After discussing the inadequacies of existing and some of the currently proposed hospital information architectures, the paper suggests a location, identification, communication and simulation system that is able to overcome some of the shortfalls of existing systems and significantly improve the efficiency and throughput of the various units of the hospital setup. The system is based on RFID and wireless sensor network-based location and information management framework and the necessary technology platform that would allow hospital assets, personnel and patients to be tracked in real-time for the purpose of optimizing operations in all aspects of the daily activities of hospitals. The system is also intended to provide a continuous visual simulation and analysis platform to streamline operations, increase process efficiency and service levels. Since then conceptual models have constantly evolved to include more sophisticated data structures as well as new concepts tailored to cover data modeling in specific domains such as temporal and spatial data. Context modeling and mobility data modeling are the latest developments, still in the research phase. This tutorial reviews the most important concepts that changed the face of database design over the last 40 years. Its design quality is indicated by the conformity rate with the requirements expressed by the decision makers and the end-users. Existing proposals for conceptual multidimensional modeling do not systematically take into consideration the end-users queries neither at the formal level nor at the requirement level for driving the data schema design of the future DW. The conformity of the Spatial DW is assured by both business constraints and spatial constraints that should be leveraged at a conceptual level to ease the design and be at a higher abstraction level in order not to be tied to a specific platform. Our extended framework encloses the user queries and the constraints at a conceptual level and gives a global approach for designing Spatial DW. It starts with a query-driven framework tailored for spatiality, and then transforms the Multidimensional Conceptual Model to a UML profile, which is enriched by business and spatial constraints using OCL. A problem concerning the use of moments as descriptors is the highest cost of calculation. In this paper, we present the reconstruction of binary and gray-scale images by Charlier moments. The calculations of these discrete orthogonal polynomials discussed in this task, including the recurrence relation with respect to variable x and order n, we propose an efficient computation of Charlier moments for binary and gray-scale images by using image block representation IBR for binary image and PIBR for gray-scale image. The moments of image can be obtained from the moments of all blocks, thus, it can accelerate the computational efficiency since the number of blocks is less than the size of the image. In this work, we propose a novel segmentation approach, which is based on fuzzy c-means clustering and using possibilist c-means approach. To validate our approach, we have tested successfully on several datasets of real images MRI. We give more attention to the mathematical formalism of the problem. We introduce the notion of the canonical representation of the query space. This is a partition of the query space formed by authorization classes. Each authorization class regroups queries that are intercepted by the same policies. This classification provides a natural way to handle interferences between policy targets (in other words conflicts /anomalies). Then we bring the study of the problem from the whole query space to elements of its canonical representation. After, we study the impact of adding and deleting policies from the policy repository on the canonical representation. The main objective is to establish theoretical concepts which allow to compare the behavior of a redefined method in a subclass with its original behavior in the super-class relatively to the basic specification. The key idea of our approach is based on a partition of domains for testing the similarity between the redefined methods and their basic methods in super-class. This paper provides in first part a survey of the indoor localization techniques.
