This research is focus on speaking skill as important skill of four basic language learning. Using qualitative descriptive method, researcher analysis students' problems in speaking of eleventh grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi, Lamongan. The students’ usually faced problems when speaking, such as lack of vocabulary and grammar. This research is guided by research problems as follows: (1) what are student’s problems in speaking English at eleventh grade in SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi. (2) What are the causes of students’ problems in speaking English at eleventh grade in SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi. Researcher used qualitative methods. In answering research problems, researcher used observations and interviews. The researcher uses three main phases of data analysis namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis, the result of research found the students problems, included the cause of problems in English speaking. In speaking English every students has their typical problems, but in general those can be stated as follows: lack of vocabularies, grammar, pronoun, comprehension and fluency. The researcher also found that the causes of students’ problems are, lack of confidence, fear of mistakes, shyness, anxiety and low of motivation. The method used in this study was the pre-experimental type One Group Pretest-Posttest. This method used a class that was used as the object of research. This research was conducted at SMK 1 Baureno located on Jl. Raya Kepohbaru Department No. 258, Baureno, Plumbungan, Bojonegoro. The object of this research was the 10th grade computer and network engineering students at SMK 1 Baureno. The number of students was 34 consisting of 17 male students and 17 female students. This research was conducted on February 5 through March 11, academic year 2019/2020. There were three activities carried out, namely pretest, treatment and posttest. The hypothesis accepted in this study was the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Because the results of this study indicated that the t-test of 34 students was 17,07 with a significant level of t-table 0,05. This mean that there were differences in the ability of students before and after treatment was given. And from the results of questionnaires that had been done that 10th grade students of computer and network technique at SMK 1 Baureno prefered to read online (using socrative) rather than reading offline. This research was conducted at SMP “Empat Lima” Karanggeneng. This research is a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles. This study was carried out on February until May 2020. The subjects were the seventh grade students of SMP “Empat Lima” Karanggeneng, Lamongan. The data were collected by holding the test, interviewing, observing and distributing the questionnaire. The instruments that have been used are writing paragraph rubric, interview guideline, observational note and questionnaire sheet. The data that were used in this research are qualitative dan quantitative. This study used democratic validity, outcome validity, catalytical validity, process validity and dialogic validity as the validation. Then, the reliability of this study were time and investigator triangulation. There were several steps in this research implememntation, they are identifying the problems, planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results showed that the use flashcard media in writing has been able to improve students’ writing skill. According to the qualitative data, the students were enjoy and enthusiastic with the implementation of flahcard media in writing lesson. The They also felt easier to make a descriptive paragraph through this media. According to the quantitative data, the students’ main score was improved in the each cycle. It is often used both in spoken and written form. For the learners, to change the active into passive voice of the target language is very confusing. The students usually make errors in building passive sentences as they ignore some aspects required in arranging best form of passive sentence. The students of El-Madani Islamic Boarding School Deket Lamongan were confused to change the verb in different tenses. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. The research was chosen because this type of research defines what exist and may help to reveal new point and meaning. The survey and experiment, which were used in this research, was the phenomena of English errors passive sentences made by the students. The population of this research is all the students of El-Madani Modern Islamic Boarding School.The researcher used test and questionnaire to collect the data. The result of this study shows that (1) the kinds of errors commonly made by the students in changing active voice to passive voice are errors of omission, errors of addition, errors of miss-formation, and errors of miss-ordering (2) The students have difficulties in understanding passive voice especially in four tenses, simple present tense, simple past tense, present continuous tense and past continuous tense. (3) Factors which affect students’ ability in passive voice are: classroom atmosphere, lack of experience in using English, teacher’s explanation was not clear enough, the differences between passive voice in Bahasa and English. The type of this research was qualitative approaches. The subject of this study were the eleventh grade students of social 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi Lamongan. Total students are 32 students. The techniques of collecting data are interview and questionnaire. The primary instruments of this research is interview instrument. In addition by using questionnaire sheet. The technique for analyzing Data collection techniques carried out in two ways, namely: interview and questionnaire. Data analysis technique using descriptive analysis, the researcher explains one by one of the two ways that can be done in data collection. The results of this study indicate that students have low interest in learning English, it also supported by the results of the questionnaire. Based on the results of the English teacher and students interviews also the questionnaire that showed students’ interest in learning English were very low, the feeling of pleasure and interest of students in learning English as well as too monotonous learning method became the main factors that cause students’ interest in learning English. This research aims to know the students’ difficulties in reading comprehension at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi and to know the factors of students’ difficulties in reading comprehension at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted in march 2020. The subject of research was the tenth-grade MIPA 5 of SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi who were detected that they had difficulties in reading comprehension. The techniques for collecting the data were interviews and documents. the researcher collected the data such as students’ worksheet. The second was data reduction. The researcher classified and reduced the data based on focus. The researcher deleted several data that did not relate to the difficulties in reading comprehension. The third was the data display, the researcher arranged the information to conclude. The researcher presented the data from the difficulties in reading comprehension, and the last is the conclusion. The result of the research showed that some students had difficulties in reading comprehension and they had difficulty in different levels, namely literal comprehension, inferential comprehension, critical comprehension, and creative comprehension. The most difficulties experienced by students were at the level of creative comprehension. The factor of the students’ difficulties in comprehension at tenth grade, there was an inadequate instruction presented by the teacher, lack of pupils’ interest, and the vocabulary difficulties. The research subjects are X MIPA 6 students of SMAN 1 Sukodadi who had difficulties when writing descriptive text, the data of this research are the result of students’ worksheet and the students’ answer in interview. This research used documentation and interview to collect the data. Data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion was used to analyze the data. The result of this research shows that the students of X MIPA 6 have difficulty in writing descriptive text, the difficulties are difficulties in generic structure, difficulties in grammar, and difficulties in spelling. While the factors that cause the students’ difficulties in writing descriptive text are lack of proficiency in the text production skills, lack of knowledge relating to the subject contents of the script to be written, and lack of interest in learning English. This process helps the students evaluate their own work and learning process. This study try to implement one of self assessments, namely Type Token Ratio (TTR). It calculates word repetition by deviding the total number of words in a text (tokens) by the number of individual words. This self assessment will be used to only one type of personalities, namely introverted students. The aims of the study are describing the types of token that most used by the introverted students, describing the types of token rarely used by the introverted students, and describing the introverted students opinion about Type Token Ratio (TTR) for their writing. The descriptive qualitative method was implemented in this study. the sources of the data were taken from twenty students of first semester in English Educational Program of UNISDA Lamongan. The findings showed that types of token most used by the introverted students are: nouns appear 466 times, verbs appear 266 times, pronouns appear 266 times and prepositions appear 251 times. Whereas, they rarey used: adverbs appears 171 times, determiners appears 159 times, conjunctions appear 123 times, adjectives appear 94 times and interjections appear 7 times. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the introverted students most often use noun and most rarely use interjection in their writing. This study employed classroom action research, which was administered to find out how the ILO-SIYB Business Game can help improving speaking proficiency of students in Economics Faculty of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, Indonesia. The result of the study showed that the use of ILO-SIYB Business Game could improve students’ speaking proficiency, in terms of several aspects covering fluency, accuracy, and enjoyment in class. Therefore, the game is recommended to be used in ESP classes, especially to students of Economics Faculty.
