Education is changing, and distance learning can help. In-person interactions are no longer the main focus. The purpose of this study is to use the CMS paradigm to create an e-learning model. In addition, the paradigm of teacher-oriented learning has given way to student-oriented learning. Students are now positioned as learning subjects rather than as learning objects in this student-oriented learning environment. These days, there are a lot of learning resources available, and e-learning involves the use of technology (the internet). Through the use of the Internet, intranet, or online media, educational resources can be made available to students through e-learning. further networks of computers. Given that computer technology is used by educators, students, and educational institutions to carry out teaching and learning activities, e-learning has become essential for the academic community. Software for online and website-based learning activities is known as Moodle-based e-learning media. This medium takes the form of an online course presentation tool where instructors can post lesson plans, instructional videos, PowerPoint presentations, discussion boards, and tests pertaining to certain journal articles.","PeriodicalId":125607,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Computer Sciences and Mathematics Engineering","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Homes are selected based on the buyer's constraints, needs, and desires. The characteristics of housing for each family's needs and desires are different, so a selection process must be carried out. Constraints in collecting information and data for each house complex manually result in the process being less effective and efficient because it takes time and money. Several factors influence the choice of housing, namely the price of the residential unit, the area of the residence, the legality of the residence, the residential rooms, and the need for a clean water source. The SAW method is a data management method that can help buyers make decisions in choosing housing that suits their needs and desires. The SAW method will calculate the final preference value for each alternative house complex based on 20 alternative data samples for house complexes and 5 attributes. Recommendations for choosing a home complex are several options that can be adjusted or eliminated according to the buyer's constraints, needs, and desires. The results of the SAW method calculations can help and make it easier for buyers to make decisions in choosing housing from several recommended housing complexes. The SAW method can be applied in the housing selection process based on the buyer's constraints, needs, and desires. Using a decision support system can save time and minimize errors.","PeriodicalId":125607,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Computer Sciences and Mathematics Engineering","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study implements the A star heuristic search algorithm in determining the shortest path using the Visual Basic programming language and MySQL database. A star heuristic algorithm is implemented to find the shortest path between two vertices in a two-way weighted graph. We use a heuristic method to estimate the remaining cost from the start node to the destination point. This condition gives the A star algorithm the opportunity to choose the next closest node and optimize the search for the shortest route. Various experiments have been carried out with various graph conditions and with different complicated graphs to test the A star algorithm. The experimental results show that this algorithm succeeds in finding the shortest path efficiently in various situations. Our findings confirm that the A star algorithm has great potential in solving the shortest path search problem with an advantage in combining various information and remaining cost estimates, thereby minimizing the number of explored nodes and producing the shortest path efficiently.","PeriodicalId":125607,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Computer Sciences and Mathematics Engineering","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116960755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
