of the heart. A method in producing a patient specific and anatomically accurate rapid prototype biomodel of the heart is described. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans obtained from a patient with fibrotic myocardium were processed using algorithms and printed on a rapid prototyping apparatus to generate a physical three dimensional (3D) biomodel. A normal 3D cardiac biomodel was also generated from an healthy individual. These biomodels were opinionated positively in a surgical congress and effort is currently underway to create an automated process flow so that in future each patient can have their own biomodels prior to surgical treatment to aid surgeons in planning and discussion.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131787695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The longitudinally mounted resistors were found to increase with the stress and giving maximum of resistance change of 10 to 23 O when the actuation voltage was varied from 50 to 180 V, while the transverse resistors were found to decrease from 0.8 to 0.4 O for the given voltages. Possible Wheatstone bridge configurations were studied to get the maximum output voltage, which was found to be 14 mV when two equal longitudinal resistors are connected with two equal external resistors to form a half bridge configuration.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132053337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"Sensorless Control with Kalman Filter in an Active Engine Mount System","authors":"A. Turnip, Grace Gita Redhyka, Hariyadi","doi":"10.1109/ISMS.2015.42","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ISMS.2015.42","url":null,"abstract":"An active engine mount (AEM) system presented in this paper used to isolate the engine vibration to the chassis and to minimize the effect of such disturbances in the passenger cabin, besides supporting the static load by an engine weight. To accomplish this goal, a feed forward control algorithm will be employed in the currently developed AEM system. The engine mount system developed up to date uses sensors to measure the current states of engine vibration. However, it is expensive to use sensors in the engine mount system, and cutting down the number of sensors provides a major cost reduction. The Kalman filter has a good dynamic behavior and disturbance resistance, and it can work even in a discontinuous position. A procedure for selecting an optimal integral gain will be proposed, and the proposed estimator will be compared to the well-known passivity-based state estimator.","PeriodicalId":128830,"journal":{"name":"2015 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Modelling and Simulation","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126470845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
