Alpha beta associative memories are robust to subtractive and additive noise and are one of the fastest associative memories besides other qualities. In this paper we show a way to reduce the number of operations in the learning phase. The operation alpha used in the learning phase allow us to propose 8 theorems; with those theorems is possible to construct an alternative learning method. By this method, the number of alpha operations needed to learning each pattern is reduced and replaced by assignations, furthermore we also eliminate the min and max operations. Using automated systems such as search engines help users cope with the size of the Web. However the results produced by these systems usually contain documents from a large variety of topics with little or no relevance to the end user. In this work, we propose a model that can be used by a Web spider to selectively explore the Web for relevant documents. In this model, two criteria are used for assessing document relevance; content and structure. These two criteria are integrated in a fuzzy predicate that indicates the degree of relevance of a document with respect to a user-defined topic. In general, the characterization of the manipulator's workspace using the LAPF derives in obtaining a local minima space free when considering the combination of the manipulator's goal (position / orientation) as an attractive potential while obstacles are modeled as repulsive potentials.In addition it is shown the construction of three-dimensional configurations space, for a three-degree of freedom planar manipulator, with different arrangements stationary obstacles, of punctual type and bar type. The FX-LMS and FBFX-LMS algorithms were implemented using the TMS320C50 fixed point DSP system. Test results show that the FX-LMS algorithm achieves attenuations of up to 43 dB (at 300 Hz) and a mean attenuation of 38.72 dB for frequencies from 100 to 450 Hz. On the other hand, the FBFX-LMS algorithm achieves a mean attenuation of 31.52 dB for the frequency range from 100 to 450 Hz. Moreover, the step size parameter mu was optimized experimentally to obtain the maximum possible attenuation in the frequency range from 100 to 500 Hz. The best possible value for mu was 2048 and the optimized number of filter coefficients was M=128. There are two major challenges in this industry. The first one is the exploration and utilization of crude oil in deep sea, the second one is the scarce of light crude, the actual production report an increment of heavy crude, generating corrosion steel in the extraction and refinement processes. This paper presents an intelligent system to design conceptual steels considering its properties, taking into account some properties of oil crude and the temperature of the refinement process.
