The foundation of the Yaroslavl District Court was the result of the judicial reform of 1864. District courts were the first instance in the system of general courts, and their jurisdiction extended to the province or several districts. On the example of the Yaroslavl District Court, the author examines the representation of power in the architecture of a provincial city, clarifies the initial location of the court and the material content of its premises, traces the search for a place for the administration of justice in the historical center of the city next to other administrative institutions of the Yaroslavl province and repairs in the second half of the XIX — early XX centuries. It has been established that the Yaroslavl District Court began its work onNovember 10, 1866 in the building of the House of the Vice-Governor (now Andropov Street, 6). The building in the style of classicism reflected the ideas of strength and dignity of the judiciary. In 1872, the Yaroslavl District Court moved to the Government House on Ilyinskaya Square — outstanding building of the Melgunovskaya «golden decade», named after the first Governor-General Alexei Petrovich Melgunov, who ruled the province in 1777-1788. The research topic has been updated in connection with the planned return of the Yaroslavl Regional Court to the northern corps of Government House on Sovetskaya (former Ilyinskaya) Square, where the Yaroslavl Regional Court was located until it was closed in 1918. The aim of the article is to study the impact of changes in social gender expectations on the semantic sphere of the individual, as well as on the sphere of life satisfaction. In the course of the work, a study was carried out on the influence of life-meaning orientations and life strategies on life satisfaction in men and women, and the correspondence of these life-meaning orientations and life strategies to generally accepted in modern society gender expectations was analyzed. As a result of the study, it was revealed that men experience a sense of satisfaction if their goals and values correspond to those traits that correspond to the prescribed by anonymous public authority image of masculinity. In the semantic sphere, women show masculine traits to the same extent as men, but the realization of such meanings either does not have any effect on their sense of satisfaction, or this influence turns out to be negative. Based on the study, it was concluded that changes in gender expectations have an impact on the semantic sphere of the personality of women, but were not deep enough to affect the sphere of life satisfaction. The authors refer to the scientific heritage of Ya. A. Ponomarev and apply some methods of scientometric analysis to his scientific works, which are presented in the Scientific electronic library and according to which various RSCI indicators are calculated, as well as to queries in the Yandex Internet search engine related to his personality and scientific work . The authors stated the number of indexed publications by Ya. A. Ponomarev, the number of citations of his works, the Hirsch index, his place according to the Hirsch index and the number of citations in the rating of psychologists. The number of Internet users' requests for several key phrases related to his personality and his ideas in the field of psychology of creativity and methodology of psychology was revealed, and the reasons for changes in the dynamics of Internet requests associated with the name of Ya. A. Ponomarev are examined. The analyzed indicators reveal logicalscientific (the interest of modern researchers is expressed in the number of citations, and the Hirsch index reflects the impact on various branches of psychology) and social-historical (interest from various Internet users (specialists from different professional fields, students, etc.) is expressed in the number of requests in Internet search engines) factors of demand for personality and creativity of Ya. A. Ponomarev at the present stage of development of psychological science. In the process of research, in addition to identifying the features of children's self-assessment of abilities and assessing their abilities by experts, the problem of integrating the results into educational activities, organizing cooperation between psychologists and teachers in the process of studying and further developing the abilities of students was solved. The main research methods were the author's method of self-assessment of abilities, developed and tested on the basis of the method of studying self-esteem by Dembo-Rubinstein, as well as the author's method of expert assessment by teachers and psychologists of students’ abilities. As a result of the analysis of statistical data of self-reported and expert assessments of abilities of different age children, the author received important patterns. Attention is drawn to the fact that the areas of ability in which the significance of differences between expert and self-reported indicators is noted (primary school age children – an artistic sphere, a musical sphere, a motor sphere, a sphere of communication and leadership; adolescents – a sphere of academic achievements and a literary sphere), are more associated with the individual activities of students, most often outside the school, since educational activity does not imply a systematic manifestation of these areas among schoolchildren. The author takes note that, on the one hand, an everyday culture of soviet epoch is lost, but, on the other hand, this culture has a big popularity not only in the science sphere but also in the sphere of mass culture. It accents an actuality of its researching. The exposition representing in the museum of first soviet has unicity. A museum space dedicated to a historical event shows to visitors a contrast interior of manufacturer and his worker. It illustrates that revolution as a strong move in a social and cultural life of society was inevitable. Among mass of everyday culture of soviet epoch museums the Ivanovo museum offers visitors not only demonstration of periods of soviet culture development but also representative reflection of soviet way of life and person evolution. From a person of bedsit, which even his room doesn`t become private space and full of ideological mottoes, to the person with individual set of interests, tastes and desires. This new type of person tries to bring to life his interests, tastes and desires into his new flat interior making it cozier, positive representing social changes. The museum space has synthetism as far as it repels not only historical context and social changes but also way of life details.
