From the results of interviews and reviewing the list of grades of grade X students at Senior High School of 2 Magelang, it can be seen that students' understanding of concepts on ecosystem material and students' environmental care attitudes have not been maximized. This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the understanding of concepts in ecosystem material and students' environmental care attitudes. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a nonquivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the analysis of pretest and post-test values in the experimental class and control class using the ANCOVA test obtained a significance value of 0.046. The results of the analysis of environmental care attitude questionnaires at the beginning and end of learning using the ANCOVA test obtained a significance value of 0.000 in the experimental class. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PjBL learning model on students' understanding of concepts on ecosystem material and students' environmental care attitudes.","PeriodicalId":124686,"journal":{"name":"JPBIO (Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi)","volume":"317 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139204680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of integrating the time token learning model and wordwall application-based interactive games on student communication and collaboration skills. This research is a pre-experimental type with a one-group treatment design. The population was 144 students’, and 24 samples were obtained through the purposive sampling technique. The research data was collected through observation techniques with communication and collaboration skills observation sheets as instruments. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially followed by the N-Gain test. The results showed that the average scores for communication and collaboration skills before and during treatment were respectively 45.31 and 78.53; 42.19 and 86.64. The results of the paired sample t-test all show the sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the N-Gain test on communication skills were 61.93% (effective enough category) and collaboration skills were 78.75% (effective category). Thus, it can be concluded that integrating time token learning models and interactive games based on wordwall applications effectively improves students' communication and collaboration skills.","PeriodicalId":124686,"journal":{"name":"JPBIO (Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi)","volume":"43 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to determine the influence of the SOLE learning model on the environmental literacy of high school students. The research method used is a quasi-experiment method with pre-test and post-test designs. The sample in this study was 60 class X students of SMAN 51 Jakarta with sampling using purposive random sampling techniques. Data was collected in the form of environmental literacy essay tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed that there was equality in student environmental literacy before different learning models were applied in both classes, there was an influence of the SOLE learning model on student environmental literacy, and the SOLE learning model was effective on environmental literacy while the Discovery Learning learning model was less effective on environmental literacy. Consequently, the cognitive learning outcomes of students remain subpar. Furthermore, self-regulation, a crucial psychological factor that impacts student learning outcomes, is not adequately addressed. This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes and self-regulation on excretion system material at MAN Temanggung. The STAD learning model based on differentiated learning is applied to the experimental class. The applied differentiation learning is product differentiation. Data was collected using a pretest and post-test to measure cognitive learning outcomes and a questionnaire to measure self-regulation abilities. A plant that has long been used as a traditional medicinal herb for healing is the Kayu Jawa (Lannea coromandelica (Houtt) Merr). This study aimed to characterization and identification of endophytic bacterial isolates isolated from medicinal plants Kayu Jawa (L. coromandelica (Houtt.) Merr). This research is a laboratory experimental research. In total, 8 isolates were selected as representatives of the bacterial community living in the tissues of Kayu Jawa (L. coromandelica (Houtt.) Merr). The microscopic observation was performed by Gram staining. Biochemical identification was conducted using Vitek 2. The results showed that Bacillus was the dominant genus in this study followed by Staphylococcus and Pantoea. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the endophytic bacteria isolated from Kayu Jawa Lannea coromandelica (Houtt) Merr, six isolates belonging to Bacillus and another two belonging to Staphylococcus and Pantoea genera.
