PB72 is similar to the previously reported strain 21A. Considering potential biocontrol of this pathogen, an infectious bacteriophage was isolated and characterized. This strain was isolated from the Sundarbans mangrove ecosystem, and its draft genome comprises 7,449,420 bp with 6,680 open reading frames.
