In modern conditions of high sanctions pressure, systemic problems that hinder the effective development of agricultural production have worsened. Increasing the investment attractiveness of agriculture is becoming the main vector and a necessary condition for countering negative exogenous factors and ensuring sustainable agricultural growth. The subject of the study is organizational and economic relations that develop in the process of searching for ways to increase the investment attractiveness of agriculture. The purpose of the study is to evaluate and scientifically substantiate the directions of increasing the investment attractiveness of agriculture. Research objectives: 1) to clarify the essential content of the concept of “investment attractiveness of agriculture”; 2) to assess the investment attractiveness of the industry; 3) to determine the directions of growth of investment attractiveness of agriculture. The main research methods are monographic, statistical, graphical. Results. The article provides an analytical assessment of the investment attractiveness of agriculture in Russia. The individual elements (natural resource, production, innovation, financial, economic and labor) of the investment potential of agriculture are analyzed. The investment risks of the industry are justified. It is concluded that the investment attractiveness of agriculture is quite low, despite the existing potential for its growth due to the possibilities of using significant natural resource potential; a high level of adaptation of the industry to external negative factors of impact; favorable natural and climatic conditions; significant export potential of the industry. The scientific novelty. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the effect of biochar on the physico-chemical properties of the soil and morphometric and some chemical characteristics of durum wheat (Triticum durum L.) and indirectly assess the availability of macronutrients in the soil-biochar system based on the state of plants. Methods. Biochar was obtained from birch sawdust at a temperature of 500 °C and was applied in the amount of 2 % of the weight of air-dry soil. Results. As a result of the vegetation experiment, it was revealed that the application of biochar led to changes in the properties of heavy-loamy agro-soddy-podzolic soil – a significant increase in the pH values of the water extract and the total nitrogen content, but at the same time – to a significant decrease in the content of total organic carbon content. Despite the improvement of some soil characteristics, the application of biochar did not affect the height of plants, leaf weight, root weight, nitrogen and phosphorus content in leaves and yield, and also negatively affected the total weight of plants and the weight of grains, which decreased by 15 % and 18 %, respectively, compared to control. The application of biochar had an impact on the structure of the wheat root system – its branching increased, while the diameter of the absorbing roots significantly decreased. The experiment also showed an increase in mycorrhization of roots due to the functional structures of the fungus – arbuscules and vesicles. The scientific novelty lies that the application of biochar from birch sawdust, despite the improvement of some physico-chemical characteristics of the soil, negatively affects the growth of wheat. The reaction of the aboveground parts of plants and the root system indirectly indicates a decrease in the availability of nutrients in the soil-biochar system. Drone brood is a product that exhibits high biological activity, so its use can be recommended to a wide range of people as an adaptogenic, actoprotective and antioxidant agent. The high concentration of biologically active substances, such as decenoic acids, unsaturated fatty acids, sulfhydryl groups, sugars, hormones and hormone-like compounds makes drone brood a product very sensitive to environmental factors, which necessitates its stabilization. To stabilize drone brood homogenate, in a number of countries, a lactose-glucose adsorbent is usually used. The relevance of the work is due to the widespread prevalence of lactase deficiency among the population, the prevalence of which among the Eastern Slavs reaches 16–18 %, and among some peoples of Asia, Australia and America exceeds 80 %, which limits the use of adsorbed drone brood using a classical adsorbent containing lactose. The purpose of the work is to develop an innovative product based on drone brood that does not contain lactose as an adsorbent, and to trace the dynamics of the preservation of its biologically active components during storage. Potato starch was used as a lactose substitute in the adsorbent. This product can be recommended to a wider range of consumers. The work used methods for determining the physicochemical parameters of products, such as humidity, oxidation index, hydrogen index, mass fraction of decenoic acids, mass fraction of crude protein, free acidity, acid number, iodine number. The scientific novelty lies in the development of formulations for new products based on drone brood that do not contain lactose and the determination of the optimal product among them in terms of technological and physicochemical parameters. The need to increase the production of fruits and berries raises the question of increasing productivity, which is possible in modern conditions through the digital transformation of the horticulture industry. The purpose of this study is to develop approaches that will allow us to prepare a concept for the digital transformation of the country's horticulture. Research methods: socio-economic analysis, graphical and SWOT analysis. Scientific novelty of the research: the strengths and weaknesses of the development of digitalization in horticulture in the Russian Federation, the emerging opportunities and threats, have been identified, factors hindering the development of digital technologies in the country's horticulture have been identified, and measures have been proposed to mitigate their impact. Research results. The article examines the provision of fruits and berries of the country's own production by region in relation to actual consumption and consumption standards recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the period 2010-2021. Based on the calculations made, it was concluded that in recent years it has been possible to increase these indicators in the country as a whole to 37.9 % and 27.3 %, respectively, however, the share of imports remains high and the issue of increasing horticultural products is very relevant. The SWOT analysis of the development of digitalization in horticulture in the Russian Federation showed that along with the capabilities of digital technologies, there are also weaknesses, the main of which are significant investment costs for both design organizations and users – specific agricultural producers. Factors hindering the development of digital technologies in Russian horticulture are divided into five groups: industry, economic, government, technical and social. To mitigate the impact of these factors, it is recommended to use additional government support measures, as well as cooperation and the creation of clusters, which is confirmed by the experience of foreign countries. Examples of successful Russian cooperatives in the field of growing and harvesting fruits and berries are given. Long-term (more than 20 years) studies were carried out on meadow – chernozem soil in the southern forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia. In a stationary grain-steam crop rotation (steam-wheat-wheat-wheat-barley), a comparative assessment of fertility, the state of agrophytocenosis, yield and quality of spring wheat grain, depending on the placement of the crop in the crop rotation, the tillage system, and complex chemicalization was carried out. The purpose of the research is to establish the influence and effectiveness of multi-level agricultural technologies of spring wheat on the elements of soil fertility, the state of agrophytocenosis, productivity and technological properties of grain in the southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia. Research methods. In the southern forest-steppe agricultural landscapes, the effectiveness of multi-level agricultural technologies of spring wheat cultivation has been established, with an increase in yield from 1.51 to 3.24 t/ha (2.1 times) and a decrease in technological parameters of grain. For the first time, the share contribution of chemicalization components in increasing the productivity of spring wheat cultivated by steam and in the grain-steam crop rotation has been established. Two-factor experience: factor A – tillage system (dump-plowing on the head of 20–22 cm, annually; combined-plowing in the fallow field and under the third wheat after steam for 20–22 cm and flat-cut on the head of 10–12 for the second wheat after steam barley; flat-cut on the head of 10–12 cm for all crops annually; minimal – in the fallow field cultivation on the 8–10 cm. in other fields without autumn treatment); factor B – means of intensification (control – without chemicals, the option of complex application of chemicals included the combined use of fertilizers (N24 P36 per 1 ha of arable land), recommended herbicides, fungicides and retardants). Results. It was found that intensive agrotechnology with the use of fertilizers and plant protection products makes the main contribution to increasing the yield and technological parameters of grain – 30–35 %, precursors – up to 20–25 %, weather conditions of the growing season – 18–20 %, the system of tillage in crop rotation – 10–12 %. The complex application of chemicals contributes to an increase in crop biomass to 2080 g/m2 (by 49 %), reduces water consumption to 73 mm per 1 t of grain (2.7 times), optimizes the nutrient regime of the soil and the phytosanitary state of agrophytocenosis, which ultimately increases yields from 1.51 to 3.27 t/ha while improving the technological properties of grain gluten content up to 26.4 – 29.4 %. Long-term rational use of chemicals does not lead to the accumulation of ecotoxicants in soil and grain. The purpose is to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the yield and quality of soybean grain in the conditions of the forest-steppe of the Southern Trans-Urals. Methods. The object of the study is the early-ripening soybean variety Cheremshanka of the Omsk Agrarian Scientific Centre zoned in the Ural region. The studies were carried out in a stationary experiment included in the register of long-term experiments of the Geonetwork of the Russian Federation. Soybean was cultivated in a grain-grass crop rotation, the predecessor was winter rye. Nitrogen fertilizers are spread into the soil for pre-sowing cultivation. Factorial scheme of experience – 0, N1, N2, N3, P1, P2, P3, all combinations (4 × 4). Doses of fertilizers in the crop rotation for soybeans and peas – N20–60. The effectiveness of nitrogen fertilizers was studied against the background of the aftereffect of phosphorus fertilizers. The spatial implementation of the scheme was carried out in two blocks. The repetition of the fields is fourfold. The total area of an elementary plot is 240 m2, the accounting area is 114 m2. The following methods were used in the studies: common humus according to Tyurin; the sum of absorbed bases according to Kappen – Gelkovitz; pH potentiometrically; mobile phosphorus and exchangeable potassium according to Chirikov; protein in grains of peas and soybeans according to Kjeldahl; fat by the Soxhlet method. Results. Studies have established that soybeans in crop rotation are not inferior to peas in terms of productivity, and due to the oil yield, the soybean rotation even surpasses the similar crop rotation with peas. The protein content in soybean seeds increases with an increase in the dose of nitrogen fertilizer, while the fat content decreases. Scientific novelty. The management of a significant part of agricultural, processing and marketing organizations of the agro-industrial complex no longer doubts the need for technical and technological transformation of the agribusiness model in the direction of digitalization and system integration as the main determinants of increasing the efficiency of their activities. At the same time, the analysis showed that today active processes of information technology implementation are recorded in all spheres of production and economic activity, however, the agro-industrial complex is still in the rearguard of the noted trends, which forms a vast field of activity for the implementation of digital projects and requires the preparation of a set of effective measures to increase the level of digitalization. The purpose of the work was to develop a platform mechanism for integrating resource subsystems of regional agricultural enterprises through digital transformation. The proposed approach is consistent with GOST R ISO 19439-2008 “Enterprise integration. The basis of enterprise modeling”. The following research methods were used: statistical-economic, monographic, abstract-logical, computational-constructive. Research results. The conducted analysis showed that today active processes of introduction of information technologies are recorded in all spheres of production and economic activity, but agriculture is in the rear of the noted trends. As a result, there is a wide range of activities for digital projects. To this end, the authors have developed a set of effective measures to increase the level of digitalization of agro-industrial complex. Scientific novelty. The paper proposes a platform mechanism of system integration, involving the application of a theoretical and methodological basis and differentiation of the initial, mesomorphic, terminal stages of the transformation process, enabling the transit from the integration of IT devices and software across the organization based on a Single enterprise resource management system through integration with the information and communication systems of other participating enterprises on the basis of a platform product through the creation of an integrated Production chain management System to the unification of all subjects of the agricultural sector within a Single Digital System Integration Platform. The implementation of the developed mechanism implies the availability of arrays of operational and reliable industry data, as well as the formation of effective algorithms for their analysis, which provides the possibility of global planning and providing recommendations to market participants, including on the basis of artificial intelligence technologies. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the need for an assessment of the technical and technological component of agriculture, as well as the development of methodological approaches to its implementation. Methods. To achieve the goal of the study, such methods of scientific cognition as monographic, abstract-logical, institutional, analysis and synthesis, generalization of data were used. The information and theoretical and methodological base was made up of normative legal acts and strategic programs for the development of the industry, the works of domestic and foreign scientists and economists. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the research consists in substantiating the need to assess the technical and technological component of the agricultural sector of the country as a basis for the development of state projects and programs for the modernization of the industry in the transition to a new technological order. Methodological approaches are proposed for assessing the level of technical and technological development of the industry at three levels: federal, regional and the level of an economic entity. Results. The article substantiates the need to assess the technical and technological components of agriculture. The current state of the agricultural machinery industry, the main results of its work in recent years are analyzed. In order to identify problem areas and potential growth points of domestic agricultural machinery, its SWOT analysis has been compiled. It is noted that the modern Russian agricultural sector has a high dependence on imported machinery and equipment. To ensure the ability of the domestic agricultural machinery industry to replace imported supplies of machinery in the shortest possible time, it is necessary to expand and improve state support. The article is devoted to the issues of assessing the prospects for the development of horticultural non-profit partnerships of citizens. Including the identification of opportunities to increase the production of vegetables from this category of agricultural producers to meet the needs of their families and the sale of existing surpluses of certain types of these products. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodological approach to assessing the prospects of vegetable growing in horticultural non-profit partnerships of citizens and its testing in the conditions of the region to identify the possibility of its use in other territories. Methods. In the course of the study, methods of comparison, statistical and economic, sociological research, analysis and synthesis were applied. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the development of a methodological approach to assessing the prospects of vegetable production in horticultural non-profit partnerships of citizens. As a research tool, we have developed a questionnaire for interviewing members of horticultural non-profit partnerships. The scientific result is the testing of the developed methodological approach on the materials of the Irkutsk region, which made it possible to identify factors hindering the growth of vegetable production in the studied category of agricultural producers: insufficient support of horticultural associations from the authorities, poor quality of seed material, zoning to the climatic conditions of the region, difficulties in selling surplus products. In addition, based on the results of the approbation, recommendations have been developed aimed at increasing the production of vegetables in horticultural associations. The study was conducted within the framework of the scientific laboratory “Economic Research” on the basis of the Department of Economics and Accounting of the Irkutsk State Agrarian University named after A. A. Ezhevsky. The methodological approach can be used in other regions. Currently, the need for the formation of a digital economy and society is recognized at all levels of government, and digital technologies are considered as one of the key drivers of sustainable economic development. In accordance with the departmental project “Digital Agriculture”, the urgent task of the development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) is a strategic breakthrough through the introduction of digital technologies that can significantly increase the effectiveness of most production processes. The purpose of the article: the development of methodology and the development of a methodology for a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation and functioning of the regional digital platform of the agro-industrial complex. Research methods: scientific and theoretical generalization of existing approaches and methods for assessing key parameters of digitalization processes in the agro-industrial sector. The statistical data for Russia and the Novgorod Region for 2022, as well as the planned and reporting indicators of the priority regional project “Digital Agriculture” used in the author's methodology based on the conceptual triad of economic efficiency assessment, serve as an information source of the study. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the formation of an original approach to the development of tools and methods for the comprehensive assessment of digital transformations in the agro-industrial complex, which allow identifying directions for the growth of economic and managerial efficiency of the functioning of agricultural industries in a new digital formation. Research results. The author’s scheme of the regional digital platform of the agro-industrial complex is presented on the example of the Novgorod region, the methodology for assessing the allocation benefits from the consistent involvement of all subjects of the agro-industrial complex in a single digital space is developed, taking into account the specifics of their activities and readiness for digital transformation.
