Digital signature assumes an important part to guarantee authentication, non-integrity, and non-repudiation on a message. Digital signature can be computed using Rives, Shamir, and Adleman (RSA), and elliptic curve cryptography. It can be a simple signature in which hash of the message is encrypted with the private key of the sender. This private key and corresponding public keys are generated by Certificate Authority (CA), and public key are binded in the digital certificate. Another approach is Identity Based (ID) signature in which private keys are generated by Private Key Generator (PKG) and public key is derived from the user’s identity [19]. This is also known as certificate less communication. In ID based signature, there is no need to transmit public key over unsecure channel. Public keys are efficiently derived from the receiver’s identity information such as name, email address, network address, IP address, and now Aadhar number. Unauthorized users can forge email addresses. Today Aadhar number is used as a unique identity proof that can be used as ID to derive public key of the user. But ID based cryptography has an inherent key escrow because of its dependence on PKG that uses a single master secret key to generate a user’s private key. Key escrow enables the PKG to decrypt all the messages of its domain. In this paper we have proposed a secure and efficient multiple signatures scheme based on Shamir’s and Lein Harn’s identity based signature that is secure against forgery and public key replacement attack and do a comparison between Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and ID based cryptography.","PeriodicalId":127788,"journal":{"name":"International Journal in Computer Simulation","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124953713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here, e-voting system refers to an online voting anywhere in the country by voters in public elections. The goals of an e-voting system is to increase voter participation and relieve congestion at polling stations on election day. E-voting is similar to \"no-excuse\" absentee voting. E-voting system increases the participation of voters in India. The main reason for conducting the research was to know the perception of voters towards acceptability of digital India campaign led by the Government of India. Responses were gathered through 276 prospective travelers having a transferable job and may not be present in their city at voting time. Computer aided qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS) was used to explore the factors through content analysis and the same was empirically experimented by using EFA and CFA through SPSS and AMOS software. The finding suggested that new factors conveyed the perceptions of voters towards accepting e-voting system concepts in India. Further, government organizations as well as voters may perhaps benefit from the research outcome. E-voting may be thought of as a solution of replacing the ballet box and it can lead to transformation of India from a developing into a developed nation.","PeriodicalId":127788,"journal":{"name":"International Journal in Computer Simulation","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121176206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various mobile wallets and online payment systems are sprouting to reap the benefits of this opportunity. These vibrant payment systems evaporate the importance of cash as the only method of exchange of value. Perception of consumers towards these payment systems is highly important for future growth. This study aims to discover perception of users towards electronic payment (e-payment). Literature review indicates that factors such as usefulness, ease of use, security, trust, and risk significantly affect users' perception. A conceptual model was developed and tested in this study mainly focusing on factors influencing users' perception towards e-payment. A self-administered questionnaire was developed and disseminated to 200 respondents out of which 150 valid responses were considered for further analysis. Cronbach alpha was used to check the reliability of the questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis was used to extract the variables. Correlation and multiple regression analysis revealed that usefulness, ease of use, and security significantly impact perception of users towards e-payment. However, results for trust and risk are insignificant. It has been found out that there is a great potential for future expansion of such payment instruments and the challenge is to meet the continuously growing expectations of consumers. Several implications can be drawn from the study for both marketing managers and policy makers which help in developing strategies directed at increasing epayment acceptance, and usage.","PeriodicalId":127788,"journal":{"name":"International Journal in Computer Simulation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115155815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
