It is a cross-platform UNIX file management system that can be used from any web browser to execute file management operations on a UNIX server. Any user with a valid account on a UNIX server will be able to login to the server and create, delete, edit, download and upload files and folders to the server with the help of a very user friendly GUI without having to worry about remembering the UNIX commands. Our UNIX file management system enables the user to easily navigate to different locations on the server with the ease of a mouse click while all the UNIX commands are executed in the back end. Also our system allows user to manipulate files on UNIX system. Our system also has a profile management features which allow users to save profiles on their local machine in order to switch to the desired servers with ease and users don’t need to type in the login details every time. Along with the development of mashup technology, several mashup editors have been produced by the industry which can assist users to build mashups. However, with the increasing service and information sources distributed across the entire web space, even an easy to use mashup editor for nonprogrammers is not sufficient. In this paper, we apply the item based top-N recommendation algorithm which is widely used in e-Commerce area to recommend data source to the users while they are building mashups based on collected data of existing mashups. To solve the problems of unadaptable high original feature space dimension, too much irrelevance, data redundancy and difficulties in selecting a threshold, we propose an improved LAM feature selection algorithm (ILAMFS). Firstly, combining the gold segmentation and the LAM algorithm based on the characteristics and the category of the correlation analysis, filtering the original feature set, and retaining the feature selection with strong correlation and weak category. Secondly, with the improved LAM algorithm, weighted average and Jaccard coefficient of such thoughts feature subsets make redundancy filtering out redundant features. Finally, we obtain an approximate optimal feature subset. In this kind of applications, besides one-to-one swap, exchange can occur between more than two subscriptions, which is called cycle matching. The cycle matching provides more exchange candidates for users to choose, therefore improves the number of successful exchanges. As far as we know, there is only few work on cycle matching, which is focusing on finding cycle matchings with high quality based on a pre-built graph. There, how to find cycle matchings dynamically, which is essential for most of applications, is neglected. In this paper, we propose a dynamic cycle matching algorithm to find cycle matchings dynamically. We first present a cycle matching model, then propose the dynamic cycle matching algorithm. We prove that the algorithm can work correctly without duplication and loss of results. Our proposal is evaluated in a simulated environment. However, PDBMS (Peer-based Database Management System) runs in an unpredictable environment, where optimizer is not able to generate an efficient query execution plan based on available statistics. We present a distributed, adaptive data integration architecture–PADIA, which can execute queries quickly and provide query results in an incremental manner. PADIA collects statistics during query execution, and generates different query execution plans for different data segments based on statistics collected. By distributing query executing tasks to different nodes, PADIA lowers work load of single node and accelerates the execution of queries. However, a large amount of knowledge explicitly represented in domain knowledge has not been used to reduce the number of association rules. A significant number of known associations are unnecessarily extracted by association rule mining algorithms. The result is the generation of hundreds or thousands of non-interesting association rules. This paper presents an algorithm named DKARM, which takes into account not only database itself, but also related domain knowledge, so as to eliminate extraction of known associations in domain knowledge. Querying by words mainly depends on the performance of crawler, whereas query by example is more unpredictable, since feature extraction is still challenging due to the rich content of the image. This paper focuses on the issue of similarity retrieval in high-dimensional space, a problem of performing nearest neighbor queries efficiently and effectively over large high-dimensional databases. This phenomenon is called software aging. Recently software rejuvenation as an efficient method to counteract software aging emerges. This method recovers the performance of the system through cleaning the internal state of system. Now component-oriented programming concept has been proposed and spreaded. And software system based on component emerges. These components with different function not only promote software reusability and self-management but also software reliability and availability. This paper demonstrates a software rejuvenation model based on resource-aware component optimized scheduling to realize software rejuvenation and avoid system crashing. In this paper we give the Lagrangian Relaxation component scheduling algorithm under single constrained condition and multi constrained condition. Then we test the algorithm and evaluate the model. Comparing system reboot, this rejuvenation model reduces MTTR (mean time to recover) very much. It is observed that, on one hand, for the same Web entity, different Web entity instances often contain different attributes, and for the same attribute, different Web entity instances often use different labels; on the other, new Web entity instances which contain new attributes and labels are appearing on the Web. Therefore, it is difficult to dynamically construct a global schema for the Web entities of a given entity type, although the global schema is highly desired in Web entity instances detection, extraction and integration. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to dynamically construct a global schema for the Web entities of a given entity type. First, a SVM (support vector machine) classification model is built based on the Web entity instances which have been extracted from related Web pages. Then, based on this model, a global schema discovery approach is provided to dynamically construct the global schema for target entity type. We use a corpus of BaiduBaike, which is a Chinese Encyclopedia, to calculate the word co-occurrence. Words allocation on topics driven by LDA is used to sort the related words glossary which is obtained by the traditional co-occurrence procedure.
