However, this issue is often discussed on the theoretical level. This paper suggests an alternative and meaningful model on testing the relationship between housing price and land supply factors. The study is based on land parcels' information and relevant housing developments information of Chengdu, the capital of Sicuan Province, from 1999 to 2004. This paper choose an basic angle to study the relationship between housing price and land factors that are included in parcel area, land lease mode, land price etc. The Hedonic price model is applied in this paper to measure the implicit price of different factors of land. The empirical results present that: (1) If other factors keep stable, the elasticity of land price to housing price is very small. This means that housing price is not impacted by land cost very much; (2) Land supply mode has very significant impact on housing price. Paper compares three kinds of mode. They are agreement supply (mode 1), ownership transfer mode (mode 2) and public auction (mode 3). Average housing price of mode 2 is 8.7% higher than that of mode 1. And, average housing price of mode 3 is 15.8% higher than that of mode 1; (3) Lot area has positive impact on housing price. If other factors keep stable, For example, the average housing price on the land over 100,000 m2 is 13.4% higher than that on the land below 10,000 m2. Followed by discussion of the findings of empirical study on the impacts of the land supply factors on housing price in Chengdu, some proposals are given as follow. The conclusions and proposals from this paper should also be applicable to other places of Mainland China","PeriodicalId":115488,"journal":{"name":"2006 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114145247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper, however, built the measure index system of the firm's core rigidities in the perspective of complex adaptive system, insisting the firm consists of legal and shadow systems. Through collecting data by questionnaire, we applied grey target theory into analyzing core rigidities' influential factors in high-tech firms and rank the order of the four firms according to core rigidities. Research demonstrated that the shadow system's support for human resources sub-system, culture sub-system, and organizational structure sub-system has significant influence on the high-tech firm's core rigidities, while the shadow system's support for strategy sub-system, assets sub-system and technology sub-system has not","PeriodicalId":115488,"journal":{"name":"2006 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121876698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After stating the assumptions, a mixed integer nonlinear programming model was built to solve the vehicle routing problem (VRP) based on the strategy of replenishment on the way with regions-integrated. Since the problem is NP-hard and existing algorithms can not be used directly, according to the model's specific configuration, a heuristic algorithm was developed based on the geometrical analysis, by which the replenishment locations on the way and the distribution route can be ascertained by secondary search and batch insert. So every country takes great supervision and regulation on bank both in developed country and developing country. There are two kinds of regulation ways: on-site regulation and off-site regulation. On-site regulation is a method that needs regulators go to the bank spot themselves. It is indispensably, but it is a way wasting cost and time. While off-site regulation use the data submitted to the regulator by bank for checking bank's risk. As the development of computer and network, off-site regulation is becoming a useful way for regulation. Compared with on-site regulation, off-site regulation is a continuous and forward regulation method. How to identifying the bad bank which has more risk from good bank and risk early-warning is the work of off-site regulation. Clustering is a way of recognition bad bank. SOM (self-organizing feature map) is a useful tool for clustering. It is used widely in many fields for clustering objects into some class, such as management, finance, and etc. In real regulating process, some data may be a fuzz number or a grey number. For example, if the regulator wants to know the capital adequacy ratio of a bank between January and June, the ratio may be change from 7.5 to 8.2. Considered elements of input node and weight vector of SOM are interval grey numbers in SOM, in this paper, normalized these intervals grey numbers, defined the interval grey number Euclidean distance, and proposed GSOM (grey SOM) model which can solve uncertain problems efficiently. In the end, we studied intelligent clustering of commercial bank off-site regulation empirically using this model. The result showed that: compared with traditional SOM model, GSOM is easy for programming, has a strengthened ability of anti-interference and a higher precision of classification","PeriodicalId":115488,"journal":{"name":"2006 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117035036","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Management auditing is an auditing of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The efficiency refers to production efficiency which means the relationship between output and resource consumption. But it failed to reveal the factors of enterprise internal (\"black box\") to output, and lacked of in-depth study of the deprive and growth in production efficiency, so as not to reveal the secret of efficiency. This paper on the basis of X-efficiency theory in economics points out the limitation of efficiency in management auditing and then amends and supplements it. Through in-depth research on enterprises internal operational behavior, the author tries to open the \"black box\". That is not to research only on enterprises production efficiency, but to the smallest unit in enterprises- human research and study the relationship between efforts and production efficiency. The paper points out that the efficiency in management auditing depends on the allocation efficiency and X-efficiency. The proposal of management auditing based on X-efficiency theory can properly answer the pendent problem that management auditing \"is used to measure the management with efficiency\", and also can provide information which can't be obtained in old management auditing to the decision-makers, while proposing a mathematical model different from the previous literature on X- efficiency measurement, and giving a empirical analysis","PeriodicalId":115488,"journal":{"name":"2006 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129589135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper makes a pioneering attempt to explore the determinants of firm-level export behaviors in high-tech industries in the context of a less-developed country (China). By introducing a learning effect in the cycles in technological leadership as a new explanatory variable into traditional production function, the paper develops an original two-stage micromodel of international trade. Productivity advantage always determines the export decision, and export behaviors also depend on the characteristics of technology progress in the cycle, firm's R&D efforts and foreign direct investment. At the stage of routine technology progress, productivity advantage facilitates firms' exporting labor-intensive parts or components of high-tech products; at the stage of introduction of new technology, firms have opportunities to become technological leader and base their export decision on innovation edge.
