The implementation is designed for omni-directional movement without changes the robot position on a facing direction. Four stepper motors are used to drive the mecanum wheels due to these types have a good precision. This speed control feedback is not necessary. The radius of the mobile robot dimension is defined by the same distance of a and b length between wheel axis and body center of 170 mm. The inverse kinematic is conducted to control the mobile robot movement and to convert the robot velocity component of v<sub>x</sub>, v<sub>y</sub>, and ω toward angular velocity each wheels of ω<sub>1</sub>, ω<sub>2</sub>, ω<sub>3</sub>, ω<sub>4</sub> and wheel turn direction. Kinematic calculation and control mechanism are proceed by a master microcontroller and multi-slave microcontrollers which connected using SPI communication protocol. The theta angle θ is described by v<sub>x</sub> and v<sub>y</sub> vector velocity direction toward center point of the mobile robot. The movement capabilities are performed by linear direction according to the certain angle of the robot movement θ of 0° to each multiples of 45° thus obtained wheel velocity and angle movement average errors.","PeriodicalId":124449,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121150643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are still many deaths caused by malaria, particularly in eastern Indonesia. There are two types of blood perform in malaria, thick blood film and thin blood film. In Indonesia, thin blood film is used more frequently than thick blood film. Malaria parasites can be found in thick blood film rapidly due to the higher volume of the blood used and sweeping process is not as much on thin blood, still a lot of leukocytes or white blood cells and platelets in the thick blood film, making it more difficult to identify the malaria parasite. Therefore we need a method can identify malaria parasites in thick blood film with a high percentage of accuracy. This study aims to build a segmentation system more objective and reduce subjective factors of medical personnel in the diagnosis of malaria parasites. This study has two main stages, preprocessing and segmentation. We use the HSV color space in the preprocessing and morphological operations and blob analysis on the segmentation stage. From the results can be known that the blob analysis was able to identify malaria parasites automatically.","PeriodicalId":124449,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114250664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, industrial, agricultural and domestic water is discarded into rivers directly in many developing countries, since drainage systems have not been completely constructed. Water quality monitoring using radio-controlled submarine provide an opportunity to develop baseline monitoring system for river water ecosystem health indicator. We propose a design modification of radio-controlled submarine for river water quality monitoring. The proposed antenna which is developed using microstrip technology is intended to operate at a center frequency of 2.35GHz for wireless communication application. A structure of interdigital capacitor is implemented as patch radiator and printed on a grounded Roger RT/Duroid® 6010 dielectric substrate with the dielectric constant of 10.9 and the thickness of 0.127mm. The overall antenna structure is constructed from 24 cells of interdigital capacitor in which each unit cell is designed to resonate at the desired operating frequency. Since the proposed antenna is a travelling wave antenna, hence it is fed from one of its ports by using a microstrip transmission line, while another port is terminated by a matched load. From the characterization result, it demonstrates that the realized antenna prototype which requires the dimension of 236.4mm (length) × 21.15mm (width) has a resonant frequency of 2.29GHz with the bandwidth, gain and beamwidth of 30MHz, -17.49dBi and 120°, respectively.","PeriodicalId":124449,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133299232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike most existing evaluation metrics, an innovative approach is introduced into the proposed SPDA analysis to identify the undesirable saturated image pixels. This is achieved by comparing the pixel distribution of a given image represented in the CIE Lab color space before and after the color correction process. Extensive experiments show that the results of SPDA metric are consistent with those obtained from the visual inspection results. This suggests that the SPDA metric is a more reliable quantitative metric used to evaluate the performance of the color correction algorithms as compared with other existing quantitative evaluation metrics.","PeriodicalId":124449,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133729356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

OLAP internal inconsistency is an inconsistent result condition from two OLAP queries that should give the same result. Some solutions for this problem have been developed, but overlap is still occurred. Space allocation within data warehouse is also required to make these solutions work. However, saving space has been an issue on data warehouse management. Thus, using space within data warehouse to handle OLAP internal inconsistency should be prevented. This paper propose a mechanism to handle OLAP internal inconsistency that prevent overlap condition between updating and selecting process without needed space within data warehouse. This mechanism is developed by combining lock table and Message Oriented Middleware (MOM). Lock table prevent update process in the data warehouse table that is still used by OLAP operation. It avoid overlap, thus OLAP can be done anytime with consistency result guaranteed. During data warehouse table is being locked, message queue on MOM will be used to save operational data that came from data source. It made operational process ongoing and OLAP internal inconsistency can be handled without use space within data warehouse.","PeriodicalId":124449,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128279266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
