The basic TAM model in extended form has been examined for studying the impact of the various factors on attitude formation and behavioural intention to use app-based ride-sharing. The constructs used in the structural model were tested by using software SPSS & AMOS. A total sample of 351 respondents was collected from the Indian capital region who have behavioural intentions in using app-based ride-sharing. The study established that societal influence and ecological concern for the environment are the prime factors for people in making positive attitudes toward using ride-sharing apps. App based ride-sharing providers can provide social media interface to increase the usage of such apps among the masses. This study proposes three additional factors; societal influence, ecological concern, and economical benefits along with existing perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as an antecedent of app-based ride-sharing service adoption behaviour.","PeriodicalId":119023,"journal":{"name":"Orissa Journal of Commerce","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125915276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to understand the benefits inferred by implementing KM in steel industries in particular and other industries in general. We intend to identify and examine four important outcomes of KM in the steel industry in Odisha: organizational effectiveness (OE), organizational learning (OL), innovation (INO), and competitive advantage (CA) which are found to be strongly significant in our study. We have sourced data from the two steel plants: TATA Steel, Kalinganagar as a private entity, and Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela, as a public entity. With confirmatory factor analysis, consistency between items and constructs are strongly significant. In Structural equation model, we see a strong association between independent and dependent variables. Hence, the result suggests that the identified four outcomes of KM foster a deep impact on the steel industry for its all-round development in the competitive world by thriving towards the destination of success.","PeriodicalId":119023,"journal":{"name":"Orissa Journal of Commerce","volume":"410 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132034785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 219 investors in India’s banking sector made up the study’s population. The study used an online questionnaire to gather quantitative data, which was then processed using the statistical software SPSS. According to the report, mergers and acquisitions in the banking industry boost shareholder value. Investors had a different perspective of shareholders’ wealth after mergers and acquisitions, according to Income and qualification. This paper will focus on different individual perception towards Shareholders wealth and profitability of Banks according to the demographic factors. This paper will benefit the Acquiring Companies to understand investors’ perception of their shareholders’ wealth post announcement of M&A. Accordingly the Policy makers can frame policies post studying the perception of Investors.","PeriodicalId":119023,"journal":{"name":"Orissa Journal of Commerce","volume":"269 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128540447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
