The MANET environment is vulnerable to dangerous attacks, such as flooding-based attacks, which paralyze the functionality of the whole network. This paper introduces a hybrid intelligent algorithm, which can meet the challenge of protecting MANET with effective security and network performance. This objective is fulfilled by inspiring the abstract anomaly detection of dendritic cells (DCs) in the human immune system and the accurate decision-making functionality of fuzzy logic theory to introduce a dendritic Cell Fuzzy Algorithm (DCFA). DCFA combines the relevant features of danger theory-based AISs and fuzzy logic theory-based systems. DCFA is verified using QualNet v5.0.2 to detect resource consumption attack. Helical antennas play vital role in establishing reliable communication in UAV applications. In this paper, an axial mode helical antenna for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications is proposed. The antenna is simulated and the performance analysis is presented. The antenna with 3 turns and a pitch angle of 14° has attained significantly improved results. The antenna has a VSWR lower than 1.5. The return loss of -14.69 dB is observed with an enhancement of 33.5%, and a gain of 9.51 dB with 8% improvement is observed. Moreover, the improved results were achieved with the reduced size of the ground plane. Most significant steps of system identification process are generally summarized into four main stages. The initial stage is collection of experimental data. After that, the model order and structure are selected. The next stage is to approximate the parameters of the model and finally, the mathematical model is validated. In this paper, a technique termed as Simultaneous Model Order and Parameter Estimation (SMOPE), which is specifically based on Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is proposed to combine model order selection and parameter estimation in one process. Both the model order and the parameters of the system are estimated simultaneously to attain the best mathematical model of a system. Technological developments of wireless devices and systems can also be found in medical field. This has allowed physicians and healthcare providers to connect remotely with patients and give a proper care. Wireless technology in medical field has become readily apparent. E-health and m-health (using mobile devices) provide the most effective patient care and medicine dosage. Human prefer an easy way to use the medical device without any medical knowledge. This paper proposes a blood pressure monitoring device with wireless system which links to computer and records the reading automatically. So, an automated blood pressure measuring device will be used in this project and XBee is chosen to the blood pressure measuring device wirelessly to the computer. Two XBee will be used in this project, one is to transmit and another one is to receive the data. Each XBee will be connected to a microcontroller build-in PIC to process the reading obtained from the blood pressure measuring device. The received blood pressure reading will be recorded. The cooperation in this method is performed by way of channel coding as a substitute for a direct relay or repetition. In a multi-user environment, more than one single antenna mobiles cooperate in virtual MIMO system to accomplish transmit diversity while supporting the same information rate and transmission power. Concatenated Reed Solomon and convolutional codes, RSCC, are effective channel codes to reduce the noise. So they have been employed by some wireless communication standards such as IEEE 802.16e WiMAX. In this paper, we compare the performance of RSCC, concatenated codes, coded cooperation to RS, codes without concatenation, coded cooperation in terms of bit error rate with various SNR and Doppler shift values utilizing higher order modulation techniques. We adopt the structure of physical layer specifications of IEEE 802.16e WiMAX. The results illustrate the performance of RSCC coded cooperation as compared to RS coded cooperation is significantly supreme at medium and high SNR ranges and at low and medium Doppler shift ranges. The motivation for the development of this simulation originates from the study of atmospheric boundary layer flow around a tall building. A numerical result is obtained by taking into account the atmosphere boundary layer using reduced Navier-Stokes equations. Two general shapes of distribution of skin-friction are studied, (i) smooth edges and rounded top and (ii) smooth edges with flat top. Our results show that in order to get the numerical result, there must be a restriction on the size of the obstacle with certain critical height for flow separation; the critical height for separation is found to be related to the edge lengthscale. The signals were divided into vertical and horizontal signals according to the channel and the placement of electrodes respectively. This paper is to investigate the differences in absolute mean values of the EOG signals before and after using an eye massage device based on four EOG tests designed. The first test conducted is relaxing and blinking which is useful in distinguishing between the actual EOG signals and signal artifacts. Secondly, smooth tracking allows us to to track slow and distant moving object. Thirdly, eye movement detection is controlled via reflexes which linked to the detecting vestibular system. Lastly, saccades occurs when the subject reading a paragraph. The presence of unstable oscillations in the system sustained for a longer time period may disrupt the grid operation. Thus monitoring and detecting unstable oscillations is necessary for reliable, stable and secure operation of the system. Identifying the source of these oscillatory modes is also necessary in-order to damp them. This paper reports a case study of an event leading to loss of generation in the Northern Region of the Indian power grid and identifying the source of oscillations using measurement based methods. Commonly, micro grid operates the grid-connected mode. But, when a fault occurs in the upstream grid, it should disconnect and shift into islanded operation mode. It is important to maintain the voltage and frequency constant values in islanded mode. To achieve these management goals appropriately, In this paper, a strategy control of state-of-charge (SOC) for the energy storage system operating under micro grid islanded mode to stabilize the frequency and voltage was proposed. The SOC control is to keep the charging level of the battery within its proper range while the battery was output or absorb the power. And then control of gird voltage and frequency. The performance of suggested SOC control was simulated by PSCAD/EMTDC. This paper proposes a new means of transport for application to such cities. The system is based on small electric vehicles with mechanical couplers that are designed to attach to devices installed at each home. Unfortunately, this system incurs an issue of enhancing the operability for drivers of the coupled EVs. Therefore, this study set out to develop a distributed driving system that ensures that a group of vehicles maintains the same driving characteristics as those of a single vehicle, regardless of the number of coupled vehicles. This system suppresses fluctuations in the driving characteristics by means of online learning by the vehicle model using a neural network and by feedback control using a force gauge.
