Pastoral plants are not escaped this problem. Effective adaptation in this sector will be of crucial importance. The present\u0000study deals with the tolerance of four clover plants, in Moroccan areas, subject to an increase in soil salinity during the last\u0000years. The effects of 4 levels of salinity, 0, 70, 140 and 220 mM NaCl, on four Trifolium species was conducted at germination. We\u0000+ + also tested the effects of salts on Na and K accumulation during germination. An interesting result is the ability of T.\u0000isthmocarpum to germinate on 220 mM of NaCl despite being a glycophyte species. In addition, seeds from T. isthmocarpum\u0000showed, unlike other species tested, a high ability to recover their germination after NaCl exposure when stress conditions are\u0000alleviated. This indicates that T. isthmocarpum developed the mechanisms of salt tolerance in seeds to improve adaptation of\u0000this species to high salinity.

Sustainable food practices promote environmentally responsible, socially equitable,\u0000and health-conscious approaches to food production and consumption. The Bhagavad Gita, a 700-verse Hindu scripture, is a\u0000foundational source of knowledge for sustainable food practices. It emphasizes vegetarianism, eating in sync with the sun, and\u0000spiritualizing food through offerings to God. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, incorporating qualitative and\u0000secondary data sources. The ndings reveal that food is not just a source of physical nourishment but a means to connect with\u0000divine consciousness. The principles of maintaining a vegetarian diet, aligning meal timings with the sun, and spiritualizing\u0000food through offerings to God are fundamental principles. These principles are relevant for health and the well-being of\u0000spiritual tourists, and the concept of intermittent fasting, known as "vrat," aligns with modern recommendations for healthy\u0000living. The bell clapper deformity, characterized by inadequate testicular\u0000attachment to the tunica vaginalis, augments testicular mobility, creating a predisposition to torsion. The resulting twisting of\u0000the spermatic cord leads to venous compression, edema, and eventual ischemia due to arterial occlusion. Neonatal torsion\u0000follows an extravaginal pattern, with two peak incidences, notably during puberty. Clinically, patients experience sudden,\u0000intense testicular or scrotal pain, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Diagnosis primarily relies on clinical ndings,\u0000supported by the TWIST score, and, in equivocal cases, scrotal Doppler ultrasound. Management entails immediate urological\u0000consultation, with surgical interventions such as detorsion and orchiopexy for viable torsion or orchiectomy for nonviable\u0000cases. Manual detorsion before surgery can salvage the testicle, and the debate over the necessity of bilateral orchiopexy\u0000persists. Appendiceal torsion, common in boys aged 7 to 12, is clinically diagnosed, managed with analgesia and scrotal\u0000support, with surgery (appendage removal) considered for persistent pain. Intermittent testicular torsion presents as acute,\u0000sharp pain with rapid self-resolution, recurring intermittently in boys. In a review, 26 percent experienced nausea or vomiting,\u0000and 21 percent reported nocturnal pain. Physical signs include mobile testes, anterior epididymis, or a bulky spermatic cord.\u0000Clinical and radiographic evaluations may be normal, emphasizing the need for follow-up on recurrent or worsening pain.\u0000Ultrasound, while up to 75 percent sensitive, often shows normal ndings, underscoring the diagnosis's clinical nature.\u0000Immediate follow-up is crucial, and a seven-day reassessment is recommended if initial evaluations are unremarkable.\u0000Awareness of intermittent torsion aids timely intervention, preventing complications and ensuring optimal care for affected\u0000individuals.

Now in recent decades, the changing climatic conditions and several anthropogenic activities have led to the unknowingly loss of several plant species. Climbers are one among the unique oristic compositions of the dryland habitat of Kachchh which are distributed in all types of habitats. With the loss of many of the host species in their natural habitat, climbers are facing threats to their survival at present. Therefore, the study has been carried out to assess various threats on climbers, to mitigate and conserve the native climbers' species of this landscape. Threats on climber's species were made using the rapid threat assessment (RTA) technique. The survey observed different types of threats on climbers, including; habitat loss, intensive resource use, harvesting for food and medicine, infra-structure development, invasion, etc. Among the climber species of the district; Corallocarpus epigaeus, Ipomoea muricata, Tinospora cordifolia as the highest risk, while Bougainvillea spectabilis, Merremia aegyptia, Ipomoea pescaprae has the lowest risk. The study concluded that climbers are an ecologically important ora distributed in all habitats of the district and the intensity of threats was found to vary from species to species and also among the habitats of its distribution. Therefore, suitable conservation measures need to be adopted preferably for the species and habitats which are comparatively facing more threats.
