Researches have been done and it shows that drones have indeed made a positive impact on industries. In this research, the study will be done to see the effect of drones in the real estate market. Making work easier for potential tenants, landlord as well as the real estate agents. It can help to save time to travel, cost to travel and yet still help to show the potential tenants the houses at ease. The solution to this would be using drones, which the agent can put a minimum price to the given services. In this research, a mixed-method will be used. This topic has been featured in the Eleventh Malaysia Plan and has also gained the attention of TNB, which is Malaysia's largest electricity producer. Therefore, energy consumption analysis is needed to identify the behaviour and trends of electricity consumption at particular places and the diversity of their consumers. From this analysis, the energy consumption profile will be developed and can be used to predict daily energy consumption according to respective places and users. Machine learning techniques are commonly used for energy consumption analysis and in particular, Random Forest Classification is the method chosen for this project. To obtain energy data, the Internet of Thing (IoT) technology was adopted to collect energy consumption data, which is then studied for future classification and forecasting of energy consumption. To date, physicians still have difficulties to determine a suitable method to predict fractures. The paper aims to develop finite element (FE) model based on patient-specific computed tomography (CT) images for the purpose of determination of fracture risk. Three types of FE models have been developed using VOXELCON. The first tibia model was a complete tibia composed of epiphysis and diaphysis part of the bone. The second tibia model only include the diaphysis part of the bone which is the shaft. The final tibia model, composed of diaphysis, and a part of epiphysis of the bone which is the extension shaft. Each model uses the same Young's Modulus (19 GPa) and Poisson's ratio (0.3). The developed models were used for FE analysis using VOXELCON under various loadings, and then the results of the different models were compared. Geometry and volume of the models, and surface area of load applied on the models affect distribution of von Mises stress. All the stress values were judged by the fracture criteria, assumed at 115 MPa. It was found out patient is safe in the standing position. Unfortunately, misfits will always find new ways to misuse technology to facilitate their misdeeds. CCTV are great security measures that can be used to catch culprits in action, but other than banks, hospitals, shopping malls, academic institutes etc., a CCTV solution is beyond most household budgets and require continuous monitoring. Because mobile phones are the primary hand-held device, it is only logical to integrate these with a CCTV solution. Motion Detection Security System Notifier using Raspberry Pi with Telegram is as the name suggests. Using Raspberry Pi, a motion detection system is developed through the method of background subtraction, which works by subtracting the static from the background frame from the constantly changing foreground. The change of value in noise and pixel density between the background frame and the foreground indicates motion. Each time a motion is detected, the system will automatically send the frame to the user via Telegram to notify that there has been movement in the area as captured in the frames. A prototype is first developed in a virtual environment using VirtualBox software before running it on the Raspberry Pi. In the previous development of the robot arm, a microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 was used as the interface device to run all four joint motors of arm replacing PCI board which could only produce two analogue outputs. However, Arduino Mega 2560 was observed to produce slow computation for real-time application. Thus, the objective of this study is to apply another type of microcontroller that could solve the communication problem between the hardware, the sensors and the host computer. The features of the new microcontroller were investigated in terms of sufficient number of analogue/digital outputs, compatibility of programming software and other technical specifications to fulfill the robot's system requirement. Compared to the previous Arduino controller, the result proved that with the application of Beaglebone Black as the interface device, the closed-loop control of all motor run smoothly with almost four times faster than Arduino Mega 2560 and applicable for multiple analog outputs. Modern wireless power transfer technology already has a rich history of research and growth, as well as excellent marketing developments. One of the main goals of this study is to study and analyze the major challenges that affect the overall performance of the wireless charging system specifically improving further charging distance as compared to the current wireless mobile charger. By using the coil-size disparity method, the wireless charger is studied to operate over a longer distance. This work uses an impedance-based quality factor tuning technique to design the WPT system with coil size disparity. By varying the coupling coefficient and the inductor turn ratio, adjustments were made to the circuit to increase the transfer efficiency and to increase the distance of the device from the charging pad. This paper presents a unidirectional single-phase on-board charger for Electric Vehicles. The Power Factor Correction (PFC) capabilities of isolated SEPIC DC-DC converter are reviewed and tested. The converter has been evaluated for both Continuous and Discontinuous Conduction Modes (CCM and DCM). MATLAB/Simulink platform has been employed to validate the presented concept. As most power converters are not designed with redundancy, a malfunction of any component in the converter may prevent the vehicle to operate. Thermal cycling of the power devices is one of the main causes of failure in the power converter. Since the temperature and power losses of a power device are proportional, thermal cycling can be reduced by controlling one of the loss-related variables, such as the dc-bus voltage. For instance, variable dc-bus voltage control which adjusts the dc-bus voltage to the required motor stator voltage, has been widely investigated in the literature as an effective approach to reduce inverter power losses. In this paper, the effectiveness of this strategy in comparison with constant dc-bus voltage control is analyzed in terms of lifetime improvement. The analysis is carried out under Artemis urban and US06 driving cycles, which are used to obtain the thermal loading of the inverter power devices. Then, a lifetime model that explores the link between the thermal loading and lifetime consumption is presented. The merits of MEMS microcantilever sensors are its high sensitivity, design simplicity, portability and high speed. In this paper, the design and fabrication of a Piezoresistive (PZR) Microcantilever sensor that is used as a platform for biological sensing such as salivary amylase-activity for human stress measurement application. In principle, adsorption of saliva amylase on a functionalized surface of the microfabricated cantilever will cause a surface stress and consequently the cantilever bending. The microcantilever beam is constructed and bending analysis is performed so that the beam tip deflection could be predicted. The device model was simulated using CoventorWare™, a commercial finite element analysis (FEA) tool designed specifically for MEMS applications. The 0.5µm-thick piezoresistive sensors are made of polysilicon. This surface micromachined microcantilever is based on silicon wafers and fabricated using 0.5µm CMOS process technology. The range of microcantilevers is 40–140 µm long, 0.5-1 µm thick, and 40 µm wide. The force sensitivity of implemented sensors ranges from 2-10Pa is corresponding to salivary amylase-activity adsorbed on the piezoresistive microcantilever. The structural variation of the piezoresistors designs on cantilever beam is also considered to increase the sensitivity of the microcantilevers sensor since the forces involved is very small.
