The charging of electric vehicles is currently relevant from the point of view of the electricity supplier, the network operator, the electricity producer, while from the user’s point of view it is only about the consumption of electricity in the shortest possible time and in the required amount. For this reason, the consumer of electricity is a random element in the electricity system, which can cause various adverse conditions in the network, such as voltage asymmetry, sudden power loads (voltage drops), and in the case of inappropriate charging equipment, even higher harmonics. Since such a phenomenon of electric vehicle charging is more or less random (the user charges the batteries at different times and amounts), it is therefore appropriate to think about battery management so that the load behaves constantly at a set interval, so that it is possible to predict the setting of suitable energy sources and to conFigure the power line so as to ensure the least possible losses. For this purpose, a model of AC and DC battery charging with a constant value during the day was created in the Matlab / Simulink environment, while a different value of the charging current was considered for each day of a month. To supplement the power, a photovoltaic source was chosen as an auxiliary source, which reduced the consumption of electricity from the distribution network by approximately one fifth of the power. The results of the simulations were evaluated in conclusion.","PeriodicalId":127258,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference and Workshop Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125060459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several types of automated tests that try to meet the needs of today’s technology, but in addition to the advantages of these techniques, there are also disadvantages that are analysed in detail in this article. The aim of this article is to develop and present the possibilities of exploiting the potential of protocol orientation in a less common programming paradigm in user interface tests that do not suffer from the previously mentioned disadvantages. The manuscript meets the theory of user interface testing with protocol orientation, creating a test project that takes advantage of Swift’s unique language capabilities by transferring best practices from traditional testing procedures, resulting in easy-to-read, easy-tomaintain test codes.","PeriodicalId":127258,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference and Workshop Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128284031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The W3C Web of Things is emerging as a solution to improve the integration of IoT devices and services across multiple IoT platforms and application domains by leveraging and extending existing, standardized web technologies. To semantically describe Things, WoT has defined the Thing Description specification. Thing Descriptions can be distributed in a wide variety of environments. In this paper a concept is presented to discover and retrieve Thing Description network-independently. The collected Thing Descriptions are then available via a web service. Due to different network structures, the effort faces some challenges which will be descripted in this work.","PeriodicalId":127258,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference and Workshop Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134397213","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A good selection of an alternative model representation leads to an an effective control design and good control performance, while a “bad” selection of an alternative model representation leads to a hard or even unfeasible control design. The TP modell transformation is capable of numerically reconstruct the HOSVD based canonical form of qLPV dynamic models. Further extensions of the TP model transformation such as pseudo-, multi-TP model transformation were proposed to easily derive alternative representations of a model at hand. It is proven that the convex hull defined by the TP model transformation is most crucial point in linear matrix inequality based control design. Finally, it turned out it is inevitable to derive model alternatives to find the optimal control solutions. The plenary lecture discusses the advances of the TP model transformation based control design.","PeriodicalId":127258,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference and Workshop Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131705970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Amongst the photovoltaic solar cells, Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is a further-looking, ease of manufacture solar cell. When it is exposed to sun light, the accumulated heat has a degradation process. This accumulated heat can be transported because of the temperature gradient and the transported heat can be converted into electricity vie Seebeckeffect. Therefore, the device which converts the accumulated heat to electricity via Seebeck – effect is the Thermoelectric Generator (TEG). In this article, the heat distribution across the structure of a Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell – Thermoelectric Generator hybrid system has been simulated using COMSOL Multyphysics Modeling platform in three-dimension in stationary mode. Furthermore, the following simplifications have been taken into consideration in order to conduct the study: (i) between the DSSC and TEG an aluminum sheet is located; (ii) in the built system, the DSSC and the aluminum sheet are considered as a homogenous layer. As a result, because of this, it is only marked with the aluminum sheet; (iii) the heat is accumulated in the aluminum sheet which dissipates 1 mW. The built model for the simulation is a simplified one to make the simulation easier. On the other hand, this work is preliminary results. Thermoelectric module which consists of heat transfer in solids module and electric current module was added to investigate the heat distribution across the system.","PeriodicalId":127258,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference and Workshop Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"173 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133691688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Eye tracking is generally implemented with the aim of recording the position and movement of the eyes. The position is defined through tracking the reflection of the light from the cornea and comparing the trace with the eye centre. The analysis of eye movement and position data enables the determination of how humans process visual information. Despite the uncomfortable collection mode, this eye tracking method provides less subjective data than data collected via questionnaires. Areas that implement eye tracking include medicine, marketing, education, usability research, computer games, among others. As part of their curriculum, students of Informatics are required to independently design and develop software applications, such as mobile, web or desktop applications, as well as create multimedia contents, e.g., posters or flyers. Implementing eye tracking devices offers students valuable insight into how users handle and use their created products and applications. The collected data revealed in what way users generally approached the user interface, how fast or in which order they selected the options. Such feedback could be linked directly to the application’s design quality and usability. The eye tracking system findings result in students creating improved applications, developing better designs for increased user experience, perceived by users as optimal applications.
