Methods: 350 valid and complete questionnaires were obtained from the subjects who underwent gynecological physical examination in the health management center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University from October 2021 to December 2021. The subjective and objective factors of fear of gynecological examination were analyzed. Results: among the 350 respondents, 152 (43.43%) had fear of gynecological examination. The main subjective factor was that the previous gynecological examination was very painful; Objective factor analysis: there was a positive correlation between pre examination score and post examination score, and the degree of fear decreased after examination (t = 13.204, P = 0.000). Multivariate analysis showed that the fear of gynecological examination in recent asexual life was 0.369 times higher than that in others (P = 0.012), sexual intercourse pain was 8.304 times higher than that in painless people (P = 0.012), and regular physical examination was 2.979 times higher than that in non regular physical examination (","PeriodicalId":127322,"journal":{"name":"World Journal of Clinical Medicine","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133107764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: A total of 108 pregnant women diagnosed with thrombosis after delivery in the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province from January 2020 to December 2021 and 540 pregnant women with the same gestational age who delivered in the same period were selected for the study. The risk factors of VTE and the correlation between VTE and serological markers were statistically analyzed. Results: The risk factors of venous thrombosis include parity (≥3 times), postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy complications, perinatal surgery, intestinal obstruction and rheumatic immune system. There were significant differences in NLP, RDW, FDP, FIB, AT Ⅲ and D-dimer between the thrombosis group and the normal group (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Prophylactic anticoagulant therapy was actively performed during puerperal period according to the VTE rating scale, and at the same time pay attention to the changes of serum markers, which is of significance for early identification and intervention of VTE in pregnant women.","PeriodicalId":127322,"journal":{"name":"World Journal of Clinical Medicine","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114464963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern women have delayed their childbearing age due to occupational, economic, emotional, and other factors. More and more women wanted to seek for freezing oocyte with the aims to preserve future emergencies situation and achieve reproductive freedom, which mainly included the populations, such as patients suffering from tumor, immune diseases, and genetic diseases and person who might get treatment with the damage to their fertility. At present, except the people who might suffer the damage to their fertility with medical indicator, oocyte freezing was not reliable for women with non-medical indications in China. Since there were still many problems especially ethical issues that have not been solved well, oocyte freezing for non-medical indications in China was only performed for patients with tumors and other diseases that needed to receive treatment, which could damage the function of ovarian, or the diseases would lead to the decrease of ovarian function. We attempted to provide a treatment strategy and explore possible reasons for the comorbidities. Case presentation: We presented a 62-year-old patient seeking treatment for postmenopausal tissue prolapse and leakage of urine. The gynecologic examination revealed the uterine prolapse with a 2.5 cm papillary and erosive lesion on the cervix that was pathologically confirmed as cervical squamous cell carcinoma in stage Ib1. Clinical diagnosis included cervical squamous cell carcinoma in stage Ib1, prolapse of uterus and vagina, stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Then she was performed radical surgery for cervical cancer and tension-free vaginal tape-obturator (TVT-O). The urine function was good after operation. The surgery solved two diseases, which improved the quality of life (QOL) of patient and radically cured cervical carcinoma at the same time. Follow up for more than two years, HPV was negative, no prolapse symptoms occurred, and the quality of life was good. Conclusions: Surgical-based treatment seems to be more suitable that can cure the two diseases and improve the QOL. We should pay attention to the potential high incidence of HPV infection and HPV-related cervical cancer so that we should not ignore the screening for cervical cancer in the prolapse group and initiate surgery treatment strategies of cervical cancer or pre-cancerous lesions as early as possible to reach an optimal outcome of patient.","PeriodicalId":127322,"journal":{"name":"World Journal of Clinical Medicine","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116831642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Genetic counseling physicians can reduce the risk of recurrence of genetic diseases by judging the pathogenesis of genetic diseases, selecting appropriate genetic testing techniques, analyzing test results, diagnosing diseases, carrying out genetic counseling to assist the treatment of genetic diseases, and giving fertility guidance. Genetic counseling service is the genetic counseling physicians through appropriate genetic counseling strategies to genetic basic research and genetic laboratory testing technology into clinical transformation, reduces the risk of birth defects and genetic diseases recurrence,reduces the mental and economic burden of hereditary diseases on the patients themselves, their families and society. At the same time, with the opening-up of Chinese fertility policy, the increase of the proportion of older pregnant women and the increase of the risk of birth defects, as well as the implementation of the \"Healthy China 2030\" program, the demand for genetic counseling services has increased in many disciplines. This paper will discuss the practical application of the current genetic counseling service strategy in clinical medicine.","PeriodicalId":127322,"journal":{"name":"World Journal of Clinical Medicine","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125500991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
